I think there are a couple more with 9 of the 10 that haven't been mentioned "Pretend" by Nat King Cole "Wonderwall" by Oasis Both just missing a number one.

"Jimmy Cooks" by Drake featuring 21 Savage appears to be missing from each weekly chart (e.g. https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/singl...t/20220805/7501 has No. 31 completely missing)
  3. "By Your Side" isn't nothing we haven't heard multiple times before from Calvin, but to be fair it must be difficult to keep coming up with something original almost 50 singles into a career.
  4. How can it be a mixtape if it's just one artist? Surely a mixtape is, by definition, a mixture?
  5. One of the weaker tracks on "Sour". Not really sure why this is getting this much support. Rather hear "3 Steps Forward...." or "Hope UR Ok" over this.
  6. "Watermelon Sugar" still sounds good, except it goes on for about 30 seconds too long.
  7. First time hearing "Transparent Soul" and it sounds really good.
  8. Can't imagine Mimi Webb on a "Banger". Must listen later.
  9. That's what I've been thinking for weeks. Seems like we are in the minority though
  10. Surprised it took into June for the first Irish act to enter the Top 40,
  11. "Confetti" is a horrible mish-mash of a song. Little Mix's worst single by a long way.
  12. Well duh! Who do you think provides the bulk of the finances to the OCC?
  13. Doesn't really feel like "Deja Vu" has been around for 7 weeks.
  14. "Confetti" sounds like four unrelated songs bolted together (not very well)
  15. Liking "Black Hole" right now.
  16. Yeah, there was one poster on the ACR status thread that was getting really bent out of shape that it just missed out on getting a reset to SCR, saying it was going to cost it getting to Number One.
  17. Sounds like Scott is playing 2 minutes of a lot of records rather than skipping so many today.
  18. Missed last week, so this is the first time I've heard "Summer 91" - BORRRRRRRRRRRING. Heard this sort of thing thousands of times before.
  19. Yes, the most Top 100 weeks without making the Top 40 I can find is Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" with 32 weeks and a peak of 42.
  20. "Martin & Gina" has entered the top 50 for the first time, reaching a new peak of No. 48 on its thirtieth week on chart. The only records to take 30 chart weeks or longer to reach their peak: Artist - Title Peak Weeks Needed Mariah Carey - "All I Want For Christmas Is You" 1 98 Wham! - "Last Christmas" 1 83 Christina Perri - "A Thousand Years" 11 57 Amy Winehouse - "Back To Black" 8 54 Elbow - "One Day Like This" 4 54 Chris Rea - "Driving Home For Christmas" 11 50 Journey - "Don't Stop Believin'" 6 42 Elton John - "Step Into Christmas" 8 38 Portugal The Man - "Feel It Still" 3 33 Ariana Grande - "One Last Time" 2 32 Ed Sheeran - "Photograph" 15 32 AJ Tracey - "Ladbroke Grove" 3 31 Ed Sheeran - "Perfect" 1 30 Polo G - "Martin & Gina" 48 30 "Feel It Still" is the only one to do it in a single chart run. "Last Christmas" weeks excludes a further 13 weeks as a double A-side with "Everything She Wants"
  21. Tom Zanetti featuring Sadie Ama - You Want Me - (28 Weeks) 29/09/2016 -94-x(5)-99-72-72-34-25-26-27-29-32-27-{22}-24-26-24-27-33-44-67-75-63-87-90-89-83-99-100-100
  22. Has he been convicted of anything? If not, he is indeed presumed innocent until proven guilty, no matter how horrible the accusations.

The very fact that a mid-table team, Arsenal, are in on this proves that this is not about sporting excellence or even basic merit, just money money money.

I don't think The Killers have been mentioned on this thread yet, but they've had three records peak higher than "Mr Brightside", only one of which ("Human") is anywhere near as remembered (in my opinion anyway)
  25. There was lots of Fleetwood Mac programming on BBC2 (I think) last Saturday night. Don't know if that was the whole reason, but it undoubtedly would have helped.
