  1. 2002 was quite a depressing year in Spiceworld. There was no group activity and apart from Victoria’s one release, there was no other music from any of them. Between 1996-2001 we were spoiled really with group and solo releases. It’s mad to think how busy 2001 was in comparison to 2002 which was just....
  2. I wish all of the singles and albums were on Spotify (it seems that many countries still don’t have Emma’s full discography on iTunes and Spotify) Back to Free Me. What an amazing album. It deserved so much more. It should be platinum at least
  3. Hi Jay, just some info for you. I came across a top 10 sales thread on Popjustice and SYBT sold 36,000 the week it was at #9 (just so you can add it to the first page) :D
  4. Give or take a few hundred sales, it’ll soon be comfortably over the 10M unit mark 😊
  5. UK iTunes 469. Wannabe 1132. Spice Up Your Life 1138. Stop 1184. Mama
  6. Viva Forever will reach 50m on YouTube this year, but to be fair most of the iconic hits from the 1996-1998 era should all be at 100m at least
  7. Yes, because of streaming some artists literally have 10s of millions of units added to their pure sales total. That's how ridiculously inflated streaming has made of the charts and of artists total 'sales'.
  8. A few of their videos on YouTube and songs on Spotify will be hitting various milestones this year which is great, from 50m to 600m 👏
  9. Wannabe has reached 500 million views on YouTube :cheer:
  10. I'm hoping they go for it with a tour and some shows in 2022, including Glastonbury as unfortunately 2021 is pretty much written off for live music.
  11. I was working on their sales averages today and it seems that by late Feb/early March 2021 their UK singles total will cross 10 MILLION units :cheer: (We just need JAY to find out the latest sales totals so that we can be sure and confirm from his sources)
  12. Thank you. Yes I tried to group the songs that most sit well with each other. I think singing the verses of LTL and the chorus with Naked would work with a bodysuit look followed by Love Thing and finishing with 2B1 would be iconic.
  13. Act 1 - Party Spice Up Your Life If U Can’t Dance Who Do You Think You Are Act 2 - Sex Last Time Lover/Naked (mash up) Love Thing 2 Become 1 Act 3 - Jazz Nightclub Too Much Something Kinda Funny The Lady is a Vamp Act 4 - Dance Holler Say You’ll Be There Act 5 - Family Mama We Are Family Goodbye Act 6 - Celebration Stop Never Give Up On The Good Times Viva Forever Wannabe
  14. I’ll definitely do some stories in the week! 👍😊
  15. There’s a few people that follow my Instagram page (some work with the girls) on the label/management side. Should I start posting some stories regarding what we’d like and make it look like a casual story (which has actually been very seriously planned out) 🤣🤭
  16. Hey, Jane regardless of what you said I’m not offended but I understand what you mean by fan initiatives and ways to celebrate various anniversaries this year (which is something I’m already working on) I’m just trying to figure things out and going through ideas and working with other fans. Watch this space 😊
  17. UK iTunes 233 - GH 533 - Spiceworld
  18. I guess it wasn’t the same everywhere I guess 😊 I think if the figure is 1.509 I’m hoping that if you included a few sales from 1998 at least then maybe 1.6m in total. I just wish their label would update a few more of their certifications. We don’t even know their single sales in countries like Spain and Canada and places like Australia have not been updated for over 20 years.
  19. Well regardless of the charts I just mean that it must have still been available in stores on a CD single. I remember still seeing all of the Spice Girls singles in HMV London up until 1999.
  20. Very happy to know their singles look much healthier compared to 1997. Fingers crossed I get more sales info for the singles at least. I reckon if they did 900k in 1997 alone what are the chances they did say 300k in 1998 - is that realistic? SYBT could be nearer to 2m in the next couple of years.
  21. Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 (SYBT was on Now 35 and by the time Now 36 came out in Spring 1997 Mama was the opening track)
  22. Found some sales info for SYBT in the United States :cheer: Physical sales - 900,000 (Sales in 1997 alone) Downloads - 268,611 Streaming units - 339,466 Total sales - 1,508,077 *Total does not include physical sales from 1998 on wards* SYBT could possibly be anywhere between 1.6-1.8m, but it's definitely over 1.5m
  23. January 2020 was a year ago, yes. Sorry. I got excited and obviously don't know what year I'm in
  24. #186 on UK iTunes :cheer:
