  1. Today, Marcus is going up against BB9's Rex in the electrifying task from last year's show, the steady hand challenge. They must both negotiate a copper wire course, set up in the garden, without allowing the wand to touch the wire. Each time the wand touches the wire, all BB10 Housemates apart from Marcus will receive a mild electric shock and whichever competitor is negotiating the course must return to the beginning. Rex and Marcus have one hour each to complete the course and, to win the challenge, Marcus must successfully negotiate the buzz course in a faster time than Rex. If either Rex or Marcus does not complete the course, their attempt will be judged on the furthest distance they achieve.

Each BB10 Housemate that wears their muscle simulator pads and shiny suits for the duration of the challenge will win a token. If Marcus successfully completes the course he will also receive one token.

Earlier Marcus was waiting by the bus stop in the garden as Big Brother announced for Rex to enter the garden. Rex introduced himself to Marcus and comments "you finally got to wear your X-Men outfit." Marcus took this in good spirit and laughed. Rex went over to the window to greet fellow housemates who all waved and cheered.

Marcus told Rex that he had promised his mates that he would "punch" him if they ever met and play-punched Rex in the stomach. Marcus asks him various questions and Rex keeps quiet but tells him to "keep on" where Noirin is concerned. Marcus smiled.

As Rex began the task Marcus tells him not to "f**k up" and hints that he and his fellow housemates have no food. It's not long before some of the housemates scream as Rex begins his part of the task - badly - clearly enjoying himself as they shrieked and screamed with each shock.

Ergh and the prick telling Marcus to "keep on" <_<

  2. Gobsmacked that Beau Bridges is the only Desperate Housewives nomination. What a snub.

Also Betty White get nommed for Ugly Betty - yea it was funny but an Emmy nomintion?!

Vanessa Williams should win her award

  3. Rex has just entered :D I cant stand him - I'm just super excited for this task :cheer:

I hope Rex remembers to respect the house and the furniture and the world or Rodrigo will have something to say about it :P

  4. Big Brother got tough with them :o

Last night Housemates staged a rebellion and this morning awoke to find they have been punished by Big Brother.

Following visits from Nikki Grahame and Brian Belo yesterday Housemates were in an exuberant mood. Both Nikki and Brian listened to Housemates complaining about the lack of alcohol and their basic rations and encouraged them to take a stand and bargain with Big Brother.

Following the end of Brian's task Marcus, Noirin, Halfwit and Siavash climbed on the garden perimeter and tried to look over the walls of the house, shouting to the outside world.

After Big Brother repeatedly asked Housemates to climb down from the perimeter roof they clambered back into the garden and went into the Diary Room to demand a party, threatening to rebel if this demand was not granted. Big Brother refused Housemates demands and so they protested by playing with fire extinguishers in the garden and spraying the two-way mirrors with water to distort the camera image.

The continued to try to reek havoc on the house throwing the bath, mangle and other items into the pool. After a frenetic hour Housemates gave up their protest and played nicely in the pool.

This morning Housemates awoke to find all the fixtures and fittings in the House have been removed. All of the furniture in the living room, sitting room and garden has been taken away and the pool has been covered up.

Commenting that the house has returned to the bare state it was in when they first arrived Housemates reacted very differently to the punishment.

Noirin was delighted and shouted "there is more space to play games" whilst Rodrigo was furious with the rest of the house for breaking the rules and getting everyone punished.

Karly, Siavash and Halfwit ran to the kitchen to check that their food had not been removed and were relieved to find their basic rations still there. Halfwit yelled in defiance "They may take our chairs, but they can never take our seasonings".

Housemates have not been informed about how long the punishment will last.

  5. Well my current ranking is:

    1. Half-Blood Prince

    2. Prisoner of Azkban

    3. Order of the Phoenix

    4. Chamber of Secrets

    5. Goblet of Fire

    6. Philosophers Stone

I just cant watch PS now lol, and the final 30 mins of Goblet IMO save it from being disasterous. Never let Mike Newell near a camera again please.

  6. You thought I wouldn't like it? Why? :heehee: Or do you mean you thought I'd go into a big analysis?

    Both :heehee:

Just when I posted my review I thought maybe I was being too full on with praise and most people would be like WTF with it :kink:

Dunno think I imagined you as somone who wouldn't like the changes from the book but delighted to see I was wrong!

I'm fighting a loosing battle with haters on IMDB tonight

  7. Helena (Bellatrix Lestrange?) is at Shell Cottage when Hermione takes the polyjuice potion and transforms into her (which is why Ron is also dressed like that, he accompanies her).

Pics look fantastic! And similar to the novel to (esp the wedding). Altho, I hope that the Dobby scene is part of the Deathly Hallows II. If not, that would mean all the good shiz is happening in the 1st movie, unless they really want to drag on Gringotts & Battle Of Hogwarts throughout all of p.II ?

[i always thought a good place to end the first part would be when Ron leaves Harry & Hermione], but we'll just have to wait and see. :D Not long now! :heehee:

    Oh your right of course...

I was thinking that was all after they get to Shell from Malfoy Manor..forget about leaving Shell Cottage :kink:

The splits a tough one to work out...

I do have a feeling it will be after Dobbys burial and them deciding what their plan is..then kick Part 2 off with Gringotts.

Theres so much though from Gingotts to Hogwarts that I can see it being the whole of Part 2. They are gonna do it justice :D

Oh and the epilogue - :puke2: - will be in, and feature the same cast, aging techniques obviously to be used but not the ones used in Ben. Button according to Yates.

  8. Obviously these are spoilerish to an extent!

    ****

Part 1 has been described as a "road movie" by David Yates and Part 2 "as 'elegiac and operatic.'"

David Yates added: The film will be shot "with loads of hand-held cameras. I want to shake things up every time I go into this world. I like experimenting as we go along"

So far lots of the camping scenes have been shot, Shell Cottage, Room of Requirment senes, Ministry of Magic scenes and Malfoy Manor currently being filmed.

There are LOADS of pics, so I'll try post some.

    Phew. :drama:

I'm not coming across as obsessed am I :kink:

  10. I was disappointed, I was expecting so much more, I think it was probably the worst film so far, where was the action?

For real? Had you read the book?

Theres so little action in the book they had to add the Burrow scenes and the bridge opening!

As for the battle at the end that was removed so it wasnt repetitive in DH.

  11. Harry Potter has conjured up a record-breaking witching hour.

Warner Bros. says "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" took in $22.2 million domestically from midnight screenings. That breaks the record set by another Warner blockbuster, "The Dark Knight," which grossed $18.5 million from midnight showings last summer.

The sixth installment in the "Harry Potter" franchise also topped the midnight haul of this year's biggest hit, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." The "Transformers" sequel pulled in $16 million from midnight screenings on its first day in June.

And the new adventure of the teen wizard raked in $10 million more from midnight screenings than part five, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."

    Wow! :cheer:
