RuPaul's Drag Race • Season 10
Aquaria and Kameron turned it the f**k out this week! Their performances were AMAZING, and they both looked incredible on the runway. Eureka and Asia were a snooze. As much as I love Kameron, Aquaria is quite clearly the most deserving winner.

RuPaul's Drag Race • Season 10
Yeah, you can never trust the edit of the show nowadays. Half the time the reaction shots we see aren't for the person we've just seen in the shot before anyway. I wish they'd just use a full stage shot of the lip sync and not cut away to reactions, so we can see the performers in full and the other queens in the background.

RuPaul's Drag Race • Season 10
See I didn't get that. I thought she was still performing well in the 3rd one. Though I wonder if she thought all hope was lost at that point - up for the 3rd time and against Cracker, who nobody would have expected to go home at that point. But then when it turned out that Cracker wasn't really doing that much, she did a little bit more towards the end to try to amp it up.

Definitely the right top 5, but Infinity War would be number 1 for me now. Not sure what that would push out though. Probably Winter Soldier for me. I couldn't lose Ragnarok - it's so fantastic.

RuPaul's Drag Race • Season 10
Yeah I can't disagree with the lack of actual wow moments. That's fair. But I have been surprised with her lip syncs though. I've really enjoyed them. That's where she's come alive so far and she's definitely a better lip sync performer than her overall quiet manner would lead you to believe.

RuPaul's Drag Race • Season 10
I'm definitely in the minority but I'm really glad Kameron is still in it. I think there's something really likeable about her, and I thought she looked great last week. Eureka on the other hand - good lord above, that good twin outfit, sheesh. Kameron is also a really good performer. Thought she was great in the Cher challenge and her lip syncs have been brilliant. I'd much rather see her at the very end of this than Eureka.

Most Hyped Trailer Premiering This Week?
Rumours are we're getting A Star Is Born today. The hype from those that have seen it is huge and it's being tipped for all kinds of awards season glory. I'm really really looking forward to seeing the trailer.

Australia · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
I can't get over this getting paid absolute dust in the vote. What is wrong with people? This is a solid gold banger. Granted, her vocal on the night was not her best (and she looked like she'd been out on the lash for a week straight), but you can't deny the song. This was robbed.

Britain’s Got Talent 2018
Just seen that the official BGT Twitter announced it so I took the spoiler tags off. They're good but I'd have preferred Mandy too. And I really don't want a DVJ win. The comedians are so good this year, but yeah it'll be difficult for one of them to pull ahead on a split vote.

Me. EDIT: Never mind, it's widely available online. B-Positive Choir for anyone that wants to know.

Concerts
I've been to a decent number of gigs, but don't get to them as often as I'd like now that I've got a wee one and a lack of babysitters. They also vary wildly in genre, but variety is the spice of life and all that. Travis Meat Loaf (2 tours) Eminem/Marilyn Manson/Papa Roach and various other late 90s rock/rap artists at Gig on the Green in Glasgow. Stereophonics Chumbawamba AFI Westlife (this was not my choice - it was a present for my partner of the time. I really should have known then to get rid of him). Spice Girls Girls Aloud (2 tours) X Factor (3 tours) Kerry Ellis Robyn Leona Lewis Kylie (2 tours) Lady Gaga (4 tours) Steps

Safe
This was enjoyable enough. Michael's English accent was really jarring at the start but he settled in to it well enough. It wasn't groundbreaking but it kept me interested enough to want to know what happened, even if the last episode was just a case of chucking everything at us.

The Good Fight
This is still my absolute favourite show at the moment. Every single person is fantastic in it and the writing is razor sharp. From the preview, this week's episode looks like an absolute blinder.

Marvel Cinematic Universe: Rate Results
If it's a Phase 3 one next, I'd drop GOTG2. It just wasn't a patch on the original in any way. Suspect it might be Dr Strange though, which is a shame. It's really good.

I hope Thor manages to stay in. I've got a soft spot for the first one, I really enjoy it. Not surprised Dark World is out already though, it's hugely underwhelming. I'd go for Cap 1 next. I've always struggled to make it through a viewing. It's so boring.

RESULTS: RuPaul's Drag Race: Queen Rate 2018
God I love Alaska. She's utterly batshit bonkers. It's incredible to see her growth from season 5, where she really didn't start out that great, to completely dominating All Stars 2. At times, it felt like she was the seasoned pro, guest starring to show them all how it was done. She has star power in spades. And god, she's so funny! Everyone left is so strong at something, but the only ones I really feel are on Alaska's level are Katya, Bianca and Shangela. Alyssa is hysterically funny, but falls just behind the others for me. I just don't like Jinkx (sorry!) and I think Ben is overrated, despite doing so well at the start of AS3.

Yeah Joe that's pretty much exactly how I feel.- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
And it just gets better. Disney under-estimated all the box office numbers, so it actually did $258.1m domestically and $382.8m internationally, for a $641m first weekend. Incredible. I also saw it for a second time today and it was every bit as spectacular as it was the 1st time. Just astonishing.- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
Yeah that really won't happen, but it should easily manage a 3x multiplier for $750m. It might even reach $800m. The international numbers are fantastic too though, considering it has only opened in around 70% of markets so far. China is still to come (Age of Ultron opened to $155m there).- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
Just saw the numbers. It's a pity it fell short of the Friday single day record or it would have had a clean sweep, as it now has the biggest Saturday, Sunday, Opening Weekend and Worldwide Weekend in history. It's coming for the remaining records too. It will be the fastest to $1 billion without a shadow of a doubt and, if it holds well, could challenge Avatar for the domestic number 2 spot. It's not impossible for it to beat out The Force Awakens, but $950m domestically is a ridiculously tall order. Astonishing. But so deserved.- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
I won't venture into spoiler territory at all but there was one character that was nowhere to be seen and it didn't really make any sense. Unless I missed something from their most recent movie that hints at where they would be. I really don't think so though. And yes, the after-credits scene was fantastic!- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
Oh. My. Christ. I still feel emotionally exhausted by it and I saw it several hours ago. There’s really very little that any review can say without giving away even the slightest thing, other than this isn’t a movie. It’s an event. It’s epic and utterly astonishing. And it’s very funny. It will be essential to see it more than once. If your emotions can take it.- 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
So it screened in full last night for the first time. The first reactions are overwhelmingly positive - "epic beyond compare", "masterpiece" and "heart-stopping" just to pick a few. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a movie in my whole life. Thursday can't come quickly enough.- 'The Greatest Showman' | Jan 2018
I've watched this a lot over the last couple of days. It is exceptional. This is still the song for me. - 'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
