RESULTS: Buzzjack's Top Musical Films Of All Time
As much as I love it, Dirty Dancing surely shouldn't be here. None of the songs are performed. It's just a movie with an amazing soundtrack. Little Shop of Horrors better sweep the board here. It's a stone cold classic.

Steps - Party on the Dancefloor 2017 Tour
Oh god yes!! Colour me shocked at No More Tears proper going OFF! I skip that when I'm playing the album but the live version banged my socks off.

RESULTS: Buzzjack's Top Musical Films Of All Time
Oh god yes. Muppets Christmas Carol is incredible. I've just bought the DVD to put in my 4 year old's Christmas Eve suitcase delivery, so this will be his first time seeing it. He better love it or there will be trouble. I missed the initial vote on this one, but I'm a bit perplexed at how the results have gone so far if I'm being honest. So many so far that I'd have placed much higher.

Bin them immediately.

Steps - Party on the Dancefloor 2017 Tour
I was at Thursday's show in Glasgow too. It was probably one of the best shows I've ever seen and I've been to a lot of concerts. It was genuinely rammed with absolute bangers and the vocals - good lord, they've never sounded better. Everyone was good but Claire was just astonishingly brilliant. The part where they pointed out the guy wearing a t-shirt with H's naked Attitude photo on it was so funny. Those moments when they were having a genuine moment with the crowd were so sweet. They all came across so well. Really humble and obviously having the time of their lives up there. We were down at the front so could see every little smirk and laugh each time they interacted with each other. It just made the whole experience so much more enjoyable to see them having such a great time. The arrangements of the tracks was really spectacular too. Steve did an amazing job reworking some of them and I NEED that version of in my life. That could legitimately be a smash for them now and I about wept when I heard it starting. It was an absolute highlight. For a group like them to be on their very best form 20 years into their career is incredible.

Big Little Lies
I'm torn about this getting a second season. I'm glad because this cast was so good that I wanted to see more, but it doesn't feel necessary. It was a story told so perfectly in a short season, with no filler episodes, that I can't see it having the same impact next time.

Thor: Ragnarok
Finally saw this and oh my Christ it was fantastic. Marvel top 5 for me. Blanchett was outstanding. She's just perfect. I don't think I've ever said I didn't like her in anything she's done. What a woman. Korg was a total scene-stealer. I laughed so much. The humour in general was spot-on though. This is one that I'll watch multiple times. They got it so right.

"One More Sleep" • Christmas Classic In The Making
So she's top 60 when combined on iTunes and top 50 again on Spotify. She should be good for a decent jump on the official charts this week. Definitely outperforming the last few years.

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● THE FINAL
How is having the current biggest artists performing their current singles "recycling the same shit"? I don't understand this view at all. With our lack of music shows nowadays, I look forward to some of the guest performances as they're the only chance we get to see some artists do huge performances of big tracks. Some of the X Factor guest performances have turned out to be some of my favourite ever, like Leona's Run for example. It's certainly far more interesting than listening to another dull interview with contestants where they tell us how amazing the experience is and how grateful they are for the millionth time.

Can't disagree with any of that really. Seems likely either way.

SPOILERS ● The X Factor ● Series 14
As much as I do think Rak-Su will win this easily, surely all interest in what they're going to release is gone now. Their songs sound literally identical. I get that they're pretty much a finished product and ready to go, but good lord, we've had nearly a whole album's worth of material out of them already and I don't think I could distinguish between 2 tracks. Though I'm not her biggest fan (something about her personality really turns me off) at least Grace has shown diversity in her material.

And a meticulous backing track vocal.

'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
Not quite as many but Robert Englund has played Freddy Krueger 8 times too. But yeah, I cannot wait for the next trailer. And I know I'm not going to be emotionally prepared for losing our Avengers over these next 2 movies. Oh lord, it's going to be gut-wrenching.

'Avengers: Infinity War' | APR 2018
The trailer is absolutely, 100% epic. I got chills. This isn't going to be just a movie. It'll be an event. But I'm even more excited at what's to come in the next trailer. There are some amazing scenes from the original leaked footage that aren't in this one.

