(28 points) Here's the winner! 'Sound Of The Underground' tops the countdown, beating 'Viva Forever' by one point. It's quite interesting that that no one actually gave this song top points but it manages to win after receiving FIVE 29 points. I do really like this song, but not enough to actually give it points myself, it's probably my 4th favourite Girls Aloud song, I knew it would do very well so I'm not disappointed with its win here. The song pretty much led throughout the whole thing until the last few votes where 'Viva Forever' overtook. But after receiving 24 points from Slick, it reclaimed #1 in the last set of votes. Such a BEAUTIFUL song, definitely my favourite Spice Girls song and one I still play it quite regularly. For me, Spice Girls is the very definition of the ultimate girl group and I'm pleased that this of all their songs has done the best. Despite losing out by one point, I didn't actually expect it to be top three! SIDE NOTE: The video is honestly so WEIRD. Firstly, I've thought for YEARS that the one who gets trapped in the rubix cube was a girl only to find out from someone on Twitter today that it's actually a BOY! Secondly, how on EARTH does the other one explain to their parents that he's stuck in a rubix cube?! And thirdly, the younger boy has some SERIOUS SKILLS completely that rubix cube to quickly. So many questions.

'Biology' which got to #4 in the UK charts is the only song in the top five that didn't make it to #1 officially. ALSO. VEVO HATE NICOLA :( She's been cropped out of pretty much the WHOLE video. I'm gutted they've split. 200 km/h is one of my favourite albums, I pretty much adore every song on that album. All their other albums are fantastic too, 'Fly On The Wall' is a tuneee. Yulia looks horrific now!

'Pure Shores' finishes at #4. It was predicted by quite a few of you to at least be top two, if not win the whole thing. However, it's not even made it to the top three and is WAY off the scores from the two songs at #1 and #2. This is probably the biggest shock in the countdown for me, in the nomination round this song was way ahead of pretty much every other song, but its fanz obviously haven't shown up for the voting stage. :( An absolute beautiful song, amazingly produced and sounds just as incredible as it did when it was released in 2000. Honestly shocked it's 'only' 4th. The film 'The Beach', for which is was on the soundtrack on, is also pretty amazing, I watched it a couple of weeks ago! So this leaves two Girls Aloud songs and a Spice Girls song in the final three!

Yeah, I do pretty agree with this. It seems to be quite a popular track with people I know that wouldn't usually be a fan of Girls Aloud. They have some much stronger songs in their back catalogue though :(

This absolute STOMPER of a tune was #1 for four weeks in February 2003 (nine years ago! :o). The song itself is my absolute favourite song ever and t.A.T.u are probably in my top ten acts of all time. I'm VERY pleased to see it come in the top 5, I knew it would do pretty well, but I didn't expect 5th for them.

By far their best songs and personally I think it deserves to be as high as it is. It's one of my favourite pop songs from 2008 and still sounds just as amazing. 'Up' received the second highest amount of votes with 24, only beaten by the winner of the whole thing who received 25. I miss their coloured leggings look.

At #9 is Sugababes final song in the countdown. I'm actually surprised that they really haven't done as well as they usually do. Maybe they've been tarnished by the pretty dreadful 4.0 version. I'm not surprised that 'About You Now' is their highest song, despite in my opinion being one of their weaker #1s let alone singles.
