I want to add just one thing before going away from this discussion. Like i said, i saw or i had some people in my vecinity on the verge. One of them didn't make it through. So i won't be kidding with such thing. I don't know how is in UK, but alot of people in Germany don't go in clinic because they fear someone will found out (for a job in the public administration or as a teacher, apparently the administrations are allowed to ask you about or to go for information). Esp. for a man it is hard to be seen as "that one with psihic / drinking/ depression" problem. There is a lot of prejudice against it, a lot of fear you will not climb in your company, etc. So, a lot deny their problems, and carry with them for years, making himself and the family misserable. Some of them will lose on the way. Some of them will become stronger. But at least they are not in the public eye like a celebrity is. Do you want for Mark to behave like Amy Winehouse or like Britney and then bring him into a clinic? Who want to find everything Mark does as a a run away or as a selfish thing was perhaps not in that point of disperation or has not seen someone being there. I much prefer to have now an intensive control and therapy over his problems. Letting his wife alone is also a better idea IMO - she need also time to think. It is not like Emma has not a loving family and friends to help her with the kids. And Mark has also to think at the kids. Do you think a judge would allow him now in the state he is the right to see and be alone with the kids? Just because Mark did big mistakes against his wife doesn't mean he has no serious problems and that he has not to deal now with them. If not now when he is at the bottom , then when? 1. Romanian folks music albums - won't help if i would put the name here. This was my first love. I was fascinated by romanian folk music as a very little kid, I used to hear them over and over . the fascination came back latter and i still love a lot of folks music from different countries. 2. Beatles - no album particular, as in comunism times you got songs on a magnetophon band, from radio and friends. I even didn't knew they are the Beatles, if i am honest. I heard them because i like the melody and that was for me the first reason. That is as i was under 14 :lol: . Now i understand them at a new level, the lircs got more deeper as i could think with 12 :lol: 3. Depeche Mode - Music for the masses - i had money from my parents to buy my first album. I choosed between NKOTB , which i found at that time , ahem, good looking, and Step by step was a hit at that moment, and Depeche Mode . I choose DM and this seems to be a love for the life, even when i don't like everything they brings out. Depeche Mode + the book Dune = the best of my teenager era ! 4. Janis Joplin - once again mixture, no particlar album, they were to expensive back in time - first time when i realise music can have a program, a meaning and a style. 5. Cat Stevens - Tea for the Tillerman - do i need to explain this one? Timeless tunes, timeless lyrics. It was a revelation what a great songwriter can do. 6. Prince - Diamond and Pearls - a perfect album, who brought me behind silly charts and TV music. Funny thing: the worst songs on the album were the singles. Brilliant music. Brilliant musician, instrument choices. I could listen and listen again just to catch the sound of a new instrument. 7. Mark Owen - How the mighty fall - Many will wonder to see here in thsi list of great names, I don't have to say how much prejudices i had against boybands and their shirt ripping image strategy since i was 16 (when i think i was quite to spend my money on a NKOTB album then, only in a couple of month to discover meaningful music and to be ashamed of it :lol: ). This album came in my life when i needed. It is more for the personal message of the songs but also to open my mind that the musician don't have to have success but that his music is still worth to try. Teached me a good lesson. From that moment on, i was more open to give a chance to not known artists, to strange styles or voices, to appreciate personality. I could have choose on my way a far lot more of albums, my journey is not done. I had great revelations with Queen, REM, Bob Dylan, Credence clear water revival, Goran Bregovic, Simon and Garfunkel, Lennon, Joan Baez, Razorlight, Doors, Pink Floyd. My last one was Arctic Monkeys for example. I could go on and on. I learned from which one how versatile music can be, what "moment" music is and what music " for years". I learned to choose and don't let me driven by a mode or by charts. Sometimes one album is more important than the other, sometimes my heart need one style over the other. I cannot said which one is the best, and what for? :lol: Also i didn't counted my revelation in classic music, which were as great as in the "light" music and took also a lot of time to refine and to go over prejudices.

I think the song is a littöe bit generic, a littöe bit of what i would expect to hear in a Disney movie, but from the lot of songs o heard by now, this would definitiv make Top 10! Not bad, Ireland!

Dream on about clean-cut Robbie and Gary :teresa: . We don't know what the next day will bring. But perhaps they learned better to choose with whom to cheat :lol: . And they would better come out now as the shock is already done. And like i said, i don't see what that should change the opinion about the band. It is like buying albums for the picture on the cover and not for the music inside. Well, better now that those "fans" are going away from them as in 5 years when they won't look so good anymore and will not dance anymore at their gigs. I must say that it happens to have in my antourage a lot of persons having to deal with fear crisis and with depressions. That is why i can tell you it is not a mode word, it is real . You are a strong person Norma, but not all are like you. Honestly, i don't want to see Mark doing a Britney. It is the right moment now to go in rehab, he cannot live anyway a normal life now like going shopping , at work or taking his children out.

I don't think so, Norma. But at the moment i am more worried for his mental well being, so the drinking i think is an excuse to bring him somewhre where he can think and where he can be looked up. It is no easy to have depressions, here i don't look for an excuse for him, but i know about what i am speaking and how dangerous such a crisis moment could be. The article in the Mirros apparently quotes Emma, and when you read actually is only "a friend has said", "a pal has said" and nothing directly said by Emma. I am pretty sure at this moment no one entering their house, no firend or pal would go to tell something to the Mirror. And about telling only because he must: what is the problem of the public to knows this intim details. Do you feel better? Make from yourself a better person? I don't want to know it - i am not interested in it. I have my family and my friend to care for and thank you very much i have by far not the time to hear from all of them as much as i want. Why should a star makes mea culpa for the public? Did you buy the music or the image? Is Tiger Woods so good in his sport only because is he fidel to his wife? Well, it was nonetheless their best album. But no song from Gary was as strong as Rule the world or Reach out (i am that small fraction of TT fans who doesn't like Patience). His best song on The Circus was She said. The rest of his songs didn't make the cut in my top 20 of TT songs :unsure: . Sometimes i like You and sometimes i like Greatest Day. But not anytime.... Beautiful world was to samney for me in sound (that is the problem for example with the new Boyzone album, are they also have as producer John Shanks?), apart from Shine and Patience. Luckily i bought the extended version with the brilliant We all fall down and Rule the world. The Circus shows more versatility, more courage in changing styles, more instruments, more courage in production. As that comes more from Mark, Jason and Howard songs (apart from the boring What is love), i hope that Mark will get the chance to put his imput on the new album.
