  1. As a group and as solo artists they all scored No1s/Top 10 singles for a consecutive decade (11 calendar years, would have been 12 if Headlines hadn’t missed the Top 10 in 2007) 1996 - 3 No.1s 1997 - 3 No.1s 1998 - 6 Top 10s (3 No.1s) 1999 - 6 Top 10s (2 No.1s) 2000 - 6 Top 10s (4 No.1s) 2001 - 7 Top 10s (2 No.1s) 2002 - 1 Top 10 2003 - 3 Top 10s 2004 - 3 Top 10s 2005 - 1 Top 10 2006 - 1 Top 10
  2. Emma's 'What Took You So Long' and Geri's 'It's Raining Men' are both included in the Official Charts '100 songs turning 20 in 2021' Playlist on Spotify Emma is Track 9 and Geri Track 12 They also list the singles that reached The Top 10 in the article too, but they've missed out Mel B's 'Feels So Good' and it's not on the Playlist either :( OCC Article
  3. The pure sales list on Wikipedia is only up to June 2018 with #50 at 1.428 million. As of 2020 Wannabe's pure sales is somewhere between 1.390-1.4 million. As for the second list including streams, that list was 2017, and over the last three years Wannabe has really picked up a lot of streaming units. 3 years it wasn't even on 1.7 million which is #50. Now it's only 40,000 units or so away from 2 million. I am sure it'll be included in that Wikipedia list if it was updated.
  4. Do you mean Top 500 most listened to artists?
  5. Happy 23rd Anniversary of the release of Spiceworld: The Movie. I went to see it on Boxing Day with my family ☺️❤️
  6. Quite a few songs have passed big milestones for her. 3m for Take My Breath Away and 2m for What I Am
  7. Wannabe Spotify Plays on New Years' Eve 2017 - 58,212 (#199) 2018 - 82,172 (#141) 2019 - 69,611 (#191) 2020 - ?
  8. After pushing 'Holler' out of the Top 10 Most Popular Songs, 'Goodbye' has moved up one to #9 with 'Mama' down at #10 Their monthly listeners was 7,050,000 only a week ago and today it's 7.2 million I'm hoping the big 25th anniversaries in 2021 give their streaming a boost.
  9. I’ve nothing against them raising money for charity nobody would begrudge that, just makes a bit of a mockery of the charts. I’m not a fan of novelty songs like this.
  10. LadBaby is the official Christmas No.1 and matches the Beatles and Spice Girls record 😳
  11. 2 Become 1 - Apple Music #265 Ireland #289 United Kingdom 2 Become 1 is now at #283 on iTunes the highest I’ve seen it all month
  12. Christmas messages from THREE of the girls so far - Emma (Monday) Geri (Tuesday) and Mel B (Wednesday) :)
  13. iTunes UK 742. 2 Become 1 763. Say You'll Be There 1339. Viva Forever 1356. Goodbye
  14. It's fluctuating a bit on iTunes but the GH is back inside the Top 200 at #182
  15. Yes I really don't feel like the Christmas #1 has been relevant for about 15 years now. I did enjoy some of the X Factor one's like Alexandra Burke's 'Hallelujah', but after a few years it grew tiresome.
  16. No to LadBaby matching the Beatles and Spice Girls record and no to Jess Glynne after the Sexy Fish fiasco  (but to be fair she irritates me in general) Mariah's for a third week and Christmas #1 would be nice.
  17. For anyone that follows my Spice Girls Net Insta I did a quiz last Sunday (all Christmas chart and single related) Tonight’s quiz is a bumper special - testing your knowledge with all things Spice Christmas (TV, adverts, tours, performances etc)
  18. The 2.98 figure in Nov 2018 was albums.
  19. #AskMelanieC Christmas Episode this Saturday at 7pm! @1339586277956415497
  20. For a second I thought that was just the sales update because usually the OCC don't always include the total with streams, but the fact it's nearly at 950k is amazing. If you include all three Christmas Number Ones they equal to 3 million units in the UK! :cheer: :cheer: (Rounded them up) 2 Become 1 - 1,316,000 Too Much - 736,000 Goodbye - 949,000
  21. Goodbye is currently the highest song on iTunes at the moment on #365
  22. Goodbye is #489 the highest I’ve seen it for ages in iTunes currently higher than 2B1. Funnily enough ‘Mama’ is at #700
  23. iTunes UK GH #321 Spiceworld #676
  24. Getting added to playlists is great but unless the right songs are chosen like you say Sammy it goes to show people just play what's in front of them just because it's there.
  25. I did a SG Christmas Quiz on Insta stories last night and next week some of these moment will also be in it :) I remember Christmas 1997 so clearly - TOTP, watching the Istanbul concert, listening to my Spiceworld cassette all day long and eating my Cadbury's chocolates. The next day I went to the cinema with my family to see Spiceworld The Movie at my local cinema. I mean INCREDIBLE times. I cannot put it into words, there's been nothing like it since and probably never will be again. Christmas was so magical during the Spice Girls era when I was a kid.
