As long as you get the degree at the end of the day and you enjoy it, i don't see any problem being an older student, you're more likely to be wised up a bit more about life and work

I'm in the same boat, but age at uni isn't an issue, its not like you're 30. A years not a lot at uni

Don't drop out, it's not worth it. I was in your place this time last year (now on a gap year), I saw my A levels through, didn't do great, but got into uni. The spanish thing is easily solved. Take a gap year and do a night class in it, so it's only 1 or 2 days a week and u get the qualification at the end as well as maybe a full time job, earning some lovely dollar. Also you can go traveling, the world's your oyster :P
