The event wasnt much to boast off. Two matches were indeed great, the TLC match and the DX re-union. Other matches were pretty similar. Cena & Orton and you have the same results, some way or the other Orton manages to have the wwe championship back. Kane graduates from a jobber and finally defeats khali. No story lines for upcoming PPV's hence a compulsion entry for the deadman where he choke slams CM Punk. Honestly speaking with Lashely in TNA and hogan all set to join Vince better come up with ideas. WWE as of now stinks.
  2. So it was indeed an excellent PPV after a long time from the wwe. And why not?? After all Survivor series isn't another backlash or cyber-sunday. Along with Wrestlemania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble, Survivor Series completes the list of Mega PPV'S (pay per views) the the promotion holds. So this one was indeed going to be special considering the poor storylines that the earlier PPV'S held. John Cena - the champ returned to capture his maiden heavywoeight championship after defeating Chrish Jericho. The Undertaker defeated the Big Show in a casket match - a speciality of the deadman. Shawn Michales capatained his team to Victory over JBL'S, while Randy Orton had the final laugh as he and his team defeated former evolution teammate Batista. But the biggest suprise was the return of Edge. After Summerslam no one heard of Edge, and to see him replace Jeff Hardy and defeat HHH and Vladmir Koslov for the WWE championship was really suprising but at the same time a big draw. With good stroylines coming up we can eagerly look ahead to armagadeon for a better PPV. Put in your comments as to what you felt about this years survivor series.
  3. One of the greatest Heavyweights of all time, Bill Goldberg is considering a comeback to professional wrestling and is eyeing Hulk Hogan's promotion. Wonder if the man who has held the Big Gold belt twice in either promotions will be seen again in the WWE. Considering the current state of wrestling we really do need a champion who is cheered through out by the crowd. Even till date when I go past the old WCW tapings the chants of "Goldberg" still haunts my ears....really want to see him tear apart the likes of HHH and Batista or Cena for the matter...also we are yet to witness a Goldberg v/s the Undertaker feud...something that has always been anticipated but never been seen. Coming to the Survivor update..Team HBk V/S JBL has been announced & with Khali turning face a major stury line is in the wings. Also the PPV will mark the return of John Cena, who will take on Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship...from the smackdown part we could expect HHH against Kozlov for the WWE championship and Team Taker against team Show...what do you guys say...put in your comments....

Well another WWE PPV (Pay per view) is coming up shortly....the matches that are set up are as follows. HHH will take on Jeff Hardy to defend his wwe championship, Chrish Jericho will take on Shawn Michaels for his World Heavy Weight Championship. This match is already being talked about, since it will be a ladder match, a match that HBK made famous at WM - 10. For the ECW championship it will be Mark Henry against the defending champion Matt Hardy. Candice Michelle will have to fight Beth Phoenix for the WWE Women's championship. As for the tag-tam championships, the Intercontinental Championship and the US championship, no matches have been named so far, It's a pity that the championships which were once at par with the WWE championship are being held by mid-carders and have lost the area of interest. For a change we might see Big Show taking on The Undertaker. Also Batista will take on JBL to determine the no 1 contender for the WHC at the next PPV. This one promises to be a good one. What do you people have to say about this???. Put in your comments regarding this PPV.

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) recently Concluded their 10th Major PPV, on Sunday the 7th of September 2008. While the WWE Championship didn't change hands, as HHH successfully defended it in the scramble, the ECW championship and the World Heavy Weight Championship did change hands. While Matt Hardy emerged victorious in the Land of Extreme, it was Chris Jericho who went out of the ring from the RAW segment as the champion. Earlier Shawn Michaels dished out some serious beating to Chris Jericho and Lance Cade. For the World Heavyweight Championship, which was supposed to defended by the reigning champion C.M.Punk, but Randy Orton seemed to had other plans for the night. The Legend killer along with team priceless and Manu, the second generation superstar brutalized the straight edge superstar in the locker room area, the new Raw General Manger had to announce a replacement for Punk and it was revealed to be Jericho, who successfully pinned Kane to win the championship. The team of Priceless successfully defended their tag team against Cryme time. Divas Champion Michelle McCool was also victorious in defending her divas championship against Marysee. The biggest surprise came in the form of the Big Show who was complaining of being deprived of a championship match. Earlier the Undertaker demanded that he would punish Vickie Gurreiro for her actions at Unforgiven. Vickie Gurreiro instead demanded an apology from the Deadman. While in the ring when the Big Show was asking for an explanation as to why he was left out of the championship scramble, the Undertaker appeared to punish Vickie Gurreiro for her deeds. It was here that the Big Show changed sides and sided with the GM and proceeded to decimate the Undertaker and leave him unconscious. With Randy Orton all scheduled to return to raw and a new story line beginning in SmackDown, we wrestling fans should be in for a some excellent matches and better PPV'S (Pay per views) to follow.
  6. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8f/Rock_on_poster.jpg After a spate of some forgetable films, comes an excellent movie that leaves you spellbound. Whether it is for the music, the acting or the technical finesse, Rock On scores in every department. The Story is about 4 college friends who formed a rock band and wanted to make it big, but things didn't go their way and they were forced to disband. 10 years later they find themseleves in a situation where they have a chance of pursuing their dreams...but are they willing to go ahead...this is what the story is all about. Character wise every actor pitches in excellent performances. Director turned actor Farhan Akhtar is a treat to watch and so is Arjun Rampal. In fact the silence that the later oozes through out the film as a professionally failed businessman cum musician speaks volume of his talent. Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny are good and so is the music...It's a must watch..

