Take That - Live 2015 Tour
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatActually they should have choosen Kidz - i love Kidz- instead of Affirmation... The songs from III let me quite ...cold. But it happened also with Depeche Mode for me where i was to a concert and liked only their back catalogue instead of the current one. Circus was such a braight affair, III seems a little bit dark (thank you that is not so dark as Progress). At least they choosed to play UAN and HUAL, my absolutly favs from Circus album :yahoo: . Sad that i cannot see them in cinema, wrong country at that moment  .

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatFor me only pt 2, a strong song like Rule the world or Shine would work. I am not interesed in a new member, what for? 2, 3,4, 5 - for me TT is TT and basta, i don't want a Sugababes way for them. I am not interested in another reunion or the other points. I think just the sound of III didn't worked with the demografy of their fanbase. The sound it worked for me the best was The Circus one and the BW era. I love retro electr-pop but for the new one i don't have nothing to like (aka Progress). I like more pure sound, which is way i liked Circus with their tuba and whatever than Progress with an overload of electronic sound and voices. They went too modern, which work mainly for another demografy instead of a classic sound, which have worked across the ages. Just my opinion.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatRe tax issue: i think all of them or all of high profile celebrities don't make by themselves decisions about their money. They hire somebody who has idea about investments. So, if i was in their position and if the specialsit would say me that he found a place to win money, blah blahblah i would put only two questions: is it ilegal? (as i undertstand was not ilegal, but more imoral, right?) and what risk?. That is. I don't believe that the members of TT really knows the laws for investements (do you?) or that they are skilled to invest with such amount of money by themselves. So, for sure, they have to pay back now if it was a mistake or at the border of legality, but now at the end of the day, we all try to ease ourselves from taxes (or maybe is that only in Germany where the taxes are a science and there are so many loopholes and so many laws which one can use to pay less money that we need a specialist to fill our taxes papers). I think the tax issue is the only one i don't have a problem either with TT or other celebrities which made a false step. Is not good, the country needs the money, but for me taxes and money are such a strange world, from which i understand nothing at all, that i can understand other people making mistakes or false steps. Third album of the year after only two weeks is not bad at all!

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatActually for me has a little bit of '90 sound about it. Me liking  (Oh God, i start to get old if i begin to reminisce the '90 pop sound) . I might forget them for not releasing "Hold up a light" as a proper single (or maybe not, snifff). For sure , it is not Shine and Rule the world either, no massive stand-alone song, but it is a nice, very nice invitation for me to hear the album.

Jason Orange quits band!
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatFor someone who really likes to sing and doesn't play any instrument i am really upset for implying that singing is not enough to make someone serious about music. As well with music writing. Instruments are not everything in the muscial world... take any christian ortodox choir or ortodox music - there is no instrument there (no instrument is allowed during orthodox mass) and tell me that this is not music, real music. The voice is the original instrument, it takes years to bring it under control, it is something you have to take care of and work with. And singing in harmonies, together is not very easy, you have to keep your notes when the next to you is singing other notes (quite difficult actually). You have to hear the others to not sing to loud or to quiet, to keep the rythm.... By the way, Howard has really great harmonies, the best from TT. And his lead songs from The Circus were great.

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatLove the artwork! Really artistic . And LOL at the name of the album. It is now very clear to me that they knew for a looooong time that Jason won't take part, everything looks to well to be rushed in the past week. Perhaps they hoped he will change his mind... Now i hope i will like more the music as in the Progress.

Jason Orange quits band!
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWell, i am quite sad about Jason leaving. I saw that coming, he was so "not there" during the Progress promotion. I am not sad for Jason, it is better for him if he is not happy with being in the band anymore that he stops. I am not sad for Gary as he have a great music career of his own. I am sad for Howard, even when he has his niche with the DJ and the german reality show: he was the heart of the band, the one who was always proud and happy to just be TakeThat, i am sure he will miss it the most. I am sad for Mark, as i don't see what he can do in the future and i will miss his music the most. How the mighty fall is still in my top 5 and In your own time in top 20 . Perhaps he can make a new band with Ben Mark and Jamie Norton and i hope they will take a name as a band and make a new beginning and just enjoy to do music. Or he can make music for theater like he did before or for indie movies. That would be great, but i don't know how much foot has he in the industry. I think that this will be their last album, they have already commitments and contracts, they cannot leave now. I wonder if they will do an extent tour, it would sell out as everybody will knewit is their last. Even when i was not happy with progress and neither solo albums, i am still very curious about the new materials, as they changed their style with everyy new one. I have no band where i like everything they come with, not even with my bands no 1 Depeche Mode and REM, so it was not a big deal for me not liking more than 3 songs on the Progress. Heck, they still gave me the mighty Shine, Rule the World and another bunch of great songs i will always enjoy to hear. Nothing is forever....

