I've enjoyed 2024, its thrown us a few surprise number ones- Beyonce, Hozier, Eminem, Chase and Status, Charli XCX! The top 10 has seen varied genres. Yes the summer has been quite slow with the same songs hogging the Top 10 (all songs I love though). The YTD top 20 is quite fresh with it filled with genuine 2024 hits. All in all, I'd say 2024 is one of the best years in the last decade.

I’d love to see Billie , Chappell and Sabrina PPP make the official EOY Top 10 but not sure there’s room for all three :(

I’m loving that the Top 20 has 12 songs all released this year! I think last year the whole top 40 had about 12 songs released in that year! Great to see!
