My guess after watching the 2nd trailer is that (after Tony records his message and thinks he's going to die) him and Nebula find a way to fix the ship, restore power and get back to earth. I think that's what the remaining Avengers are looking up to sky to see when they're standing outside the compound in the trailer. As for who's going to bite the big one, I can't see past I know this is just speculation on my part but I'll spoiler it anyway just so as not to upset anyone - I also think that Also (and finally) Even if that none of that actually comes to be, I honestly don't think I've ever been this excited for a movie. This is it. This is the movie event of my lifetime. I feel so invested in this universe and these characters - I'm going to be an emotional wreck.
  2. Wow, I'd be shocked if it made number 1. It's still considerably behind on streaming, even though it's top 10 and has no radio support. The lead on iTunes is indeed monstrous, but paid for sales are so low I can't see that being the deciding factor. The spotify update today will be interesting. If they've closed the gap even more, then it really will be game on. Especially because the Youtube streaming numbers are really brilliant. I really hope they do it. What an amazing victory lap that would be.
  3. I'm appalled at BoRhap winning Best Editing and Best Sound Mixing. There are plenty videos going around already to prove why that film looks like it was edited by a child with ADHD. It's an absolutely ridiculous winner. And sound mixing? For what? Playing some Queen tracks? What a joke.

I've never been a passenger on the SuBo hype train so I'm glad she didn't win. She can't hold a candle to any of the other singers that she was competing with. I did think it was being set up for her too and that would have been an awful result. And as for Darci, I don't know why I'm so overly critical of her. I feel so mean, she's so young. But I could see her mouth moving A LOT, especially during the last results show. There are better ventriloquists out there - she just doesn't do it for me. She's a bit too family friendly maybe. Some of the adult ventriloquists can perform more interesting material. I just find Darci so beige. The act I was most surprised to love was Kseniya. Sand art on paper sounds extremely boring, but she is amazing. The stories she told, the music, the complexity and speed of what she did - I loved it. And she was so humble. When she said that she was just grateful to be able to buy a house from her winnings when she won her own Got Talent show, I thought wow, and they give the American winner a million dollars. She was clearly really overwhelmed at being there and then actually making it that far.

I loved the Champions series. The only negative thing was there was just so much talent, I could have picked 5 people from each episode to go through. It was really impossible to pick 2 and some absolutely amazing acts missed out. I'm clearly in the minority but I can't stand Darci. Yes her act is cute and obviously she's talented but god I'm so bored of it and I don't find her particularly likeable either. The final results show was awesome. Brian and Christina's duet absolutely blew me away. Those vocals were unbelievable. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Anybody watching season 2? They've tweaked the format a little, so scoring is totally different now and there's no score given to the guests this time. They're 2 episodes in and they've been quite good. There's one couple that is just a car crash waiting to happen. The husband is just awful.

Absolutely loved this. It's clever, heartbreaking, poignant, but insanely funny. Even when nothing is actually happening, her face is so expressive. I loved the supporting cast too. Especially Greta Lee - she was hilarious.
  8. Ok I really need help identifying a song that I can remember liking but have absolutely no idea what it is or who the artist was. It's a dance/pop track with a distinct country twist to the instrumental and the vocal. The singer was female. I'm almost positive they were just another faceless, one-hit wonder, European dance act though. It's also very possible that the vocal was just a sample of an actual country song, or it was a straight up dance cover of one. The video was set in some sort of trailer park I think, with people in country/line dancing outfits dancing. And I may be remembering this part wrong, but it's possible they were all dead, or they all die. It must be 10-14 years old. I don't think it was a massive hit, but it must have done alright or else I don't know how it would have even been on my radar. Sorry, it's super vague, but if you have any suggestions at all, throw them my way. I'm dying to find it (and no doubt realise it's nowhere near as good as I think). EDIT: Never mind, I found it. I wasn't too far off lol 4d4L4hiSHNw

Oh yeah that cleaning charge was an absolute joke. But I loved their house more than I loved them. Babe and Bondi's was great too, and they did a good job of tarting up the back garden for the finale.

Oops. I've never opened that thread as I don't think I've ever watched another Australian reality show. But this one's so iconic it needs it's own thread anyway. Mikey and Shay were unbelievably vile to everyone at their judging. It was an absolute car crash. Especially considering the critiques were valid. That house was awful. I lived when they were invited back to judge the finale. Brent and Leroy too. I got the major cringe at them. They set themselves up for a fail, being so high and mighty, but I didn't expect their place to be such a let down. I was really happy with the winners too. I had major house envy, it was stunning.

