The Circle • Series 2
Jan is so dull and a total waste of a space. I'd rather have kept Joyce over her. I do still like Ella, but I'm over all the brown nosing between her, Woody and Tim. I want scheming and plotting. I am 100% here for savage Sammie. James is hilarious.

The Circle • Series 2
I actually really like Beth now. Shame it wasn't Josh, who absolutely must be the next one to go.

The Circle • Series 2
Disappointed it's Woody. He's not going to make a controversial decision. It'll either be Joyce and Josh. Sammie or Ella would have definitely blocked one of the frontrunners.

The Circle • Series 2
I have a bit of a problem with Busayo's motives, purely because it makes no sense. She says she wanted to prove that a young, single, white male would be more popular than she would be as herself. But what's her basis for comparison. Had she already been in The Circle and blocked early, and then gone back in as Josh, I'd understand it. But as it stands, how does she know "Josh" is proving more popular than she would have? She might have been instantly liked by everyone. She'll never know, making her theory baseless. What has become clear is that Busayo is boring. She hasn't given "Josh" one ounce of personality and is instead just playing him as a cardboard cut out stereotype. She has no imagination and hasn't come across as very likeable at all. As for using Brooke as an example, you can't do that either, just because she's also a young, black woman. They're very different. Brooke had genuinely good moments, and that was reflected when she climbed up the rankings. But overall, she was as dull as ditch water if you look at only her replies in Circle Chat. We might have seen a reasonably sassy, fun side to her, but nobody else did. I'm not surprised she was blocked. EDIT: T Boy, you replied first while I was typing this, but we clearly feel the same about this. For me, the most entertaining are Ella, Woody and Sammie. All have bags of personality. I actually prefer James to "Sammie" as he's hilarious when he's talking about people for us. I genuinely hope he gets to be super influencer, just for the reaction of whoever he blocks. But I've got a funny feeling we're looking at Georgina blocking Tim. I just hope that they get told they need to block someone and need to make the choice and then find out they have to do it in person, so they're more likely to be really honest with the choice.

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions
The amount of track and pitch correction on Bars and Melody's performance was outrageous. They basically sounded like robots on the parts they did utter a sound, over the obvious track playing. No other singer would get away with that. What a load of crap. I'd have rather Collabro went through over them. Their vocals were outstanding, even if I felt they needed a deeper voice in there to give it a bit more depth at times. But I couldn't fault the harmonies, they were impeccable. I've seen Alex a few times now and I really struggle with him. Obviously it's really incredible what he does, but I don't find it fun to watch. He'd have still been more deserving than Bars and Melody though.

Round 7 • Black Mirror Survivor
I always see Playtest really low on rankings. I saw a fairly well respected publication putting it dead last. Madness. It's so underrated, I've never understood why people didn't love it.

Round 7 • Black Mirror Survivor
I feel personally offended that someone voted for San Junipero. I'm going to find this nearly impossible over the next few rounds. Some of these are truly some of the best episodes of any show, ever.

Your fave Quentin Tarantino film?
If you added Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, that would be my pick, as it was always intended to be one movie. It works so much better as a single, 4 hour epic, with some little adjustments here and there. I wish he'd do a blu-ray release, as the only one that ever got out is VHS quality.

Dance in the Dark vs. Marry the Night
I'm shocked DITD is winning this. It's a good song, but it doesn't even touch Marry The Night for me. That song is a behemoth. It's thunderous, epic, euphoric and probably one of the best song/video combos of all time. I couldn't imagine any of her peers convincingly pulling a song like that off. What an achievement and it'll forever be underrated in her discography.

Instant Hotel • Season 2
Yep, I instantly hated them both. Gene gave me the major creeps. They're hideous. But their hotel is unquestionably impressive, albeit with some odd choices in room layout. As for Jay or Justin. Both. The answer is both. At the same time. Woo lord.

Least Favourite Black Mirror Episode • Round 3
Smithereens and Black Museum for me. I maybe need to watch Museum again, but I was thoroughly underwhelmed by it. Though admittedly I don't remember that much about it now, other than the ending. It says something that everything above Museum on that list is now A+ material. I have no idea how I'm going to choose between some of them over the later rounds. The 2 newer ones will be the next to go for me, even though I did enjoy them.

Least Favourite Black Mirror Episode • Round 2
Smithereens for me. So dull. Save from good performances, there was no point in any of it. I thought we were going to get a twist of him wanting the CEO to access that dead girl's account to delete her messages as he was the one who'd caused her to commit suicide and he was freaking out the mum would eventually figure out the password and find out. The actual ending just felt....nothingy.

Wentworth Prison (UK Pace)
Doesn't bother me I'm watching it at Aus pace! I was more thinking about anyone else that might venture in here, not expecting spoilers because it's titled "UK pace". I can't wait to see the fallout of episode 4. It's weird, as I'm always hesitant at the start of a new season because I think they surely must run out of steam soon and it surely can't keep getting better. But they always find a way to shock us and keep us absolutely hooked.

Wentworth Prison (UK Pace)
Oh I didn't know it had even started in the UK. I thought it was months and months later it came on here. That's not so bad then.
-
Wentworth Prison (UK Pace)
Also, this thread is titled UK pace but it seems like the majority of people who actually post here are watching it at Aus pace. So we really should be putting absolutely everything in spoilers. Unless the thread is split, or renamed.

Ultimate 90s package
I'm a proper Meat Loaf fan so I'm totally biased, but that really was a brilliant video. That and Haddaway to win.

Wentworth Prison (UK Pace)
I have mixed feelings. It was jaw-droppingly shocking. But this will have such a huge impact -

Instant Hotel • Season 2
It's really good and definitely worth a watch. Too short though.

Avengers: Endgame
Sadly this isn't enough to boost it past Avatar. It's not being re-released or anything, it's still in theatres. There's no talk of it expanding the theatre count either. I think it'll just be a the Katherine Langford deleted scene (or maybe one that shows where Gamora went after the battle) and a Stan Lee tribute. It's so close to Avatar, it's painful. After this weekend, it'll be less than $40m but it's already out of nearly all theatres internationally so there's just no more money to be made. It'll scrape another $10m out of the US but that's it.

Have you ever seen Gaga live?
I feel lucky to have seen all her tours. It's only Enigma that I won't see. She is by far the most dynamic and talented live performer I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of gigs. The Born This Way Ball was my favourite, just for the sheer scale of it. That castle went from imposing and bleak to animated and almost a character all on its own in the blink of an eye. Absolutely stunning piece of stage design. I'll forever be devastated that tour wasn't filmed. The footage on Youtube is fine, but it just doesn't do it justice.

Killing Eve • Season 2
Season 2 went completely off the rails unfortunately. It was absolutely ludicrous and much of the season made absolutely no sense whatsoever. The 2 ladies are still immensely watchable, but this should have been a (slightly longer) single season deal, with a proper ending.

Spice World 2019 Tour • Spoiler Thread
Not entirely. There are certain songs that were never live on that tour. Who Do You Think You Are was mimed then and was definitely not entirely live last night (at least not the verses anyway). Hoping they get a bit more confident and go fully live for the rest of the tour. I'm pretty sure Earls Court is the only time they've done a concert 100% live. Unless Istanbul was before they dubbed it afterwards.
