I enjoyed a lot of the interrogations in that episode. They were so well acted. But overall, I was left a bit underwhelmed. You could see that Gill was dodgy a mile off, so it came as no surprise. I also don't like Lisa's ending, though it hopefully is only so she's still in play for the next series, to work with the young lad who's now on the inside. But it still made no sense - she gave them absolutely nothing, so how did she earn her deal? She should have been in prison. I almost felt like they'd hastily rewritten the ending, as it seemed messy and gave us nothing at all. Like Tina - how exactly was she planning to get out of there after stabbing Gill? She was the sole officer in charge of her at that point. She couldn't walk out without her. That just seemed like sloppy writing, for the sake of putting a quick action scene in there. I was hoping for more.

Right, I felt this too. The first time I watched it, I thought he was confused too, as if that couldn't possibly add up if he was the child in question, which led me to - does he have a sibling he never knew about? But I think the general feeling from what I've read online is that he didn't pick that date with that in mind, only that he knew it was the right time to get both the stone and the particles, and that it was just the realisation that his father was talking about him that made him stop in his tracks.

Avatar's record will fall. That's all but certain now. It could potentially be at $2.3bn worldwide by the end of the weekend. And that's in less than 2 weeks. This thing is going to fly past $3bn.

Absolutely loving this. There were some fantastic moments in the latest episode - particularly the playground scene (no spoilers). This is such a fantastic show.

They were my predictions with spoiler tags removed. Some were close, some not quite as much. I was nearly there with Thanos getting Carol weakened with the Power Stone though. Nailed it with getting the past stones and making another gauntlet though. I've now seen it 3 times. It's extraordinary. I won't ever tire of that last battle. From the moment we approach Thor, looking out at Thanos, to the final snap, it's stupidly exhilarating and devastating.

Box office numbers are in and the records have been smashed. After Friday, it already has the biggest worldwide opening ever and has already grossed $644m. Over $300m of that comes just from China. It has recorded the highest single day box office in practically every territory now. It took $156m domestically on Friday, so that optimistic hope of a $300m opening weekend has been blown out of the water. It could realistically achieve $350m now. The $1bn worldwide opening is very, very possible. Oh, and just as an added bonus, Captain Marvel has rebounded and is at number 2, up 96% from last Friday. Queen.

Biggest opening day ever in China with $107m. 62% more than Infinity War. Incredible.

Leona's had some very rough performances over the last few years where she hasn't been able to control her pitch, her voice has cracked or she hasn't been anywhere near the big notes. She's had various health issues and I'm sure that's contributed but I suspect overuse and not looking after it properly in the first few years after winning played a big part in that.

I hope Leona doesn't do it. Her voice is not where it used to be. I'd worry she'd be out embarrassingly early.
  11. Maluma is the featured singer. Medellin is the track.

I'd absolutely love to hear her version of We Found Love. And I really like her version of Burn. Her vocal is much better.

Right, I know we all have individual taste, but has someone misunderstood how this works? How can anyone with working eyes actually believe that Vogue is the worst of those videos?
  14. I totally missed this rate, but Hair, Body, Face should be much higher. That chorus absolutely slaps. It's the best of the pop songs for me. Why Did You Do That should be out already. Also, I hope Diggin' My Grave does well. It feels so underrated to me. It's in my top 5.
  15. This 100%. Asylum is a stunning season and has Lange's best performance by a country mile. Especially at the very end. She played an absolute blinder. Also, it deserves to be number 1 for The Name Game alone. Absolutely incredible stuff. And you're right about Coven. Brilliant characters and had the potential to be right up there with Asylum. Kathy Bates is amazing (as always) and I use her "Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies" gif at least once a day. What a gift. But it unravelled towards the end and it just couldn't keep the standard as high as the first half of the season.
  16. Might well be, but that doesn't get me any closer to knowing how she did this stuff. I wasn't hugely impressed with her spooky trick - quickly swapping places with an old woman and then back again didn't really do it for me, but this thing with Ant and Dec was next level.
  17. I was baffled by that masked magician act. That was really good!! How on earth was that even possible without Ant and Dec being in on it? The touching thing was good enough, but the scribble being identical and reading as 1989 upside down was crazy.

Yeah the numbers are astonishing. In one hour, it beat Infinity War's first full day of presales. In three hours, it beat Infinity War's first full week. With every day that passes, the possibility of a $1bn global opening weekend is getting closer and closer. $850m at least seems almost certain at this point.
  19. 10 Asylum 09 Roanoke 08 Murder House 08 Coven 7.5 Apocalypse 07 Hotel 05 Cult 04 Freakshow Asylum is the only correct answer for the best season. It's amazing and even better on the 2nd (or 3rd) watch. Same goes for Roanoke, Murder House and Coven actually. They really do benefit from multiple viewings. I haven't managed to watch any of the others again. I will definitely watch Apocalypse and Hotel for a 2nd time, but Cult and Freakshow are a no-go for me. They were really poor. I don't know what it was about Roanoke that some people don't like. It's so good - it's genuinely scary in parts, extremely gruesome, has great characters and some nice little twists. I loved it.

I think Maleficent will do pretty well. The first one did way better than most expected. We'll need to wait until we see the first trailers to judge that one properly though. Artemis for the flop. I can't see that doing any better than Dumbo to be honest. For everything else, the answer is Endgame. 2019 will belong to the Avengers, but The Lion King and Frozen are going to do big things too. I'll see both of them and Aladdin. I'm not bothered about Toy Story, which is shocking, but it looks like a rehash and Toy Story 3 was the perfect end so there's that. It'll still be huge though. I couldn't give less of a toss about Star Wars.

Full trailer is out. My god almighty it looks fantastic. Those last few seconds after the cast names made me smile so much. 7TavVZMewpY

Absolute perfection. I'm so sad it's finished but my god did she get it just right. Everything was spot on. I'm really going to miss Claire now. What an icon. I'm glad she got the ending she deserved too. And I hadn't even considered that *we* were her best friend - a symbol of her guilt and grief, forever hanging over her. That makes so much sense.
  23. I'm not loving the video. It's so cringey when they appear in their fancy dress shop Narnia outfits. They performed this really well at the Eurovision party. The vocals were excellent and it's just a really good pop song. It may do absolutely nothing at all in the final (if it even qualifies) but I really love it. N1hWpMNs76Y
  24. I immediately thought of Nina when that ventriloquist was on. I did laugh at him, but it was only because David went all out for him. Other than that, he wasn't nearly as good at the actual ventriloquism and voices as Nina was. The head teacher made my heart melt. That was so beautiful to watch. He clearly loves those kids to bits and they had the time of their lives up there.
  25. I'm enjoying the new season, though it's just not the same without Heidi and Tim. Not even close. That camping/survival wear challenge was a choice. Those poor models. As for All Stars - I was team Irina all the way. I couldn't stand Michelle this time around, she came across horribly. At least Irina was honest about stuff and wasn't there for the pity parties they like to throw for themselves. And when we found out what her and her family are going through, I was devastated for her. Having to hold it together when her mum told her on camera that her cancer had got worse - oh my god, that was awful.