Saara was absolutely amazing - even more so when we found out she'd just fell on her head before they went on and was clearly in pain afterwards. She might have had a bloody concussion. James and Wes were obviously brilliant too and I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying Melody. She's really going for it and she's lovely to watch. And Gemma. I mean, what is there to say. I initially felt sorry for her when she was saying how that fall had affected her, until we see Jane skating really well after actually fainting a few hours before and Saara doing that after knocking her head immediately before going out. I know there's no accounting for how a fall affects different people, and as much as I want to cut Gemma some slack, she did literally nothing at all. If Matt didn't pull her around, she'd have stayed in one spot for the entire thing.

Absolutely loved this!!! So glad they're doing another season but I'm almost disgusted at that choice of host. Good lord.
  13. Joseph. Behave yourself. On this you are absolutely correct.
  14. Trinity's was the closest I'd say. She did a great job. Naomi's make up on her Judy was a bit jarring. It was the heavy, heavy contouring on the nose that was throwing me off as it made it look extremely long and pointed. Oh yeah I totally agree. Naomi was definitely 3rd that week. I loved Babs and Trinity ruled it.
  15. I'd take Naomi over Monet any day of the week. Naomi's Snatch Game was underappreciated this season. She did good. And she's proved that she can turn out a lip sync with the best of them.
  16. I have many feelings about the last episode, mostly that Monet was one of the most undeserving challenge winners we've seen yet. Honestly, the make up and outfit on her Judy was...unforgiving to say the least. From the pasty white face to the tights, good lord above it was horrific. I can't fathom how that was top 2, other than to deliberately even out the win numbers and not have one clear, outright candidate for the crown. And obviously that person is Trinity. Trinity won this week, hands down. That makeover was stunning. The hair, the make up, the outfit - all absolutely flawless. But giving her the 4th win at this stage would have been as good as ending it early. I'm baffled by the need to force us to think Monet is better than she is. Yes, she's funny. But come on now, as far as her looks go, there's basic, then there's Monet. If she wins this thing, which is looking increasingly possible, it will be an absolute travesty. Oh, and Naomi's lip sync was absolutely epic. I lived for that and she deserved every cent of that cash tip.
  17. Not according to Trinity. She's been pretty up front about the whole thing on Twitter today. She said her cape was never supposed to be a reveal, she wore it with 3 of the 4 songs in mind, as her performance was planned to work with them. She didn't plan on ripping it off, she worked it in because of the shapes it made when spinning. Unfortunately she got the song she didn't really want so just had to wing it  so off came the cape. She said she'd have picked Adrenaline if they got to choose. Naomi also chimed in to back her up and say they were not told there was a specific runway theme, just to wear "dance" outfits, and they've said they 100% had to learn all 4 songs with very little notice and had no idea which song they would get. Trinity also said in the replies that Gia/Naomi's lip sync was her favourite from the back of the room. Girl's got taste.

I can't believe that Bohemian Rhapsody got a Best Picture nomination. Good lord. Bradley getting snubbed for Best Director is a shock too. However that's somewhat offset by Sam Elliott getting a nom for Support Actor. That's well deserved. Full nominations here.
  19. Agree 100%. Naomi's edit has been absolutely shocking. That ranking feels spot on. I'm hoping for a Trinity win.
  20. Nope at Monique being a front runner. And this ordering puts Trinity bottom of the pack. No way, come on now. Trinity will be top 2 for sure (and should win).

A Star Is Born will get a good number of noms but I do think it'll only win for Shallow. As much as I'd love for them to win the acting awards, it's not happening. Actress is a straight up tussle between Olivia and Glenn. I'm more curious to see if BoRhap gets completely snubbed or not. If it gets nominated for Best Picture I'll lose my damn mind. It doesn't deserve any nomination other than possibly sound mixing for the performances and maybe an actor nod for Rami. Even then, I don't think it should win either of them.
  22. Correct decisions made all round, apart from the last one. I would have sent Latrice packing. She represents nothing about modern drag at all. That runway outfit was beyond disgusting and her lip sync wasn't anything to get excited about. To me, Monique won that by a country mile.
  23. Well I'm not entirely sure what's happening next week but didn't the preview show 2 of the returnees choosing lipsticks? Course that could mean that all the eliminated queens are lipsyncing and whoever wins comes back at the expense of whoever they choose.

I thought the same. Period dramas are not my bag. But this is wickedly funny in places. And it's enjoyable purely to watch those 3 ladies get their teeth into these pretty vile characters. I was surprised how much I liked it, it's honestly brilliant.
  25. That's quite possibly true but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion either. There has been a bit of online backlash about BR winning at the Globes (not necessarily Rami I might add, but the film in general) so I'm curious about whether or not the other awards voters want to move away from that. BR has not been seen as a very deserving winner, even though Rami was very good in it. My personal opinion is that Bradley acted circles around Rami and deserves the win more. Yes, Rami portrayed a larger than life character very well, but he also had a lot to work with, to base that performance on. Bradley's performance was tortured, emotional and raw. The fact that he also performed the songs live while Rami only mimes to Freddie also puts Bradley ahead for me.