Joanne • One Year On ~ relive the ERA
The Super Bowl is her greatest live moment. It really was everything. After some people wrote her off after Joanne came out (PopGa is no more!!) there she was, giving the biggest pop performance of her career, with an amazing stage, fantastic choreo, great outfits and LIVE vocals. I was genuinely in utter awe when I watched it live. It was more than I expected and I felt the biggest swell of absolute pride at what she'd just done. She absolutely, no doubt about it, nailed it and cemented her reputation as a force of nature when it comes to live performance ability.

Buzzjack's Top Horror Films Of All Time: The Results
Pretty surprised that Scream 3 finished higher than 4. I love the movies, but 3 is the low point for me. It feels like it had become a parody of itself and the acting is really atrocious. 4 was much better. I also love the Conjuring movies. The first one is the best by a country mile and it would be way higher on my list. It has some fantastically creepy moments before it goes all batshit crazy towards the end. I'm dismayed at the Scary Movie films finishing so high. In fact, I wouldn't even consider them horror movies so I'd exclude them altogether. It's not that I don't like some of them (the first 2 or 3 are pretty funny) but they are absolutely not better horror movies than some of the films they've beaten here. Really looking forward to the rest now.

Project Runway / All-Stars / Junior / Under the Gunn
Well that didn't go the way I expected at all, but kudos to him, his collection was fantastic. Must admit, I did cackle at Brandon only coming 3rd after being set up as the saviour of fashion for the whole season. His collection was appalling. Everything looked exactly the same and that print.......sheesh. I was a bit meh at Ayana's to be honest. Her first few looks were absolutely hideous and couldn't have been less flattering. The final dress was beautiful but nothing in between got me very excited. Also, hello to Margarita!! Damn, I loved her collection. I'd have been ok with her winning the whole thing after that to be honest. It was so vibrant and exciting and some of the more tailored pieces were gorgeous! She deserved higher than 4th. Probably 2nd in my opinion.

Summer of Steps 2018 Tour
You should look up some of their tours and gigs from the last few years. It'll all be live.

American Horror Story: Cult
They've really turned Ally from the absolute worst to the potentially best character in the last couple of episodes. I've liked some of this season, but it doesn't feel like AHS. I still feel like there's something missing (the horror perhaps?) and the whole season just feels so small compared to some of the others. Also, considering the overall arc of the series is to cross over, this one feels very insulated. Given that the last couple of seasons have had little cameos from previous characters, this one feels a little out of step now. EDIT: Thanks to Dexton's post below, I realise I stupidly overlooked Twisty as the crossover character.

Project Runway / All-Stars / Junior / Under the Gunn
It's impossible to see passed a Brandon win at this point. I haven't minded his designs actually, but that flamingo print is god-awful. I do like some of Ayana's collection. The outfit Meisha was wearing was fantastic.

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● Live Shows Week 3
They were never going to be everyone's cup of tea but Jack and Joel definitely deserved to stay over Sean and Connor and Matt. Vocally Jack is really strong and I've liked them way more than I expected to. I just do not understand the appeal of Sean and Connor. They sound absolutely horrific. Kevin was in an entirely differently league. He deserved that win.

Savage  But also true.

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● Live Shows Week 2
Agreed Liam. That's one of the things that really irks me with them in particular - the amount of pre-recorded vocals on their tracks is ridiculous. They sing practically none of the chorus (and when they're miming along it's glaringly obvious). I know the solo singers have backing vocals etc, but it feels so cheaty when vocal groups with multiple members don't even sing their harmonies live. I am not here for that nonsense.

My Favourite TV Characters 2008-2017
Obviously it's all down to personal taste, but Vera Farmiga's Norma would 100% be on my list. She was absolutely exceptional and stole every scene she was in without even having to say anything. I get why you've excluded anthology series too. But I'd definitely have included Sister Jude from AHS: Asylum. Her character arc was incredible and I couldn't take my eyes off Jessica Lange. She is electric. Her character in season 3 was also incredible. She had some fantastic one liners. Great idea for a thread though. I'll be following this one with interest.

UK Ratings Discussion Thread 2017
X Factor again drawing less than Pointless Celebrities. That is dire.
