They were bound to be worried, there could have beena huge amount of backlash, but I think they've definately pulled it off, I like the sound of this album more from what I've heard :D

Nobody's blaming Girls Aloud really, but it's the sort of song they resort to usually, they always seem to be doing covers. It also sounds more like a Girls Aloud song imo, it's got cheap production Fair enough that it's for charity, but they should have made sure they do a decent cover, after all if it's decent it will sell more

For singles probably: 01: Run For Cover - just a class song, this should have done alot better 02: Freak Like Me 03: Overload My 3 worst singles would be: 01: Walk This Way 02: Follow Me Home 03: In The Middle I don't think they've had a classic song, like All Saints have had Never Ever and Pure Shores, they've got potential though to have songs in the future as well remembered as those 2

I'm not a buff on Mod music, I just know that alot of it is f***ing brilliant (imo) I'll do some research on some of those above that I don't have music by :D

Ronson could well be no.1 overall if he's at no.2 and no.18 :D Arctic Monkeys should be top 10 in the overall chart this weekend, I'm surprised how much their downloads have kept up

I didn't think popularity bars work like that I thought for example, if you search The Feeling, Never Be Lonely has a full bar, but if you search Mark Ronson and Timbaland both Stop Me and GITM have full bars, but NBL isn't selling as many downloads as that, so it's not how popular they are overall, but how popular they are in comparison to that artist's other songs

How do we know if Timbaland is close to over-taking Ronson, they've been like that since about Thrusday/Friday now I hope Stop Me holds on anyways :D

Exactly, 50 Cent musically is p*** poor but it's all about image and who can afford the most expensive videos It seems good though, that British people are searching for deeper, credible music (Arctic Monkeys) I can only think of Girls Aloud as the only traditionally manufactured UK act troubling the charts at the moment. But we'll end up with a saturated market of indie bands that 90% sound the same, ready for some other genre to make it's move :lol:

Their latest album has sold over 5,000,000 in the USA, but no we don't because we've got plenty of good bands, I don't understnd why this kind of soft rock is so big in America, it all sounds the same I do like The Fray though :o

I've only got Brianstorm, 505, and the b-side Temptation... so far but I like this sound alot better, I liked their last album but I didn't think it was amazing and I wasn't really arsed about the hype surrounding them But this one sounds tip-top so far, I'll need to here the whole album first :cheer:

They're right to be slamming Hip Hop, well the American stuff is really bad, no originality at all, it's just about who's had the most brushes with the law. 50 Cent has to be one of the worst rappers/lyricists EVER There is exceptions though with Eminem and Kanye West. In fact Kanye West struggled to get a proper record deal for years because nobody would touch him as an artist as he wasn't gangster enough :mellow: British Hip Hop doesn't get enough praise though, but for some reason we'd rather listen to Americans :(
