whats next for Delta?
thats the thing, she really needs to work hard in the UK to re astablish herself, it has been so long! re the US, the album did ok but she needs to release BA and BTT at least before she releases another album over there. she needs to get on some big tv shows. she has really done nothing over there. even if she releases the songs and doesnt promote them, its better than nothing, you dont know what song could be the next big thing. i think it comes down to poor management

its sad coz i was hoping they would. i have no idea what the deal is with the uk her latest interview she said she will be working on the new album. we have heard the single should be out by the end of the year. she will be in the US a lot also she said in that interview. she told fans when the single would be out. Im still hoping she has time to release 'delta;' in the UK, even if she just releases In This Life and Believe Again

Nat Bass // '1000 Stars'
It's kinda reminiscent of Delta's 'Believe Again' video from the pictures i have seen. here is a dodgy preview... looks ok uw541F6272M Natalie Bassingthwaighte to leave Australia March 29, 2009 12:00am AFTER cementing herself in Australia's pop market with a number-one album, Natalie Bassingthwaighte is looking overseas. "I'm not sure whether I'm going to go to America or Europe or the UK,'' she said in Sydney last week on the set of her third solo video clip, 1000 Stars, from the album of the same name. "I'm not sure which path I'm going to take yet. "I definitely feel like something is about to happen, something big.'' Bassingthwaighte is hoping to replicate her Australian success. Bassingthwaighte is wary of being over-exposed locally. Regardless of what happens overseas, she'll be taking a break from the Aussie spotlight. "I am going to be finished dancing in about four weeks, which is weird,'' she said. "I think I am definitely going to leave the country for a while, because, I don't know, I am sick of seeing my face everywhere, let alone you guys.'' Gallery: Nat Bass's gorgeous water shoot for her new single. The 1000 Stars album entered the ARIA chart at number one and her first two singles, Alive and Someday Soon, made it into the top 10. The third single is expected to follow suit. "I've had insane success ... but not in a million years did I think that was going to happen. I'm just floored.'' It is little wonder Bassingthwaighte has been described as the busiest woman in Australian show business. The star host of hit Ten television show So You Think You Can Dance and former Neighbours actress also has her first feature film - Pray - due for release in May and she began a national tour in Wollongong last week.nd is set to perform in venues around Sydney throughout April

Delta Goodrem snubs Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix
The gossip rags have turned against Our Delta (well, as much as they’re willing to) and have begun questioning why she announced she was too ill to perform at the Grand Prix, but somehow ended up hanging out with me at The Corner Hotel before shaking her groove thing at a nightclub in Melbourne. What gives? Her goodgirl reputation is hanging in the balance as Delta Goodrem fans try to work out what happened to the popstar when she called in sick at the Australian F1 Grand Prix on Sunday and went out clubbing. Thousands of fans were left disappointed when Goodrem failed to front to sing the national anthem. Citing a sore throat and a case of laryngitis, she sent her apologies and made her-self scarce. But only hours later, Goodrem was seen partying into the wee hours at several Melbourne nightclubs. Since I now consider myself part of the whole Delta/Brian/Molly/Ruby Rose/Hirsute Dude From Rogue Traders crew, I feel I should speak up for my new friend Delta. Could it be that Delta really was feeling under the weather? And poor Brian McFadden, desperately in love and worried about his darling fiancé, spent hours trying to nurse her back to health, but nothing could heal her? And then Molly Meldrum, a caring chap who is always there for his mates, stopped by the hotel to check in on the extremely ill Delta? And knowing how powerful the music of Sia can be, Molly suggested they gently lift Delta from her bed and carry her to The Corner Hotel to listen to Sia’s magical tunes in the hope that Delta could gain strength from the beauty of Sia’s songwriting? And because the gig was sold out, they had to call Ruby Rose and ask her if she could get Delta on the door with her MTV Australia connections? And Sia’s music did miraculously fix our Delta right up, but not in time to perform at the Grand Prix? And maybe Molly thought a drink or two at a Melbourne nightclub after the show would make Delta feel better about not singing about girt by sea? I MEAN, IT COULD HAVE GONE DOWN THAT WAY. STOP PICKING ON OUR DELTA! AND PRAISE BE TO SIA, SHE IS OUR GOD NOW. http://www.defamer.com.au/2009/03/possible...the-grand-prix/