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWell, a single is not only for charts. Without a single to promote, you cannot go to the radios so easy to promote the album. So sometimes is necesarry, even when you know iit won't bother the charts. But that they were not quite ineterested how the single will fare was shown from the twitter account, where they didn't tell when the single is released but only when the album comes out.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI found back in time HTMF in a supermarket in Dresden, but in Germany he released with the help of a record company. Now in the city i live i have no CD-shop, so i cannot tell. I hope he will write music for films and musicals, other way his talent is wasted. I have not bought TAODN till now. Too much Progress for my liking (which i also haven't bought till now) and i buy only albums i will also hear (exception was a Robbie album as i was curious and i heard it only twice, i do like some of his songs but they are scaterred on different albums). It may grow on me like Stars did, but for now is not my prioroty on my wish list. Shocking that an album so great like HTMF sold so little. He really must like to do music that he released a new album after that  .

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI don't know exactly, but he was signed in Germany (already in 2005) and i think through them did he come to Universal. But i don't know exactly the differences between a normal artist contract and a publishing one.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatYes, but what you define as succes for you? To be in top 40 of your profession? Or do you consider yourself a flop because you're not in this top 40? Or are you disspointed about it? Like i sad i am sick of this society judging just in numbers and in succes an acomplished life and whatever one does. I met a lot of people who clean in firm which were more happy and enjoying life than a chef with a beautiful house but with a very stressful life. However, everybody would pity that cleaning person and will have only admiration for the life of that chef... Is a matter of expectation. If you expect only success, you are damn to be not hoppy, as only a few people has it and even more few have continuously succes. Mark for example is one of the few enjoying succes. Why he should have it always is beyond my understanding? He might be happy to make music as he likes it, to go on this tour with his friends and just enjoy the experience of being creative.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatOh, i presume that everybody that is here disspointed that Mark's album won't be the world bestseller you all expected, is as well in top 40 of your profession, especially when he/she work in a known company. There are tons of great albums you won't even hear the title. So what if they are not in top 40 or whatever? Perhaps those making them were in love with the music or it is their way of artistic expression, should they all be considered flopped? Guess what, the normal people doesn't care which place some album had in 10 years time. Can you remember the Nobel price in chemistry last year? Because this is much more important than a damn place in a chart... Let Mark do whatever he likes to do in his profession. If he feels happy doing it, what are your problem? Don't come with a stupid "legacy to Take tHat2 bullshit. They are a part of Take That and TT exosts because of them , they don't own their life to TT . TT is not a church, just a job. In one job you have better results, from other you gain more experience than succes. This society makes me ill with all emphasis on succes. Do you like the album? Fain, enjoy it. You don't like it? Great, there is pleanty to chhose from on the market!

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatLaura, happy you liked the gig. Can you please post the setlist? what marchandise did he have? I expected the tour to doesn't sell out: it is near hollidays and people keep on their money for it or are already in holliday. There is also exam time. The tour was also announced quite late when everybody had already made the arrangements for the summer. He so should have made the tour in october... For me is also bad timing. I have a small baby, i cannot go without her and with all family it would be quite expensive.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWell, it fares as i expected, top 75. But you know? A lot of albums were sold through universal store, for long time it was only there for preorder. I don't know if it will make a difference at the end of the day, i even have no idea what other albums are now in the top and how much they sell.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatPippa, you can purchase through his official website the deluxe album. It has more tracks (3 if i not mistaken). There was also an exclusive album with some extras (photos, autograph)-this one is already sold out. I get the impression that Universal is more interested to sell the album than to sell the single, as they are making much more noise about the release date of the album .

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI put top 75 as not many fans of TT knows about the release, only the die hard fans and from them not all will buy it. With a lot of luck will go for the first week intop 40. The promo seems to be low key till now.