Well we all know that WCW and ECW has been purchased by wwf which has been re-named wwe. Wrestling isn't the same anymore. But yes with the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and HHH still hanging out there and with new promising talents like John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton and the Hardy's at the side it is still worth a watch. What it really misses are icons. A decade earlier you had so many...Infact every one of them...Razor Ramon, Bret Hart, Diesel, Stone Cold, rocjk plus the wcw stars ...all were big names...and their matches were eagerly waited....Wish we get those days back again.

The WWE just concluded their Major PPV (Pay Per View) for this summer, SummerSlam.... Compared to the Previous shows like The Great American Bash and Night Of Champions, this proved to be better. Forst the Deadman returned to bury his hatch with edge, defeating him in a Hell in a Cell Match. Batista overpowered John Cena..C.M.Punk and HHH retained their titles respectively against JBL and The Great Khali respectively. Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix defeated Kofi Kingston and Mickie James to become the new Intercontinental Champion and WWE women's champion. MVP defeated Jeff Hardy after a distraction from United States Champion Shelton Benjamin. Shawn Michaels farewell speech was made all the more ugly after Jericho interfered and attacked his wife. ECW Champion Mark Henry retained his ECW Championship against Matt Hardy via Disqualification...It was a pity we didn't get to see The BigShow Kane and ReyMysterio in action...they would have been better and bigger draws then kofi kingston and Santino Marella definitely...Put in your comments regarding the show...
  9. Well The Undertaker is back to SmackDown and will be taking on Edge in a Hell in a Cell Match at SummerSlam. Also Batista will be taking on John Cena we will be seeing two of the best athletes taking on each other. Also Matt Hardy challenging Mark Henry for the ECW championship. The number 1 contender for CM Punk's World Heavy Weight Championship is JBL,who on monday night Raw teamed up with Chrish Jericho to defeat Punk. Also The Great Khali will be taking on HHH for the WWE championship. Khali was declared the winner out of a 6 man Battle Royal. With The big guns battling it out it seems that the Intercontinental Championship which once boasted of the greatest rivalries had faded down with mid carders and baby faces fighting for it. The same goes for the US Championship and the tag team championships....Well what are your comments...Just put them down. Summer Slam is one of the most prestigious events of the WWE after all.
  10. The World Wrestling Federation recently held their 8th pay-per-view of the year in the form of The Great American Bash. The event whose origins date back to the World Championship of Wrestling( WCW), a rival then later acquired by the wwf/wwe was a lackluster event this time. Once famous for the battles involving the United States Championship and the world heavy weight championship, the event has lost most of it's charm. Even last year there was a buzz regarding the event..but this year it was simply worthless...No Randy Orton...no Undertaker and no Rick Flair...also the Big Show and Rey Mysterio didn't compete..neither did the great Khali and to make matters worse the Boss Vince Mcmohan was absent. The matches didn't have any quality...Matt Hardy dropping the title to a novice like Shelton Benjamin and Batista taking on C.M.punk couldn't invoke much interest. Yeah John Cena and Jbl and Triple H versus Edge was a good watch...but not what you expect at a major PPV...even the promos cut prior to the event wasn't worth creating a hype. Shawn Michaels taking on Chris Jericho was modest at the best. It's high time that wwe again re-considers it's strategy for PPV'S or else TNA (Total non-stop action) another rival run by former WWE star Jeff Jarret might just beat wwe in the Ratings.......ECW championship...was any one concerned by the way???...Put in your comments as to what you think regarding the show...
  11. Alright has anyone here listened carefully to the background music that is played when a wrestler makes his entry to the ring. Well the music is called a titanthron. Every wrestler has one specified for themselves. They are excellent to hear. Whether it is the Deadman's (Undertaker) tune or John Cena's Rap every titanthron is worth listening, the reason they are made by professionals. Limp Bizkit, creed scorpion are the ones who makes them. Put in your comments as to what you feel about these titanthrons.

Why on earth would you want to watch a pathetic film. It is better that you wait for the new one to release.
  13. I don't know how good he is as an director but his acting abilities has been proved in films like Pearl Harbour and Paycheck. I didn't like Gigli though.
  14. Well the reviews weren't all that good ,so I didn't see it.A couple of my friends did see it and said there was nothing special compared to the earlier Indiana Jones flick.Yes Harrison Ford as usual does stand out.
