  2. Correct. See http://www.mixmag.net/words/news/altern-8-...tmas-number-one

Knowing who she is and caring about her new album is something completely different
  4. He's dropped (relative to Lily) in 9 of the last 10 kworb updates, including the most recent one

At least he will probably be better than Leona Lewis
  6. Oh I don't know about that - "Story Of My Life" has held up pretty well - 4-5-8 - with all the new entries above it each week

It does seem a lot longer than one year ago when he won...
  8. I think you're off the mark with the Slade track there - the 1980 Reading festival re-hash only had two weeks at number 70 so won't have added much to the sales total at all, and all the annual "re-issues" were after that.
  9. Well 12 hit singles including 6 number ones isn't a bad resumé, isn't it?
  10. That's all right, he won't be Number One in the world, only the UK. If you don't want to live in a country where Gary Barlow is number one, there's a couple of hundred other ones for you to go to. Get your passport ready.
  11. It was in the charts in 1982 at the same time as a track called "Christmas Rapping" by someone calling himself Dizzy Heights.
  12. Was Ze records linked to Island at the point of original release? Did Ze have sufficient distribution to get stock to shops? Did it not get played on radio so nobody knew of it's existence? It was sort of hidden away on Side 2 of "A Christmas Record"
  13. Shame it's not the Barlow/Agnetha duet from the Children In Need Rocks concert.
  14. Didn't Reggie step down from the chart show on his own accord?
  15. Shame they have to sink to doing cover vesions to get there though.
  16. Wasn't Dionne Bromfield a "co-presenter" for one week a few months back?
  17. They did in the original post, otherwise Alexandra Burke has only 1 number one.
  18. So only people who are currently unemployed are at home to watch daytime television? What about people who are seriously ill? Or caring for such a relative? I see you have been awarded the Poster Who Reperesents The Worst Of Buzzjack 1 time. Sounds like you are on course for number 2. (and mods, this is the toned down version of what I would really like to post here)
  19. Well if it wasn't a joke it was a remark made in very bad taste.
  20. It was heavily featured in Children In Need last night sung my a mass of children's choirs around the country.
  21. Same as I said to a poster yesterday, one simple google query will give you the reason for Georgina Anderson's surge up the charts.
  22. I never mentioned Wikipedia, I mentioned Google. Particularly Google News. Look her up, she died today.
  23. A quick google in the time it took you to write that post would have told you all you need to know
  24. Why would "I Drove All Night" featuring as track 2 make it seem like a Double A-side? If it's only got "One Heart" on the cover I think that pretty much confirms that was the A-side and "I Drove All Night" was a B-side
  25. The OCC database, Polyhex, both the last Guinness & Virgin books have it just "One Heart" charting, no mention of a double A side
