I would love to see this back, but I think the show is a bit strained with the many episodes. I mean most of the Gallagher clan have moved on, meaning the McGuires have took over (not that I mind Jamie ;)) Also I found the storyline with the copper and Debbie the young girl very creepy which shows the shows shine is wearing off. Perhaps limit the series to eight episodes then just bring it back for the odd short run.
  2. I like: Pop Eurodance Rock - mainly from the 70s and 90s. I absolutely love Glam Rock! Heavy Metal Classical Opera Motown 80s and 90s Soul Some Indie music Electropop Reggaee I even like the odd bit of folk! I am not fond off: EMO - Please! It's too whiney and the people need to lighten up and enjoy life. It's not proper rock music, and without the guitars I am sure they'd be run of the mill boybands. 00s R and B - Too boring, whiney and forgettable. Rap - A bunch of mysgonists and homophobes rapping they've got a big c**k and all this bling. I have to admit, I prefer rap done by a female. Garage Happy Hardcore Protentious bull such as ColdPlay Also don't ostracise me for this but I am not a fan of singer-songwriters such as Duffy, Adele, Gabreilla Climi and the like. The only one I can tolerate is James Blunt.

This Sasha storyline is really making Hollyoaks c**p at the moment. I'd give the b**ch a months worth of drugs just so she could OD and dissappear off the screen. It seems being a "young Valentine" - the actors playing Sonny and Danny being fired is a bit of a poisoned chalice and is being awarded to youngsters who just get arrogant as they spend time in the soap. What's the betting the actor who plays Danny gets involved in wrong-doing off the set in real life like Sonny did? I hope this Newt thing ends too - lock him up!

I agree. I'll said it before on other forums and talking to people and I'll say it again - they are turning Eastenders very slowly into The Brannings. Me and my sister were joking that the makers of the show joke to the likes of Shirley, Heather and Big Mo that "it'll be your turn soon", as it seems a lot of characters are pushed into the background or out of the picture completely. Another theory that comes into mind is The Brannings are "marketable". Tanya a rather good looking woman, Jack a good looking bloke - well whatever you want to decide there. Max - the "villian" wanting revenge, Dot the eccentric and lovelable old woman and Stacey - sexy young woman. On top of that Lauren and Abi faces fit as a pair of brats caught in the crossfire. It seems the makers are using these to their advantage over the other soaps as this story and those said characters are their draw to get people to watch it. The thing is, people aren't interested. I really thought after the buried alive story, that would be it and we'd move on from seeing it. Oh no, we have to have Max's revenge, Tanya unwilling not to go without c**k for a while and dating his brother and lord knows what else. It's been nearly two years this storyline has been going on, and it's about time it came to a head. Whats the betting they drag this on until Christmas?

I'll land up watching, even if the show is old hat. In the audition rounds - watch this be the formula: Deluded wannabee - a run of no's - good singer - a run of yes's - an oddball - male/female on a journey or had a tragedy e.g. goldfish died - they become successful to the 2nd round. Expect the stereotypical gay guy every week too *rolleyes* Do ITV think we are idiots? Why not a week in each city e.g. London, Birmingham, Glasgow etc and mix and match it. Not have it "Good for TV". I suppose if the winner is bad and helped out by political voting - e.g. Leon expect the song to be Christmas #1 :( Simon Cowell - the Vladmir Putin of the music industry. Whatever he wants - he gets. Wouldn't surprise me if he pays the chart company money to keep that song as the Christmas #1.

It is a bit desperate isnt it? I know Cliff has been going on for a while, but this seems to stink of publicity stunt to mark the 50th anniversary of his career. "Wired For Sound" is his best song, despite the very hilarious video with the people in Power Rangers suits on rollerskates :D

I think this has failure written all over it. I could understand if they based it on Joe or Quagmire even the Goldmans, but Cleveland - he's not that popular. The whole concept of the show seems doomed, and is just the main show recycled in a bad format.

  14. 00s by far. It's too bland, samey and there is little to appeal.

Steve Brookstein's 2nd single "Chasing Butterflies" deservedly flopped at #175!
  16. Confession time here: Westlife *awaits being throw heavy items at him* I liked the first three albums + the Greatest Hits. I still think "Tonight" is the best song they've ever done and one of the best songs of 2003. I went off them after the "Mandy" cover and the endless blandness that followed after it. Why can't they give up?

I have found many a bargain in charity shops with CDs and even cassettes. My best purchase was a rare CD single of "Mama/Who do you think you are" by the Spice Girls! Yesterday when I visited my friend in Lincoln, he found an album of Celia Lawson! (She was Portugal's 1997 representive in Eurovision and got 0)
  18. I personally don't mind them. They are just there to have fun and their music makes a change to all the depressing emo acts like Fallout Boy and R and B. They started off well, but it went downhill for them briefly when the second album was released. I just hope all works out for them with their own record label and fair play releasing a free album :)
