  1. The GH was up to #49 this morning. Currently at #54
  2. Northern Star was certified Gold by IFPI Denmark over 20 years for sales of 25,000 but found some figures on the Official Hitlisten End of year charts in Denmark for 2000 (archived copy) Northern Star (as of late 2000) sold 57,401 copies, making it Platinum :cheer: Other additional sales (as of end of 2000) Never Be The Same Again - 3,937 I Turn To You - 6,063 Denmark Chart Source
  3. They were one of a kind in so many ways. Fingers crossed we get SOMETHING in 2021.
  4. He's interviewed all of the girls pretty much on the early Graham Norton shows but always slags them off.
  5. Mel C talks to Graham Norton about her current single and a 2022 Spice Girls reunion Talking about the 25th anniversary Melanie said - Full interview Melanie C Virgin Radio Interview
  6. Into You video has over 350,000 views and will reach 300k streams as of tomorrow.
  7. The biggest girl group in the world only has ONE song over 100m views on both YouTube and Spotify. Everything else is 80m or under. The fact they have a small discography should play to their advantage. Don’t get me started on how some of their solo material is handled on YouTube 😂
  8. Whether we like it or not that’s the future now (streaming and YouTube views) It’s just a shame that Simon/the label/management/whoever doesn’t seem to focus on this and give it more attention. Stans seem to be more impressed by 1 billion streams than say 85 million records sold (all CDs and downloads)
  9. Well it's their second biggest hit in the U.S. after Wannabe and their 3rd best UK seller, plus the video is iconic. I'm surprised it's not over 100m views.
  10. We all need to keep streaming on Spotify and watching on YouTube in 2021 as the group will be hitting some big milestones this year If they keep getting the same daily views on YT which is an average of 400k they'll reach 1 billion views by the Summer. Videos hitting big milestones in 2021 (According to Kworb/YouTube data) Wannabe - 500m (Feb 12) Too Much - 20m (March 8) Say You'll Be There - 80m (March 28) Spice Up Your Life - 30m (May 5) Mama - 20m (June 8) Let Love Lead The Way - 6m (June 18) :kink: Viva Forever - 50m (Sept 5) Goodbye - 20m (December 22)
  11. Thank you for the updates. Amazing to think ROM is nearly a millionaire. I thought ASIB would have been nearer to 2x Plat but hopefully it'll happen this year.
  12. Yes it needs its time to shine. Funnily enough I wanted loads of Olympics flames lit up all over the stadium while the group sang Viva Forever during the 2012 Closing Ceremony in London. Wannabe/SUYL was an obvious and fun choice though.
  13. Crazy to think the total for 'When You're Gone' is higher than Stop, WDYTYA, Too Much and Viva Forever
  14. It's probably the most played solo track on UK radio at least. I never really hear any other songs to be honest. Maybe NBTSA or WTYSL but it's rare.
  15. 'When You're Gone' has sold 901,000 units :cheer: @1348951614422454272 Last update was May 2020 on 865,000 sales
  16. Mentioned in previous page :P ;)
  17. I want limited edition cassettes for all four singles (each tape a different colour) Voiceovers for Spotify with each girl asking Spotify/Alexa etc to play Wannabe 25th anniversary edition of Spice with a big 25 sticker with unreleased songs
  18. Hopefully the UK will be in better shape by the end of the summer and the beginning of autumn compared to this current wave. I’m not expecting a tour but I hope there’s something to celebrate their 25th anniversary 🥳
  19. Melanie had 746k Instagram followers the other day and since Emma, Geri and Vic (30m combined Instagram followers) posted a birthday post for Melanie, she's now crossed 760k :cheer: I'm also streaming NS and Melanie C. It's the least we can do on her birthday :D
  20. Posting some end of year achievements for the year 2000 (mostly solo) with a few from the group on my Spice Girls Net Insta stories if anyone's interested :)
  21. I don’t think the BRITs care too much about how big of a year a group has. In 1997 the Spice Girls had 4 No.1s in the U.K., 2 No.1 albums and was then UK/World’s best selling music act and yet they weren’t even nominated for best group at the 1998 ceremony. Unless you’re a solo act like Duffy, Adele, Amy or Dua you don’t get a look in.
  22. Thank you Jay for clearing that up. Sadly their trickle sales will probably keep decreasing year after year (like most artists) as iTunes sales dwindle and streaming continues to grow.
