Spice World 2019 Tour • Spoiler Thread
Well, yes and no to that. There was a lot of miming involved. Not everything, as they very clearly sang a lot live too. But it was track heavy in places, with whole verses and bridges mimed in some songs.

Shakespears Sister - All the Queen's Horses
I love the new track it's so typically them. The video is absolutely excellent too. The eye-roll after Marcy was holding the guy's hand on the pool table sent me. Brilliant stuff. The Graham Norton performance wasn't Marcy's best vocal at all, but she sounded scared. I'm sure she was very nervous. It was like she was just too scared to let her voice go. That is also a fiendishly difficult song to sing. I just really enjoyed seeing them together again.

Netta got to 16 at about 3pm the day after the show, with a couple of other versions in the top 200.

Eurovision Song Contest 2019 · Post Mortem
They can definitely shave some time from the presenters. Actually having the information they need, when they need it will help. There's an awful lot of improv and filling going on at crucial moments (it doesn't help when some presenters just don't have the skills to pull this off). I'd prefer the representatives to have a set time limit - enough to have a quick bit of banter or a joke and then give the points and be gone. Some of them take way too long. The interval is also ridiculously long. The suggestion above about looking at when the votes tail off is a good one. They could definitely cut some time there, and have just one main interval act and not a whole variety show going on. It should be so easy to cut 30 minutes from the show as a minimum.

Absolutely living for KEiiNO winning the televote after getting royally screwed by those ridiculous juries and now being the best selling entry. Justice is served.

Aly & AJ - Church
I haven't listened to these yet, I'll do it later, but just wanted to say that Potential Breakup Song is one of my absolute favourite pop songs. It's a banger and the chorus is killer.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 13
I couldn't be less shocked at that. As soon as I heard they were already all theatre kids, I said to my other half they're definitely already known to people. They were invited to audition and Simon probably already knew them. His questions before they performed were not convincing at all. I didn't like them. It was noisy and messy and the singer's voice has no character to it. It's not appealing at all. As for the magician, I liked him but that audience member was the worst actress. She spoiled that as her rehearsed shock and looking around was so cringe. I'm assuming twins that can get themselves into pretty small spaces (the base of the cage). But I still enjoyed it because he's got great stage presence and confidence about him.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 13
Neither were good, but the aerialist/singer was absolutely awful. I cringed so hard I chipped a tooth. As for the Dutch girls, they ruined that trick with stupid camera angles. We could see the boxes and cages extended well beyond the fake wall, but the audience wouldn't have been able to see that. It would have looked more impressive for them. It was still very basic though.

Line of Duty • Series 5
I enjoyed a lot of the interrogations in that episode. They were so well acted. But overall, I was left a bit underwhelmed. You could see that Gill was dodgy a mile off, so it came as no surprise. I also don't like Lisa's ending, though it hopefully is only so she's still in play for the next series, to work with the young lad who's now on the inside. But it still made no sense - she gave them absolutely nothing, so how did she earn her deal? She should have been in prison. I almost felt like they'd hastily rewritten the ending, as it seemed messy and gave us nothing at all. Like Tina - how exactly was she planning to get out of there after stabbing Gill? She was the sole officer in charge of her at that point. She couldn't walk out without her. That just seemed like sloppy writing, for the sake of putting a quick action scene in there. I was hoping for more.

Avengers: Endgame
Right, I felt this too. The first time I watched it, I thought he was confused too, as if that couldn't possibly add up if he was the child in question, which led me to - does he have a sibling he never knew about? But I think the general feeling from what I've read online is that he didn't pick that date with that in mind, only that he knew it was the right time to get both the stone and the particles, and that it was just the realisation that his father was talking about him that made him stop in his tracks.

Avengers: Endgame
Avatar's record will fall. That's all but certain now. It could potentially be at $2.3bn worldwide by the end of the weekend. And that's in less than 2 weeks. This thing is going to fly past $3bn.

Killing Eve • Season 2
Absolutely loving this. There were some fantastic moments in the latest episode - particularly the playground scene (no spoilers). This is such a fantastic show.

Avengers: Endgame
They were my predictions with spoiler tags removed. Some were close, some not quite as much. I was nearly there with Thanos getting Carol weakened with the Power Stone though. Nailed it with getting the past stones and making another gauntlet though. I've now seen it 3 times. It's extraordinary. I won't ever tire of that last battle. From the moment we approach Thor, looking out at Thanos, to the final snap, it's stupidly exhilarating and devastating.

Avengers: Endgame
Box office numbers are in and the records have been smashed. After Friday, it already has the biggest worldwide opening ever and has already grossed $644m. Over $300m of that comes just from China. It has recorded the highest single day box office in practically every territory now. It took $156m domestically on Friday, so that optimistic hope of a $300m opening weekend has been blown out of the water. It could realistically achieve $350m now. The $1bn worldwide opening is very, very possible. Oh, and just as an added bonus, Captain Marvel has rebounded and is at number 2, up 96% from last Friday. Queen.

Avengers: Endgame
Biggest opening day ever in China with $107m. 62% more than Infinity War. Incredible.

The X Factor: The Band
Leona's had some very rough performances over the last few years where she hasn't been able to control her pitch, her voice has cracked or she hasn't been anywhere near the big notes. She's had various health issues and I'm sure that's contributed but I suspect overuse and not looking after it properly in the first few years after winning played a big part in that.

The X Factor: The Band
I hope Leona doesn't do it. Her voice is not where it used to be. I'd worry she'd be out embarrassingly early.

Leona Lewis - TBA
I'd absolutely love to hear her version of We Found Love. And I really like her version of Burn. Her vocal is much better.

Right, I know we all have individual taste, but has someone misunderstood how this works? How can anyone with working eyes actually believe that Vogue is the worst of those videos?

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - 'A Star Is Born' • RATE RESULTS
I totally missed this rate, but Hair, Body, Face should be much higher. That chorus absolutely slaps. It's the best of the pop songs for me. Why Did You Do That should be out already. Also, I hope Diggin' My Grave does well. It feels so underrated to me. It's in my top 5.

American Horror Story • Series RANK
This 100%. Asylum is a stunning season and has Lange's best performance by a country mile. Especially at the very end. She played an absolute blinder. Also, it deserves to be number 1 for The Name Game alone. Absolutely incredible stuff. And you're right about Coven. Brilliant characters and had the potential to be right up there with Asylum. Kathy Bates is amazing (as always) and I use her "Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies" gif at least once a day. What a gift. But it unravelled towards the end and it just couldn't keep the standard as high as the first half of the season.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 13
Might well be, but that doesn't get me any closer to knowing how she did this stuff. I wasn't hugely impressed with her spooky trick - quickly swapping places with an old woman and then back again didn't really do it for me, but this thing with Ant and Dec was next level.
-
Britain's Got Talent • Series 13
I was baffled by that masked magician act. That was really good!! How on earth was that even possible without Ant and Dec being in on it? The touching thing was good enough, but the scribble being identical and reading as 1989 upside down was crazy.
