I just feel like those songs, while massive hits, weren't a staple in conversation 3 years after release. Womanizer went #1 in America and TTWE top 3. Smashes here yet only 'Womanizer' is only remembered because it was her 'back to form' single. Meanwhile, 'Work Bitch' peaked at #12, yet has continued to be a topic of discussion still 3 years after the fact. The gay community has completely embraced it after its influence from Ru Paul. It's more of the token gay anthem then'Born This Way' without even trying.

Is it just the USA or does it seem like 'Work Bitch' is quite possibly her most memorable smash since the 'Blackout' era? Yeah 'Womanizer' was huge, massive in fact. 'Till The World Ends' remains a staple in top 40 playlists. But there is a difference in radio playlists and general public memory. I judge a committee on American football (sorry they called it that idk? Why not tackle ball?) cheerleading teams. And WORK BITCH WAS USED IN EVERY TEAMS ROUTINE. 40 FINALISTS. EACH TIME. The hurricane hit us and I volunteered for clean up. I KID YOU NOT, THIS 40 YEAR OLD WOMAN HAS WORK BITCH BLARING OUT OF HER CAR 20 FEET AWAY. A-Yo is SO SUBPAR. I mean even in comparison to 'Perfect Illusion' (which I love but it's not mainstream accessible in comparison to all of her previous singles) its weak. It's equivalent to 'Manicure' or 'Eh Eh' in the vein that it should be a 7-8/10 great album track and not one of the few valid choices for second single. DIC IS THE ONLY NEXT SINGLE CHOICE. Best track on the album and I'd rate that a 9/10. Only 10/10 moment for me is 'Angel Down' I'm liking the album a bit more as I force myself to re listen. But it doesn't feel like the album I wanted from her and perhaps that is my own issue. Perhaps I only love Lady Gaga's music and not Joanne's. This album just doesn't channel the freedom and bravery her last albums exemplified, but I think that is what set her apart. Joanne seems caged to me, you & I is similar to this genre, but it's superior to 90% of this album. But, I respect her as an artist 100%. Her current vision or sound just doesn't speak to me. Good for her on releasing a project that is completely her vision and not a rehash on the current trends. See you next album Gaga.

Gaga from The Fame - Born This Way is just ICONIC. Britney owned the pop stratosphere from 98 -08, then Gaga took over from 09 - 12. And now we are in the era of Beyoncé (maybe Rihanna?). I need someone else to come in and REVIVE POP MUSIC. Because I don't want to live in a world where Katy Perry is seen as any type of pioneer for the genre. WHY JOANNE. WHY. -goes back to trying to like the album-

This. I'm here for a Tinashe feature as she would add a cool vibe to the slumber party. But, unless it's Rihanna, Tinashe or Gaga from the noughties, I'm over features. I really think 'Love Me Down' should have been the lead single with 'Make Me' being a fabulous fall release.

FItting place for betta

I expectations were pretty high. I mean she is my favorite pop artist after Britney and madonna. This album just sounds like a bunch of rejects she came up with before she got signed. They sound unfinished and unpolished. Her voice is still great however the music just is not for me. Only love 'Perfect Illusion'. Two good tracks outside of that. Ps - Artpop is amazing and on 'In The Zone' and 'Ray of Light' levels after this. I will forever treasure 2008- 2013 gaga. Still love her as a person and actress though.

I'm sorry I love her. But, this is quite possibly the worst album of the year for me.

UNDERRATED AF as Kye said. That song is euphoria in audio form. And the music video is f***ing awesome, those fight scenes the white dress scenes. Just phenomenal. The lack of promo tainted its release, as well as them teasing the video for WAY too long. Imagine how much 'Femme Fatale' would have smashed if she were doing the QUALITY promo she is doing now. Fantastic release. The entire era was an 11/10 music wise.

Ps - HTFY is a major grower, I adore it now. Solid 9/10.
