Spice Girls Net

I’m nervous 😬

1. USA 2. Japan 3. Most countries 4. 25th Vinyl The UK/most countries one doesn't really do it for me as they were all in the letter and the pictures are quite small. I loved it for the album artwork, but I don't think it worked well on the single.

Would be great to know if "Wannabe" has 'officially' passed 2 million units in the UK... ^_^

I’ve always loved the SYBT Spice of life mix

I just hope that if we get anything for 'Spice' it won't be on different dates.

Spotify listeners now at 8.8 million and an increase of 49k since yesterday

Anyway...let’s get back to discussing the charts thread 👀

Wannabe streams Saturday - 498k Sunday - 411k :cheer:

Average streams per day Wannabe - 350k Stop - 70-80k Yesterday Wannabe did 498k the highest I’ve known it for a long time and Stop did exactly 100k 🥳

Because the lockdown has been on and off for over a year and the fact that 2020 weirdly went really fast it feels longer than 2 years. Take me back

Wannabe did over 450,000 streams on Spotify this Saturday. Listeners are now up to 8.7m Fingers crossed they keep getting a boost this summer with more listeners and that Wannabe increases too for the anniversary

Plus it was the song played over the closing credits of their multi-million dollar movie “Spiceworld” 💁‍♀️

I’ll never understand the dislike towards TLIAV. I don’t think a girl group has ever attempted a track like that. I can only imagine the SG pulling off that sound.

Fav: Never Give Up On The Good Times Least fav: Step To Me There was truly no bad album tracks on Spice or Spiceworld. I guess it just comes down to preference

I’ve just sent. Hope it went through.

Is it bad I know all of them? (I’m pretty certain I do)

No.65 on UK iTunes

Those LM sales are albums and singles (streams included) The SG figure is album sales only.

The Spice album got as high as #201 on iTunes today. No idea why it’s so high but would love to see it in the Top 200 so it was visible on the iTunes App Store

Favourite: If U Can’t Dance (just beat Naked to the post) Least favourite: Love Thing (I don’t dislike it at all it’s just I love the other four so much. Yes, even Last Time Lover)

Mel B is getting a lot of praise on Twitter in regards to her GMB interview talking about domestic violence which is a horrible thing for anyone to go through, I couldn’t imagine. But I’m glad there’s at least some positivity towards her interview, rather than people slagging her off just for the sake of it.

Apart from the UK and a few updates of the odd single/album in another country here and there, most of their certifications haven't been updated since 1998/1999

I think it was 8.8 or 8.9m during 2019. I don't think they've reached 9 million before.

Absolutely. If streaming had existed their streams would have exceeded Drake and Ed and all the other artists in the charts but I’m so proud of how much they sold in the physical era

Monthly Spotify listeners now up to 8.5 million As of today Wannabe is over 580m and Stop is 96m which means in exactly two months time (mid July) Wannabe will get to 600m and Stop will finally get to 100m 😊
