  1. I better not say a word about this whole thing called world tour, because I'd have to censure everything I'd say.
  2. All of this was amazing, omg, I had special feeling just watching it on tv. I couldn't even imagine be in a place like that. He should drop out Hot Fudge and Kids, bring back Tripping and No Regrets. That's all I'd change. But, with Karma Killer everything was perfect. And I like Not Like The Others much more now, than I did before. Also, Be a Boy is a 3rd single then? And one more thing, what happened with Gary, wasn't he supposed to be there?
  3. I love your review Sparkle!  And I'm so going to watch it live tonight on my tv! Some Hungarian tv channel will broadcast it and I'm lucky to live near, so I can catch their signal. Happy time will start in an hour! :w00t: About his singing skills, he is doing great, except for Angels. I do believe he can sing it so much better, but he don't want to. And I don't know the reason why. -_-
  4. At least you can be stressed about that. I can only hope he knows where Serbia is.
  5. Okay, so I'm doing it again, since now I heard the whole thing! 1. Be A Boy - 7/10 - I wasn't impressed with it at first, but it is really good album opener and lyrics "They said it was leaving me - The magic was leaving me - I don’t think so" are one of the main reasons for that. 2. Gospel - 8/10 - Firstly I liked it a lot more than Different and thought it must be 2nd single, but now I'm convinced that he made a good choice with Different. Very good verses. I like "... go f**k yourself" part, it fits nice. :kink: 3. Candy - 5/10 - I don't know what to think about this one. It was a good choice for 1st single, that's for sure, because I'm sure he picked up some new young (well, very young) fans with it. But, it is childish and I can't deny it. It is a bit better when he sings it live, it looks like good joke and a feelgood song. 4. Different - 9/10 - I like here verses more than chorus, but still, overall it is very positive opinion. And I didn't expected I'd like it that much. Such a good part is at the end at 3:57. I just hope they will not cut that part on the single, because that would make me very angry. -_- Also, a girl from Serbia will be in the video :w00t: , she will play violin, with couple of more girls... I hope she told him that he needs to come in Serbia. -_- She told that shooting the video was very interesting and that she will remember Robbie as a funny guy. 5. S**t On The Radio - 3/10 - I can tolerate that music, which isn't something innovative anyway, but those lyrics are just bad. 6. All That I Want - 4/10 - Poor computer music there, not great lyrics imo, but I can't get it out of my head. 7. Hunting For You - 8.5/10 - Again, better verses than chorus, but overall very good work. It starts very good and I like how Robbie described how he imagines to sing the chorus. Now I have that feeling listening to it. Great lyrics and melody in this part: "Everything I like’s illegal, seductive - Addictive in my world, corrosive, destructive - But I’ve got kind words in my heart." 8. Into The Silence - 10/10 - Is there something I didn't tell about this song by now? I think there's no chance it will be a single, but then, on the other side, why not? If Morning Sun could be, why not this song? I'm also afraid he won't sing it live, because it have some hard parts... Also, he said it that interview that it is not going to be a single and that he will probably won't sing it live. I'm really hoping he is reading some opinions on the official site, since this song is the most favorite, I'd say... It is very powerful at 3:31. 9. Hey Wow Yeah Yeah - 2/10 - This disgrace didn't even deserve to be mentioned here. It can only be decent for a car commercial. Music is even tolerable, but those words (yeah words, not lyrics) are a shame for whoever wrote them. 10. Not Like The Others - 5.5/10 - It's ok, I guess... I have no special opinion for this song. 11. Losers (feat. Lissie) - 5/10 - Only because it's a cover. I can't help myself while listening to it and enjoying those lyrics and then thinking they're not his. :( 12. Reverse - 6/10 - Should be on regular edition instead S**t or that other s**t called Hey, but then deluxe edition might get one of those s**ts and that wouldn't be fair. Like this, it's a nice review for buying a deluxe edition. 13. Eight Letters - 6/10 - He wrote this song right? If it's like this, I give him credits for beautiful lyrics, but I'm a bit used on Gary's version and this one needs to get into my ears. Also, the thing that in Rob's version we only have piano isn't helping, I need better music here, like on TT album. So, based on my scores somebody could probably think I'm not liking the album. But, I really do, and I'm so happy with it. It's so much better than Reality Killed The Video Star and of course Rudebox. Only similarity with Escapology I hear in those two bad songs and that similarity he didn't brought well (like for example U2 similarity in Into The Silence). I wanted another Escapology, yes... But, I got something good anyway. I give it 8/10 overall and if you ask me, Robbie can take the crown back. ^_^ Also, I got an e-mail today that my deluxe edition has been shipped and I'll probably get it this week! :w00t: I ordered Escapology with it also, couldn't help myself with being nostalgic. P.S. I shouldn't post this review on official site, should I? I wasn't really nice.
