  1. Ok, is this thread dead in the water then?
  2. Idina at 28, 207 and 519 now. Outstanding.
  3. Nice to see Cheek To Cheek heading right back to the top 20 this week. Number 16 in the midweeks but has the potential to climb quite a bit further given they were on Radio 1 this morning.
  4. Cheryl's managed to stay remarkably steady in the mid 200's for the last few days. I expected the pre-order to drop a lot further than that. Hope she gets another 100k+ opening week for number 1.
  5. As much as I'd like this to happen, I can't see it. It's nowhere to be seen on the charts now, and album sales are so low that it might not even be selling 100 copies a week. It could be selling even less than that! Given that it's about 95,000 sales short, reaching platinum would be an absolute miracle.
  6. No it wasn't. She was defending the song choice, saying it's one of the most Shazam'd tracks at the moment. It's being used in an advert.
  7. Next week could go either way really. All About That Bass is likely to have a good week, due to a certain Saturday night show, and Taylor should get a massive boost too. Shake It Off's consistency is remarkable to me. Mainly because I think it's one of the most vile songs I've heard this year. It's just dreadful garbage. On another note, I'm finding it quite amusing that Idina is sitting pretty at number 41 with 5 dark green updates in a row. If Let It Go is played or performed on X Factor in the next few weeks, I can see it being the start of another marathon run in the top 40. Roll on "Movies Week"!!

What? Have you actually listened to it at all? It's about as far from a ballad as you can get. Number 1 for both for me. I love it.
  9. Ah, Whoopi, how I love that woman. I will never be ashamed to say that Jumpin' Jack Flash is one of my favourite movies of all time. She is absolutely fantastic in it, and delivers some of the best one liners of her career. Also, Sister Act never gets old. Whoopi and Maggie Smith together? As nuns? I'm sold.
  10. Understood :) Appreciate that you're putting an awful lot of effort into it.
  11. At the rate she's selling, wouldn't that take her more than 10 years? And that's assuming sales don't eventually just dip off completely. Then again, her new album may well give 21 a boost again.
  12. Pleased to see Vera and Jen Garner here. Love them both. Jen deserves it purely for Alias, which is my favourite show ever. I've seen it from start to finish more than 5 times. It's amazing. I don't think Vera gets enough credit actually. She's a wonderful actress. So natural that you forget she's acting. It's just an inherent ability for her to completely embody a role. She's fantastic. I'm enjoying the results so thanks for doing them but it would be nice if we could get them a little quicker though! This thread's been going for months and there wasn't even that many voters was there? Oh just seen that Christine has been added. I like her a lot, mainly because I love The Good Wife, which she is great in. Can't say I'm a big fan of her movie career though.
  13. I'm shocked they didn't release Sheridan's versions. Surely someone must have seen that opportunity! I'd imagine they must be thinking about it now that Cilla's version is charting. Hope they do, I love Sheridan.
  14. I was certainly no fan of her but I did feel a little sorry for Sandhya getting upset like that. However, that outfit she made was absolutely shocking and deserved to send her home. I frigging love Project Runway. Have been watching since the very beginning. No designer this season is a patch on some of the best from previous years though. I'd like Amanda to win this one.
  15. I definitely wouldn't object to that! It has actually hung around a lot longer than I thought it would anyway, but a nice little boost would be lovely. I'm also in the minority who want Let It Go to get an almighty boost too  Get that million seller, Idina.
  16. Expect "Say Something" to get another big boost tonight as it's being sung on X Factor by a former Judge's Home contestant. It's apparently an emotional audition and is the typical switching songs halfway through on the advice on the judges type affair.
  17. I think they're playing this well for Ella. She's got really good momentum, with a monster hit sitting pretty in the top 10, but in 3 weeks time it'll have dropped a little, so the attention will shift to Glow, which will hit big I think. Releasing it this early leaves it open for them to release another single during the X Factor live shows and give her a big performance slot. Pretty much guarantees a third smash from what will no doubt be a big album. Glow is definitely a grower. Wasn't hugely impressed on first listen but my god, when it's up loud, it's fantastic. Could do with some huge adlibs on the end chorus but it's still a brilliant follow up single. She's going to be massive.
  18. Lisa Kudrow is a great actress but Phoebe was such a wonderful character, played superbly, that it's difficult not to see shades of her in Lisa's other roles. I do really like her a lot though.

You're right gooddelta, the songs fit perfectly in the context of the film. I completely understand why people genuinely don't like them if they haven't seen the movie as they just don't make any kind of sense. For example, Do You Want To Build A Snowman is utterly heartbreaking in the movie, but I'd imagine it sounds silly and naff if you haven't seen Frozen. Let It Go remains an absolute monster of a song for me. That's just solid gold Disney magic right there.
  20. Damn. Kathy deserves more than that! Wonderful actress. Annie Wilkes is one of the best movie villains ever and she was played to absolute perfection. Insomnio you should definitely watch Delores Claiborne. It's fantastic. Well worth reading the book too though, it's great. Very interested to see where some of my higher rates have come in. I've been quite shocked at some of the actresses who received points so far (Selena Gomez, I'm side-eyeing you).
  21. First time checking Kworb today and I see Idina's on the climb again! She's got 2 in the top 100 and can't be far off top 20 really. Amazing. Also surprised but pleased that Cheryl hasn't plummeted yet. Wonder if she can manage 4 weeks top 5?
  22. No, she didn't. She was in a brief relationship with her co-star. She has said that if she were to fall in love with a woman, big deal, but she definitely hasn't married one.
  23. In what sense? And who are these people?
  24. Would like Cheryl at number 1, but also hope that Cher doesn't totally bomb. Sirens is fantastic and deserves a decent chart place.
  25. Just noticed that Cheryl's now at 27 and Rude is 25 so she has gained quite well in the last couple of hours. This is going to be close.
