I've just recently gotten into this experimental group. Despite my confidence that I couldn't sit through a 8+ min song, I can manage to sit through the 15 min+ Volta songs. They're dropping a new album in a few weeks and from the sound of a jew songs it sounds like their best. Here's one of my favorites: Goliath- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRDG9GKb-TM
  2. Teddy Boy Boogie,,,it's awesome. Is it not Social D?
  3. I purchased them and chose the "print at home" option so I wouldn't have to pay for the deliver B.S. But I guess you could say I did print them from the internet...
  4. Well if no one specifies anything I will, otherwise I'll take one's advice. Just wanted to know what people have done fi they had chosen that option.
  5. So to save a few bucks I chose the print at home option. Is it idiotic for me to take along the "Order Info", or is all thats needed the "Ticket Info."
  6. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Requiem for a Dream
  7. Are you people sane? I couldn't wait for the damn film to end.
  8. I hated the Godfather, don't see why it's so good. Perhaps it's too old for my likings.

I had no expectations upon watching this movie and well I thought it was awesome. It had some creepy moments, some really humorous ones, and a quite satisfying resolution.
  10. Haven't bothered to watch those, I guess i will soon
  11. Robert De Niro- This man amazes me time and time again, it's too bad he's aged and well cant repeat AGAIN. -Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Meet the Parents, Goodfellas Edward Norton-OMG this guy has made no bad movie -25th Hour, American History X, The Score...

  13. Taxi Driver "You talking to me? You talking to me? Well, I'm the only one here. "
  14. I agree with you partly. In Science of Sleep it's preety clear to see what part you mean but its not the case for ESOTSM. Why I think Sunshine didnt have those elements was because Kaufman was with em. Kaufman would simply not allow em to after Clooney fk'd up his script in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. I think it's because Gondry went solo that he added those elements to it. Nevertheless they were done excelently, especially the "grand theft auto" scene  . Hope Kaufman and Gondry team up again in the future.
  15. I love Gondry, he did a grea job with this one. It was sorta expected for it not to be as good as Sunshine seeing as that he went solo on this one but its direction is up to par. The movie is very "nice" and really exposes Gondry's wacky, strange, and cool ideas. My favorite was the one second time machine, that was just great.
  16. Gondry and Aronofsky has both amazed me time and time again, even though they have made few movies. The future looks bright.
  17. The Jerk 7/10 Nothing remarkable or groundbreaking but it was a solid comical movie.
  18. I love how Aronofsky does this throughout the whole movie, really adds to the film's message. QmENFHfCof0 I love the intro to the movie it just rocks man it just does :yahoo: T3g9nTOV9KM Gondry has become one of my favorite directors. This film introduced me to his work and well he's simply brilliant. 3MjlJmi0sj8

Quentin's fifth film is brilliant. Loved both versions but I'd take the second over the first. Can't wait for Inglorious bast*rds :cheer:

I hope, as all of you know the man is a damn genius. His works are undeniably not for the soft-hearted. Pi was a great, creative, odd debut by Darren that would forshadow his later works. Requiem for a Dream, his follow up adaptation of a novel, is easily ONE OF THE BEST movies ever. The characters, plot, dialoge, is definitely not for the soft! It's a very graphic tale of drug's effect on peeps  . Now his next movie was all his own just like Pi. It was a doozie-The Fountain. It was by far his weirdest movie, a movie that I need to watch to understand. One of the most difficult movies to understand, I think. Now I just wanted to share this mini bio and see if anyone else appreciates his work. Here are some of my favorite trailers of his films in chronological order: http://youtube.com/watch?v=JRgIbKEsYT4 http://youtube.com/watch?v=_IP_Rjx4wVY

Sunshine's my favorite movie of all time :w00t: The cinemotography is amazing, Gondry did an amazing job. The character's are all fell flushed out nad Carrey does an amazing job for this new type of role for him  . The story was extremely well written by Kaufman who the man himself is a genius. The story wasn't as complex as Being John Malkovich but that doesnt mean the story was a low point. The story was well done with the different stages of memory. The ending was   at the same time! Gondry + Kaufman = cinema-sex