Delta Goodrem snubs Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix
Last night I went to see Sia perform at The Corner. The CSS remix of Buttons is currently being flogged on the national youth broadcaster, and this Australian tour was presented by NOVA and MTV (I know!), so unsurprisingly it was a sell out show. And also packed with famous people! Here what happened. - Before the gig actually kicked off, a small tattooed lass with a delightful hat walked into the rooftop bar, and the head of every bi-curious girl in the room began spinning excitedly. Hello, Ruby Rose! I actually heard the words “I REALLY WANT TO GO DOWN ON RUBY ROSE!” coming from the mouth of a sweet young blonde girl next to me. Unbelievable. - Then we wandered downstairs for the show, and I had a quick chat to some of the staff (I host the Wednesday night trivia there, so The Corner is like my second home). After I remarked about the splash Ruby Rose was making upstairs, one of the bar guys said “Yeah, and did you see Delta Goodrem?” - I walked into the band room and immediately bumped into Delta Goodrem. Sorry, Delta. - Oooh, who is that tall Irish guy gesturing in Delta’s direction, trying to get her attention as he lines up at the bar? Hello, Brian McFadden! - At this point, I should probably mention that Sia was fantastic, goofy, endearing, and wonderful. - The same cannot be said for the ill-bred bogans surrounding me, burping their salami-infused breath in my vicinity, shouting conversations into my ear (eg “Oi, you big fanna this bird? I dunno ‘er, just fawt I’d cumman cheggidowt, ya know? She’s orright, innshee?”) during quiet songs I had been hoping to enjoy, and generally elbowing and jostling about in a most punchable way. Add to that a girl on pills who clearly believed she was Sia and insisted on singing along loudly (and badly) to every single goddamn song, and I was not the happiest panda in the zoo. - But Sia? Delightful. Sounded perfect, was clever with the quips (after an audience member yelled “TAKE IT OFF!” at her, she grabbed her boobs and said “They look just like your mum’s…”), and altogether charmed the pants off Melbourne. - ‘Breathe Me’ gave me chills. - And a huge number of people in the room watched this breathtaking performance through a small screen on the back of their camera. People! If you want to see YouTube sized footage of a Sia concert, stay at home and watch YouTube! You’ve made it out of the house, and the real thing is literally metres in front of you delivering a perfectly good live performance, and you’re so busy capturing it for the future with your digital camera, you’re not even experiencing it in the present moment! - After the show, we went back to the front bar. - Where Ruby Rose and Delta Goodrem were catching up. - And Molly Meldrum sat drinking at a table. - And one of the dudes from Rogue Traders looked hirsute. - I’d run into Jess McAvoy at the show, and as we lined up at the front bar for a beer, she whispered in my ear “My arm is resting against Molly Meldrum’s arm!” - Now Jess McAvoy has Molly Meldrum’s powers. And then I touched her, so now I have them. - Apparently a security guard screamed with shock and delight as they were stamping Delta’s wrist and looked up and realised who she was. - Apparently Brian tried to light a cigarette in the front bar! Naughty Brian, you’re not in Ireland now! Outside with you! - Apparently Delta asked staff for help slipping out the side door because people were being mean to Molly Meldrum during the show. - How could anyone be mean to Molly Meldrum? Have people no RESPECT? Goddamn it, if Molly is good enough for Barack, I think he should be good enough for the rest of us. - Also, do you not love the fact that Delta, Brian, and Molly all hang out together? I do. I love it a lot. - Oh hey, guess what? Ruby Rose and Jess Veronicas are JUST FRIENDS. For realsies. And you know I’d tell you the truth. I think that is it. Good concert, Sia! Dare I say it was SoGoodrem? HAHAHAHAHAHA Eight thumbs up!

Delta Goodrem snubs Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix
Delta Goodrem snubs Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix Herald Sun March 31, 2009 12:01am HER goodgirl reputation is hanging in the balance as Delta Goodrem fans try to work out what happened to the popstar when she called in sick at the Australian F1 Grand Prix on the weekend and went out clubbing. Goodrem made a miraculous recovery and hit the town that night with boyfriend Brian McFadden, Molly Meldrum and MTV presenter Ruby Rose. Revellers said the celebrity group arrived at an inner Melbourne nightclub about 1am (AEDT). Goodrem stayed for about an hour at the club where F1 drivers Jenson Button and Nelson Piquet Jr were also partying. Goodrem earlier threw GP organisers into a spin when she pulled out of singing the anthem at 11.40am. The Grand Prix snub came after Goodrem's team had contacted the Grand Prix several weeks earlier and offered her services to sing the anthem. She was not paid for the performance but it is understood the Grand Prix Corporation offered her and McFadden business class airfares, VIP hospitality at the track, and threw in a ride in an F1 Minardi for McFadden valued at $7000. McFadden was a no show for the much sought-after ride. -_-