  6. BBC 2 just played Into the Silence. It's different from what I would expect when I heard only preview, but still beautiful.
  7. Okay, I guess there isn't a better way in "breaking the silence" but to comment new Robbie album. ^_^ So, this is an opinion based on previews only (minus Candy, obviously)... Be a Boy - Does nothing to me... Just ok, but still way better than Sh** on the Radio and Hey Bla Bla Blah, of course... Gospel - It's good one. And it actually may work nice as 2nd single. It'd be much better choice for that purpose than Different. Candy - Song for a kindergarten. Sure, it can be catchy and it's cool to catch it on a radio, but that's not Robbie I like. Different - I totally agree with Sparkle at this one, it's reminds me on Robbie's song, but I can't figure out which one... Sh** on the Radio - Useless sh**. All That I Want - Slightly better than Be a Boy... Hunting For You - Quite good tune, want to hear the rest... Into the Silence - Now, that was the love at first reading of the song title. Seriously, the title sounded like something I'd like for sure. Also, it was love at first listen. I agree with Sperkle again, this have U2 written all over it, which is really great thing. He MUST sing this live, MUST! Should be a single definitely, but I doubt he'll pick out that move. Hey Wow Yeah Yeah - Hey, what?  :puke2: Totally a song not for a b-side (because Robbie's b-sides are great), but for a f-side (which doesn't exist, and so should this song) Not Like the Others - Read Be a Boy description... Losers - If it were a Robbie's song, I'd say good, but I don't like covers, there's not enough effort in this, so I think I'll pass it most of the time. Reverse - Have that potential that it can be very listenable on my speakers. ^_^ Eight Letters - Seems like Robbie's version is more minimalistic (only piano there, right?), and that fact I don't like in this case. Overall, at first listening all songs seemed the same (of course except that beautiful Into the Silence), but now I'm starting to see a difference more. Though, this album already sounds overproduced, which most artists do nowadays and it can be a bit annoying. He didn't do that in Into the Silence and song is great right away.
  8. Thank you. :cheer: This is my cake: http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p95/robfan1/cake.jpg Because Placebo is my favourite band and this is their logo http://a3.l3-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/85/df352ed882fb427693b0fbf4d686267a/l.jpg
  9. It's bassist from Muse, Chris. I knew he likes football, but couldn't imagine he would meet Robbie. Great. ^_^ And I can't say the same thing for Robbie's look... That beard, urgh... -_-
  10. I also saw the picture on my mobile phone, but when I wanted to see it on my laptop it was already gone. I thought I'm seeing things...
  11. That's funniest thing I have read/heard today. And I share your opinion. I discuss all the time with friends that he really is that tall, even if he doesn't look. And those pants aren't helping a bit. I seriously hate them.
  12. http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv236/skye_034/Happy-Birthday-.gif All the best! :D
  13. Happy birthday! :funky: :yahoo: :cheer:
  14. SOS look absolutely crazy live! I'm impressed, to be honest. :D It's such a nice refresh to hear and see something live other than The Flood.
  15. I think it's a good thing they let Jason to sing Flowerbed, as he seems all that sensitive, just like the song... And, I realized I like instrumental of Eight Letters. So, it's a good song, just without words. :heehee: Words are nice and all, but when I listen it it's like a song for good night, and instrumental is much better.
  16. Best The Flood performance so far. I love everything about it. Though, I do know what TT fans probably think of it. I love how confused was Mark and when he took Robbie's part. And Robbie on 3:33 is like "I'm here, all alone, and I'm the best, the most famous, you don't need anybody else... " Not to mention microphone thing. And this 2nd video is really impressing vocally. :o
  17. I think that not any of bands shops are pricey like this shop. Seems like they know how to make money. Anyway, if anyone wants to buy me Angels heart that would be awesome!
  18. Really? Then I picked the wrong one. :teresa:
  19. This performance I like. :D Much more then CIN. I think Robbie puts much more effort in singing with TT. Because I watched his performance of Angels recently and that isn't that good comparing how good he is singing The Flood.
  20. Seriously, it can't be worse then Pretty Things and Affirmation. Hate those two instead! :P
  21. I discovered that I sometimes skip Eight Letters, Pretty Things (well, of course) and Affirmation. And I will vote for What Do You Want From Me. I'll be that one vote! Just that you all know. But The Flood is the best. ^_^
  22. Can somebody please tell me the difference between this Progress regular and deluxe edition? Of course, when you receive it...
