  1. Gale is such a great character. It helps that Cox played her perfectly. Other picks are: Sydney Prescott (Scream) Freddy Krueger (Elm Street) The Bride (Kill Bill) Elle Driver (Kill Bill) Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) Terry Doolittle (Jumpin Jack Flash) Deloris Van Cartier (Sister Act) Annie Wilkes (Misery) Beetlejuice All great characters, but also some because they were played perfectly. No doubt I'll think of loads more.

  3. So many to choose from, but that sequence from Scream 2 is superb. Scream's opening is obviously iconic as well, and for good reason. The Sixth Sense - there's a scene towards the end of the movie where Toni and Haley are sitting in their car, stuck in traffic, where he reveals his secret to her and the slow realisation that he's telling the truth sets in. Toni plays that scene so beautifully, it still gives me goosebumps. I can't take my eyes off of her. She's incredible. Toy Story 3 - the entire sequence from the incinirator to the end of the movie is perfection. The Matrix - Morpheus' rescue, culminating in the helicopter scene and Tank staring in disbelief, saying "I knew it. He's the one." Amazing. I'll think of more later.

Well from what we saw in the Comic Con footage, they do a pretty good job of making him a lot less pretty.

100% agree that Evelyn is the best thing about this show (and about a hundred other shows she's not even in). What a fantastic character.
  6. Beauty And The Beast v Frozen 101 Dalmatians v The Incredibles Big Hero 6 v Shrek The LEGO Movie v A Bug's Life The Lion King v Aladdin Toy Story 3 v Finding Nemo The Hunchback Of Notre Dame v Toy Story Cars v WALL.E

As far as teasers go, that's pretty perfect. The Comic-Con trailer was amazing.

  9. Yes, Cilla has passed away. I wouldn't be at all suprised to see a big surge in sales for her, as many reports will be playing her music or clips of her singing. Natural causes apparently, but I'm still a bit shocked. She seemed extremely healthy for her age. Shame.
  10. It's getting harder to choose now. Definitely Phoenix this time, for me, but I've no idea what I'll choose next if that goes. I've seen it said so many times that DH Part 1 is a good lead in to the finale but not a good movie on its own, but I really disagree. It's so good and has some incredible moments. Granted, it's not as good as the last movie, or Azkhaban, but I think I'll struggle separating it from Goblet of Fire in this rate.
  11. You can change my vote to Big Hero 6 if that would help. I should have voted for that.
  12. Really? I'd say at least half were really difficult  I feel quite inferior now!
  13. 17's one of the ones I had to look at a few films for but I found a photo of him in that outfit, otherwise I'd never have gotten that one.
  14. So it is. Surprised nobody else chose it. Garner was incredible in it.
  15. Done. That was really really difficult though. Once I'd decided who the actor/actress was, it was sometimes just a case of looking through their filmography to find what I thought was the right film. I'm not sure I've got 2 or 3 of them right but I should get at least half points for them. Some of them are really obscure! You're tricky Regina!
  16. Fixed that :D I'm kind of shocked Dark Lady made it so high. I absolute hate it. Never liked it. I'm clearly in a very small minority though! Expect Strong Enough next, followed by Gypsies. I actually find Turn Back Time to be overplayed and overrated, so would really like I Found Someone to be top 2.
  17. Totally agree with a lot of this. The Sixth Sense is a gorgeous movie. The scene in the car with Toni Collette where she realises Cole is telling the truth and she slowly starts to cry is so beautifully acted it gives me goosebumps every time. Toni is absolutely incredible. Depending what goes next, Big Hero 6, X-Men DOFP then Mockingjay 1 will probably get my votes. They're not bad by any stretch of the imagination, they just don't quite stack up to the blockbusters that are left, all of which I've seen multiple times. I'm genuinely confused at Return Of The King being tied on most votes for this round though. Like, what??? We should easily go another 10 rounds at least before any of the LOTR movies are voted out.
  18. I think I'm the only one to nominate Alias :o It's probably in my top 5 of all time as well. How disappointing.
  19. I absolutely adore Forrest Gump. The book is fantastic too.
  20. Beauty And The Beast v Ice Age 2 Ice Age v Finding Nemo Shrek v Shrek 2 Madagascar 3 v Cars Happy Feet v Toy Story 3 Monsters Inc v WALLE Over The Hedge v 101 Dalmatians Toy Story 2 v Frozen Shrek 4 v Big Hero 6 Pocahontas v The Hunchback Of Notre Dame The Lion King v Ratatouille Wreck It Ralph v A Bug's Life Kung Fu Panda v The LEGO Movie Madagascar v Toy Story The Incredibles v Monsters University Tangled v Aladdin
  21. I see. That's quite interesting I suppose. I've not read the books, although it's something I've been meaning to do for a long time, so I'm looking at it as a movie, carrying on a story. I've no idea what might be missing or different. Well that answers that then. Best get reading.
  22. Chamber without hesitation. I'm starting to wonder what I'm seeing in Azkhaban that other people are not? To me, it's a stunning movie. It's also got a 91% aggregated review on Rotten Tomatoes, 2nd only to DH2. I can't for one second even fathom how anyone could prefer Chamber of Secrets over it. I struggle to watch Chamber now as I can't see past the atrocious acting. Not from the kids either, but from Christian Coulson. He hams it up to the point of no return. It just makes me cringe every time. The last time I decided to watch all the movies, I skipped Chamber altogether.
  23. Love and Understanding and Dead Ringer are solid gold. I'm probably one of Meat Loaf's biggest fans so I'm completely biased but that song is a beast. No wrong answers from here on out though. Everything else is incredible. I Found Someone better be at least top 3 though. I wouldn't even mind if it wins, it's epic. Pity I forgot to vote.
  24. Peanut butter and jam is weirdly nice. I always thought it sounded vile, but it's not. It's strange though. Admittedly the thought of it with actual jelly is gross, but that's not what it means.
  25. I like Avatar, even if it's mainly for the 3D visuals, which are stunning. Titanic again for me.
