I think one of a few people who preferred Bruno around this time and his first album. I still like him but ever since the release of the 2nd album / singles I'm all “meh” with his output, love this song. Oh yeah and Travie is also on the track ha ha

Hard to not like this guy, while not a huge fan, I appreciate he has had some great songs, this is an ok song spoilt by Flo Rida in my opinion.

Royals - Love it or hate it, it's fair to say that it is now considered as a modern classic
Your Song - Never got in to it (The Ellie version that is)
I need your love - It was within my personal Top 20 of that year
Play Hard - Awful cover
Smoke gets in your eyes - Classic 10/10
Crazy for you - Amazing, song still gives me goosebumps
Run - A rare situation when an already great song, is covered and the result is even greater. When I think of the best covers, this always comes to my mind
So Macho - Serves is purpose, good pop song
Running - Great production, I feel it deserved to be bigger than it was

I'm really not a fan of 'End Of The Road', glad I wasn't around at the time as I imagine it would've really got annoying from being everywhere and having a massively long top 40 run for its time.Lol at 'So Macho' being here. I've just looked up its chart run and it appears it spent a lot of time under the top 40 before smashing, must've got a re-release at some point.
And yeah that's how a lot of songs worked in the 80s, low entry then climb to their peak

Easily one of the biggest group of the 90s in America, not so much over here but this certainly is a classic ballad of that era, I remember the video being cheesy even back then, great song though. The “talking” bit always made be laugh to.

I really like Runnin and think Beyoncé sounds good on it, unlike most of her own recent songs.
Leona's cover of Run is amongst my all time favourite covers, stunning.
Love Crazy For You, classic Madonna. I like almost all Madonna's done except for her last few albums.
I kinda agree with the Madonna thing but songs like "Ghostown" remind me of how amazing she can be
I'm gonna go with #96 for Bleeding Love.Not even close ha ha

I feel it was standard pop covers like that being successful that was the first hint she was turning into a mainstream hoe :( Though Halcyon did come before that to at least prolong her interesting phase <3Been AGES since the last long Dannyboy countdown, very excited to see this back *.* Will try and follow as much as possible,
I wonder how high the likes of Frankie Laine/Wet Wet/Bryan Adams will be, I recall them having quite quick exits after their mammoth run at number 1 was up

Lorde just barely scraping in but thank goodness she did! :cheer: I never liked 'Play Hard' either, that and 'Royals' are basically the worst and best of 2013 respectively.She will fall out next week when the new chart is announced

Royals - It's ok but not really one I listen to much now, never really got Lorde either.
Friendly Persuasions - Not my kind of thing but probably good back in the day.
I Need Your Love - I love Ellie's voice and like I Need Your Love, personally I prefer their other collab Outside though.
Your Song - I love Elton John's original and nothing could come close in my opinion but I do think Ellie did a good job here.
Play Hard - I do like some of Guetta's songs but not a fan of this one. I do like the Alice Deejay original though!

Terrible Top 10 run but it certainly did pick up and stick around for a while, its not one of favourite songs by them, I can take or leave it but probably more leave it, they have a lot better.

well I guess we don't look for the same things in Ellie Goulding.I never loved 'Love Me Like You Do', though it's a solid 7/10 it's not something I go back to and she has many better songs in her discography.

you're thinking of Alice Deejay 'Better Off Alone', which is approx 1000 times better than 'Play Hard' - one of a few weak points in Guetta's career.

Play Hard is great! I really liked it when it came out in 2013 and it to this day remains as one of David's best in my personal opinion.Love this so far, Dannyboy ;)
