Of course, he played the "collaboration card" very well, with four of those chart toppers being as a featured artist. Nevertheless it's an impressive total, which puts him into very rarified territory, with only 15 acts ever having more, and is second only to Eminem in terms of rappers. "Pass Out" was a huge hit, even if some of the lyrics are a little bizzare - "I got so many clothes I keep some in my aunt's house", rhyming "Concorde" and "Scunthorpe" for a couple of examples. To be fair, his rap style did mature as the years went by Some of his later hits sound like two separate records spliced together for no apparent reason rather than something that has been designed to be one composition from the beginning, the Jess Glynne collaboration "Not Letting Go" being a prime example.
