Hi Placebo fans/lovers/obssessors, I’m doing this fab top 20 radio show on Placebo. Basically, you the fans vote for your favourite Placebo tracks ever (hard yes I know), this can be album tracks, singles, remixes, b-sides, covers etc etc. And all the votes are compiled to make a top 20 chart which will be played out as a 2 hour show on Saturday 30th August 10 til midnight BST. I don’t claim to know everything about Placebo or be the biggest fan ever BUT I wanted to pay tribute to them as they got me through the hardest times of my teenage years (as corny as that sounds). They were the first band I obsessed about and I fell head over heels with Brian Molko (haven’t we all!) so they hold some very fond memories for me. From all the Placebo gigs I’ve ever been to, I’ve found Placebo fans to be the nicest and friendliest I’ve ever come across, looking out for each other and stuff, so I’d be honoured if you could all go vote and take a look at the back catalogue I’ve put up and see if there’s anything wrong there or anything I’ve missed out. Remember, the more votes, the better the chart! Plus we’ve gotta beat the Muse top 20 earlier this year which got 1’171 votes. WE CAN BEAT THIS!!
