I spoke to Spraggan earlier, said there was 4 copies between her and Train last night

Jordin Sparks - Right Here, Right Now
I'm actually loving this album. She's had a lot more creative freedom over this piece of work and I think it shows. Some great collabs on production too. No physical release in the UK, so i'm hoping she will give it an official release in a few months and do some promo on it on these shores. All she needs is Radio One or 1xtra to playlist one song and she'll be on her way again

Jordin Sparks - Right Here, Right Now
Jordin's album is avaliable to stream in the US on VH1. I'm sure somebody will rip it sooner rather than later. Official release is a week today, and all singles are on UK iTunes and Spotify. I'm feeling everything she's put on there so far. Cannot wait for this era! Just needs a massive push on PR

Jason Derulo - The Other Side
Can't help but think that 'Sparks fly like the 4th of July' is a reference to Miss Sparks (as is the entire song) rather than a KP rip. Who knows! Solid effort though, distinctly lacking his token 'jaaaasonnnn deruuulo' tag though!

Sunday Chart Predictions
Michael died in the coach that crashed whilst returning from Bestival to Liverpool, on the A3 in Surrey on Septemver 10th last year. Mike was an incredibly talented musician and recorded Rise and Fall and Hope You Know with his friend Alex Evans (vocals) a few months before he died. Rob Da Bank has been so good to the victims family and friends, releasing Michael's music on his Sunday Best label and organising a massive benefit night for us in Liverpool. All this being said, regardless of the situation of the track (ie I didn't know Mike, lost a friend to the crash though and loads of friends injured) , I genuinely believe it is outstanding considering it was written and performed by an 18 year old, with Hope You Know being written when he was 13.

Sunday Chart Predictions
It's absolutely pathetic. I could see it sitting quite comfortably in the Top 40 had it been released by a signed and recognised artist. Jesus wept, if Grimmy or Zane Lowe had have given it the thumbs up, it'd easily be top 10. The song is spectacular regardless of whether it's a posthumous release by an unsigned artist.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Can anyone explain why this track isn't getting national airplay when there's clearly a demand for it? I'm so confused. Rob Da Bank has released it on his label and still can't manage to pull any strings concerning having it played on Radio 1

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 28th April 2013
Super super sad, my friend died in the same crash so it's super close to home and we're hoping for a high position, I know it's going to chart but sadly I don't think it'll be very high. A massive triumph for 2 unsigned artists anyway. Please buy the track if you enjoy it!

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 28th April 2013
Michael wrote, recorded and played guitar on the song, with Alex on vocals :) he died in the coach crash on the A3 in Surrey coming back from Bestival last year on September 10th. Family are pushing massively for a number 1 but the sales figures to achieve that would have to be ridiculous considering Daft Punk etc. Massive shame.

Disclosure ft. Eliza Doolittle 'You & Me' Michael Molloy & Alex Evans 'Rise and Fall'

The Way (feat. Mac Miller) • 1st Single
This really is a grower. It's bizarre how it's just shot up the charts all of a sudden though, given that she's a relatively unknown artist to many (Nickeloden days and viewers exempt). Crazy, it's a good piece of pop music though.

Rise and Fall - Michael Molloy and Alex Evans
Today sees the official release date of the pothomous single of Michael Molloy, featuring vocals from his friend Alex Evans. Thoughts and opinions on the following? Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/track/2f0RYE4r8bFWxjXgFMlHtY We have been left with a truly superb piece of music. Michael was just 18 years old when he wrote and performed this song. The talent that is so evident in both this track, and the accompanying track, 'Hope You Know' is absolutely mind blowing considering his age. The second track was written by Michael when he was just 13 years old. Bestival founder 'Rob Da Bank' is backing the track, releasing it under his Sunday Best label. Michael was tragically killed in a coach accident on the A3 in Surrey whilst returning home from Bestival last September. His family are currently campaigning in a bid to have the single reach number 1, in memory of him and his last legacy. With all this aside though, here we do have a genuinely fantastic piece of music here.

Soooooo.... who's excited for Jordin's movie debut, Sparkle?

Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
Haven't been around buzz jack for a minute, but thought i'd swing by to see people's opinions/reaction to Frank's letter. I can honestly say compared to the twitter back lash and american based forums that you're all a breath of fresh air. Honestly. Nostalgia, Ultra is an absolute master piece and it is an absolute sin that he gave it away for free (I know he had his reasons, but still!) i've had it on repeat for months and I still ADORE it. Channel Orange will imo (and as someone else mentioned) probably exceed all expectations. I do find it quite weird listening to him sing about a male (Forrest Gump, youtube it!) but only because no one has ever really done it before, and it's something i've always questioned as to why not. My hat's off to Frank, what he did is incredibly commendable, and i'm a proud fan of hip hop today. I don't think it will have a massively negative effect on album sales, if anything it will boost them. He will have lost a chunk of pig ignorant fans, but they're probably the type to illegally download his work anyway! Swings and round abouts!

The Naked and Famous 'Young Blood' • September 6th
this was absolutely MASSIVE whilst I was in New Zealand over the summer, will definitely take off in the UK

Naturally 7 Music
Seen Naturally 7 live twice, they're absolutely amazing! Deserve more recognition. I though touring with Michael Buble at least 3 time in the UK would have given them some sort of platform..
-
Bruno Mars 'Grenade'
Love this song, was really disappointed that he didn't perform this when supporting Travie McCoy on his recent UK tour, very odd choice imo

Steph Jones - Beautiful
Nice song isn't it! Very upbeat and feel good. Nope, he doesn't sample Take On Me, that was my initial reaction a couple of months ago and I asked him about it and he said no! Steph's also the leading male role in Shontelle's Impossibe video if anyone wanted to know!

Leeds/Reading 2010
BLINK Epic 5 days at Leeds, best out of the 3 years i've been. Blink were sloppy as hell but still amazing, Arcade Fire being my surprise favourites cloesly followed by Mumford and Sons. Electric atmosphere, absolutely awesome!

Jordin Sparks - Right Here, Right Now
LOL at you. Anyway, Jordin's currently preparing to play the role of Nina in In The Hieghts on Broadway in New York. She's signed up to play the role for the next 3 months, and after that who knows what she'll do. She's recently said she has no plans to record a 3rd album yet, but early next year possibly. I have every faith in her releasing a 3rd album and I don't believe that broadway will kill her career, I think she just needs to change management because it seems a Mr Kevin Jonas Snr is putting all his hard work and effort into his lovely 3 songs and a Miss Lovato.

Eminem ∙ 'Recovery'
His performance at T In The Park on Saturday was absolutely mind blowing. The best performance i've ever seen, and that's saying something. Em is well are truely back

Laurell - Can't Stop Falling
True, true! But I don't think it's a bad effort for an unsigned artist at all!

Laurell - Can't Stop Falling
Debut single from Canadian singer songwriter 'Laurell' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6hTFwJi8ss Very Colbieish to me, really like it though. Very summery music. Thoughts?
