  1. I really enjoyed it. I totally understand it won't be everyone's cup of tea, given that there's no big action until the last half hour, but I really enjoyed it. The first 5 minutes are a brilliant touch and a neat way to give a valuable bit of backstory. There is a lot of character development going on, but it was necessary I think. I like that these Rangers don't know how to fight, don't know how to control their zords at first and don't really accept what they're being told at first. I liked Rita. I thought she was particularly nasty in the first half of the movie. She's pretty vicious. Alpha 5 and Zordon were done well too, and I really liked the ship/training centre/zord lair. The zords themselves were fantastic too. I think some parts of this are potentially intense for younger viewers. Spoilers follow:
  2. I hate it. It sucks the life out of the chorus for me. It just makes it feel so empty. The is the perfect example of a song I don't need a remix of, I just need an extended mix.

They're really working hard to make everyone a possible suspect this time around. Which is both clever and extremely frustrating. I absolutely do not want it to be I've also changed my mind about my first prime suspect from my previous post.
  4. Changeling. Whoopi Goldberg.
  5. Watched Autopsy of Jane Doe last night. It was brilliant and not at all what I expected.
  6. I've never seen "...Jane Doe" but your description really intrigued me. I've downloaded it for later. I'm not going to watch any trailers though. I want to go in with no other ideas about it other than what you've written.

I'm 4 episodes in and this is incredible. The best roles many of this amazing cast have played in a very long time. Reese, Nicole and Laura are the standouts and Alexander is incredibly frightening. The child actors are absolutely superb too. The whole thing's really amazing.
  8. The video's out on the 7th April. I'd imagine they'll use that to coincide with the first performances to push promo for the album release on the 21st.

Surely the prime suspect would have to be the
  10. They definitely needed big playlist support. As it stands, they'll possibly be top 10 on sales all week, after spending a whole day at number 1, and still only barely scrape top 40.
  11. Non-existent. They got just over 50k streams on the first day and entered at #141, but then left the top 200 the next day, meaning they got less than 37k.
  12. Actually not that far off. They're both 600-700k but Born This Way sold more. However, Judas was the 2nd single in that campaign anyway. It managed just over 300k.
  13. Haha that triggered me a bit... Legend for Tom. Charlize Theron.
  14. Sigh <_< Fair enough.... Forrest Gump :D Morgan Freeman.
  15. We've had Tom Hanks - pick again!
  16. Good lord, you do love it. I don't know how many times I've listened to it now but it just gets better and better. It's a solid gold pop banger of epic proportions and easily one of their very best ever singles. And from a group with such a stellar singles record, that's really astonishing. I'm now praying to all the Gods I don't believe in that they don't completely ruin it with a terrible video and cringey dance moves. I'm hoping they have a team that's getting them ready for that triumphant first live performance.
  17. I'll tell you something, that chorus is a stunner. The thumping bassline, the incredible melody, Claire's vocal. And holy hell, that key change is life affirming.
  18. Of those three, India has to win. It would be a complete shambles if it was either of the other two. I do not see CoryAnne's appeal whatsoever. She's completely bland, doesn't take amazing pictures and I thought her commercial was easily the worst. Courtney on the other hand looked like a model from head to toe. She might be a sandwich short of a picnic sometimes, but she absolutely nailed it when it came to modelling. I also liked her commercial. India's was fantastic though. I find her quite annoying but she's easily the best of a bad bunch now.

The first 2 episodes of this were brilliant. I went in a bit hesitant but I'm totally hooked already. Absolutely top notch.
  20. This whole episode was so strange. Why put them in those high fashion outfits, using a variety of backdrops, if the shoot was for a pure, face-only, beauty shot? And what was with the whole Universal Studios segment? They even used stock footage of a video tour advertisement for the Harry Potter world. It felt like one big sponsored advert.
  21. Oh goodness we'll have to disagree on that one :P Garner's a difficult one though. If TV shows were allowed, it'd be Alias all the way, but I'll go for 13 Going On 30. It's one of my guilty pleasures  Sandra Bullock.
  22. He was perfection in the Lord of the Rings trilogy (it's impossible to pick one). They couldn't have chosen a better Gandalf. He's a wonderful actor. Angelina Jolie.
  23. Makes sense she's well painted, because I've heard she comes in like she's a contestant (I'm guessing she might have something covering her face) and then Ru reveals who she is. Which is amazing. Also, judging by the very slight height difference between her and Ru in that picture, I'm guessing she's got on some KILLER heels, because Ru normally towers over her.

Saw this last night. Wow. Stunning. Loved every minute of it. I was totally immersed in it and though we kind of guessed the twist quite early, it didn't spoil anything. This one definitely warrants repeat viewing. And it's refreshing to watch an alien movie where the focus is something a little more intelligent and thought provoking, and not just about how gross they can look or how cool their space ship is.
  25. He was already in the 1st movie, playing Pine's dad, George Kirk. If you liked Beyond you'll love the first 2, as it's definitely the worst one.
