  1. I also looked at some of the other big GG likes DC, TLC and Fifth Harmony and most of their songs range from 50k-200k a day excluding their one big hit. Wannabe is above all of them, so it would be great if the other songs could get a bit of a boost Stop, SYBT, SUYL, WDYTYA etc
  2. Apart from virtually every BlackPink song which ranges from 450-800k daily streams on Spotify, I have made a rough list of girl group songs with the most daily streams. 'Wannabe' achieved over 418,000 streams on Saturday (its daily average is usually between 300-350k) so over 400k is brilliant. Here is a list of most streamed this weekend (Saturday streams - I've excluded BP as mentioned above and I'm sure there are no other K-pop girl groups with as many streams as them) Sweet Melody - 448k Wannabe - 418k No Scrubs - 354k Work From Home - 321k Say My Name - 303k Shout Out to my Ex - 295k ALSO, Worth It by Fifth Harmony and Wannabe had a difference of around 50m only a couple of months ago and now it's around 44m. I know it's a long way to go but it's closed the gap by 6m very quickly. Wannabe may well take it over and become the 2nd most streamed girl group song of all time on the platform, after Work From Home which has over 1B streams :drink:
  3. Now Wannabe’s climbed even higher on iTunes #41 - Canada #87 - United States
  4. Wannabe - iTunes Chart *Sales in brackets are estimations from Digital Sales Data* #87 - Canada (16) #189 - United States (116) #278 - Italy (1) :P
  5. Officially certified Platinum via the BRITs page today :cheer: @1365323236255227915
  6. SG Spotify listeners now up to 7.7m
  7. iTunes Germany #83 - 2 Become 1 According to Digital Sales Data it's around 20 odd sales :yahoo:
  8. Yes hoping the fans will come together for this. If we came together more often for downloading/streaming parties it would be amazing. *There are many fan initiatives/campaigns that I have planned for the next couple of years, regarding specific songs both for iTunes and Spotify*
  9. Westlife may have sold more albums and singles in the UK and of course they were together as a group for a lot longer, but comparing SG and Westlife and basically saying they're the equivalent of the Kaiser Chiefs to the Beatles is quite silly. Ironically, the SG have more in common with the Beatles than Westlife does in terms of their global appeal, hysteria and iconography.
  10. My parents have seen the documentary and said how cruel the media and general public were to her and how the treatment she got in the U.S. at the time of her breakdown was disgusting, which it was. I'm going to catch up with it this weekend. It's crazy to think how attitudes have changed towards mental health in just the last few years. I doubt many people would get away with doing or saying the things they did back in 2007.
  11. Goodbye will definitely be over the 10m mark already along with the single edit version too.
  12. 2 Become 1 does 70-80k plus during the Christmas period, I believe. But on an average day like today it does around 60,000 streams.
  13. Stop has reached 90 million streams on Spotify. It does around 2m a month so it will get to 100m by July :cheer: Wannabe should also get to 600m by August, maybe July seeing as this Summer marks its 25th anniversary 2 Become 1 does just over 1.6m streams a month so it should be 100m by Spring 2022 (March/April) it will look so much better to have a few more songs over 100m rather than Wannabe at 500m and everything else under 80m. SYBT does around 1.4m streams a month and is the last of their songs to realistically cross the 100m barrier in 2022 (December as an estimate) but hopefully the boost in 2021 will help it get there a little quicker.
  14. What is so frustrating is that so many songs in the charts now are millionaires and have only sold 200k at best. Goodbye has sold around 900k in pure sales so with a streaming bump it's such a shame it's struggling to get there. As you've all mentioned the song has been poorly placed on Spotify. It was a massive 90s hit but it's the last track on both the Forever and GH albums.
  15. Happy Birthday, Feels So Good Released 20 years ago today! :cheer: UK Peak - #5 Total sales - 145,433 (as of May 2020) vxkVAMvwoQU
  16. I would love that. just to see them together in any capacity would be amazing. Put lots of old clips, performances, interviews and iconic moments on YouTube the week Wannabe is 25 and when the C4 doc airs also. Push the streaming and a coffee table book would be nice too.
  17. Goodbye, Goodbye - the single has been replaced by the album version of 'Holler' as Track #10 on Spotify, with over 12.5 million streams. Goodbye was in their Top 10 most popular tracks for nearly 3 months.
  18. To be fair it was a Christmas present
  19. Headlines annoyed me the most as it was 1 position away from being a Top 10. Like Spiceboy said the single should have been released before the GH album and the download/physical week should have been the same. As for solo music I think Word Up deserved to be a Top 10 hit, it was a great cover and so was the production. Mel B's version of Word Up IMO was and is the best Word Up cover ever released. I also wish Crickets had been Top 10 so that all of the Free Me Era singles had reached the Top 10 too.
  20. Oh wow what an amazing year. I had so many CD singles from that year including Spice Girls, Melanie C, Britney, All Saints, Gabrielle, Ronan Keating (don't judge) and yes I even got Bob the Builder for Christmas (It was such a bop) I was 8/9 during that year.
  21. Of course it is, I just wondered why. There's usually a reason why albums suddenly appear.
  22. Spiceworld was as high as #373 on UK iTunes today. I wonder why
  23. It's crazy that some of her biggest hits aren't even Platinum yet. I know sales in the 2000s weren't great, but ironically most of Britney's singles are WAY bigger (in terms of impact and being memorable) compared to any of today's 'millionaires'.
  24. Northern Star has moved up to #10 on Melanie C's most 'Popular' tracks on Spotify with 3.8 million streams.
