Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Jordin Sparks' sophomore album "Battlefield" fights its way to a No. 7 debut, selling 48,000 copies. It's the "American Idol" winner's second top 10 set, as her 2007 self-titled debut entered and peaked at No. 10 with 119,000. Sweet jeez, why are album sales SO poor?!

I seriously think Kanye's a Hip-POP artist. I don't think he deserves it, even though I absolutely adore the man and he's my favourite male artist (alive, obviously Michael was and always will be my all time favourite artist), and he's had a great impact on music, he hasn't had any where near the impact Michael had. We're all forgetting, popular music has *really* only just started out, not even 100 years ago, we've got thousands to go. We may not find another 'Michael' or 'Frank' or 'Elvis' for thousands of years. It may just be the way the cookie crumbles.

So disappointed it's untrue. My local HMV had NO copies yesterday, I go in today, I swear to God she was number 5 on the chart wall and there must have been AT LEAST 100 copies! Such a shame, expected so much better, at least 8.

Peekaboo. Gutted, I set my alarm for Jordin's live chat and fell back asleep :( Asda's still sold out, as is my local HMV. Great.

I think it's going to grow and grow and grow. I went to my local asda at 4pm, 13 copies on the shelf, returned at 7:30pm and they'd all gone. Asked if they had anymore copies and they said they'd completely sold out....

I was a fan of the song before I seen her perform it at a Beyonce concert last month, but it completely blew me out of the water when she performed it. It's freakingggg amazing! Can't *really* see it doing much in the charts though, apparently the video's all over TV atm though.

Does anyone know how they work out combined sales? i.e Jordin's standard version at number 2 and her deluxe at number 6 on the US iTunes? Do they literally take every single sale and add them together or is it a percentage?
