LOL... it was for long time common knowledge. What wonders myself is that Howard got only some small pics and Mark get so much attention. Should they have been in a rock band, nobody whould give two cents about it. Only because they are in a pop band, people still believe they are saints :lol: or that they have to . Do I am shocked? not quite...for someone who heard his solo music as much as i do, which is very sincere, was everything there. Someone who doesn't have real bad times, cannot write such true songs. People always look at Gary that he had bad times, well Mark has it as much as him. At least Gary was appreciated in time as a songwriter, Mark was not appreciated at all. I think this is the problem of Mark and his family. It is not at all my problem. I want his and TT's music, i buy it if i like it, i want from them good shows, live singing and good music. That is all. If i would choose to like only artist who didn't cheat, well, i would have to give up more than half of my favorites... :lol:

I don't think Mark thinks that this what fans want. I think that this is what he wants :lol: (that is why i mean he has no business feel, he makes the music he feel is good not what he thinks fans will like it, he takes the decisions from the "artist" point of view but he cannot foresee how his / TT fans will act, he never could do that). Edit: that Mark doesn't make what the fans want from him is very clear: on his forum were many voices that he should do something with his website (still have the artwork form 2003) and that he should bring on market more of his live DVD, as a lot of people (ok, a lot from Mark's fan lot, don't compare with TT fans) want to have it. We never got none of them :nocheer: . I still have "seasick" :angry: . Counting the weeks :teresa: ...

Hehe, sure: they fly to LA to record the Haiti song. As if they coudn't record their four words in London :rolleyes: . And they needed Jason and Howard for what? LOL, as the rumour between fans get, the flight was planned long before. I was hoping back then that is perhaps for some film music, as it was to early for the new album. Still hope it was not for working with Robbie. As for Mark: he is the biggest "idiot" :teresa: , he takes always the wrong decisions apart from his song writing, he doesn't have a head for business , only Gary has. He wanted the Green Man when nobody was ready for it, he wanted something different for the second album (which was not published) and was thrown away from the record company, he went to CBB, he want the reunion with Robbie. I think Mark feels guilty about Robbie drugs addiction and that he didn't "rescue" him the first time. So, Mark is a lost case. As for doing something solo: he is the only one from the three TT having a solo business, which didn't pay any attention to keep those few fans he had and those attention he got as a solo artist (he was quite respected in some strange german indie scene :lol: ). He haven't update his website with any information about TT or about him, apart from kids . So, my money are that he won't do a solo project in the next 10 years. With a little luck he will write some songs for rejects in X-factor :rolleyes: (what a waste of talent, he has the talent to do marvellous film music - but does he make something to push his career?) The only one with a head is Howard, but as it seems he is too in love to think right now :naughty: .

I don't know why but Peter Gabriel just iritate me :teresa: ... No idea why as i liked some Genesis.

I gave my vote for Outcast. Should i have three i have choosed Madonna with Vogue and A-ha with Take on me. :cheer:

There is also a "third album" curse. But it seems to apply more to indie-rock bands like Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and Arctic Monkeys. All have pretty bad times with their third album :unsure:

I think they will. Girls when grow up tends to shame themselves for how stupid they used to be. Great for me that i loved Janis Joplin and Depeche Mode back in time. Nothing to be ashamed :lol:

I so much prefer when celebrities DON'T publish how much or if they give money to charities. If they do, i have always to think that they "buy" their publicity and "good image". It is not our problem what someone makes with HIS money.

Even if it is a charity CD and the artists worked free of charge there are still many other people implied in process and who must be payed. From a normal CD only a small part goes to the writer / artist : this money are the one who can be donated directly...Production costs must be covered (like paying the worker from the manufacturing) - they get their percent from the price of the CD. After they are covered from the first batch of CDs, (from which only 1 € goes to charity) the rest of money will go in full to the charity. If i understand it right.

This kind of charity singles doesn't go for a great unique song but uses another tric: they choose a lot of musical acts who have large amounts of loyal fans, which will buy even for 4 words sung by their artist ...Statistically it is worth to put 20 acts as only one. :lol: ( I heard a lot of TakeThat fans and Robbie fans that they will buy the single). I would much prefer something more genuine, thank you very much, but this method has shown in past great results and at the end, good song or bad song, the people of Haiti will be happy with the donation.

People are you kidding with help now? Are you aware that there is already a lot of money and help for now but if the poeple stop giving after two weeks, there is nothing done? I come from a country striken by a such a catastrophe, was not so bad, not so many people died. But we needed years!!! to build back. You don't make a house, school and hospitals in a week but in a long time. The money have to come also then. Just helping one or two weeks and get away after that is like not helping at all. This country is not that kind that needs only a little help now to get over a bad situation, as they are to poor to help themself afterwards. They will need to eat also in one month time. They will need meds also in one month time.

LOL, my list has also only 11 songs on it. Really, i cannot give a point to Sugababes or Britney :lol:

I have to agree with every word. It just bother me when apparently under the word "charity" the musical acts are making a lot of publicity for themself and buying themselves as "angels". There are many way to make a class charity , you have put some here. For example i loved the CIN idea of Gary Barlow but i hated the Kilimanjaro thing.

I can see Gary singing with Robbie Back for good. I have a feeling it will happen. But, if all TT comes to the Brits this year, i don't want to hear about them anymore! :arrr: And i mean it!!! They will have more to win if they will be a no-show! Better go on LA and make a new recording as eating the rests from the BRits :lol: I won't vote on that stupid 30 years either. How can they put a cover above a real fantastic moment like Patience was? JLS as best group? From a country who gave nothing to Depeche Mode and other TRUE bands, this nomination is a slap on face. Much songs are better on Abbey Road as on tour IMO, as they show another side. THe first time i liked HDICTT, for example. I am still very disspointed that they never sing We all fall down. I just love it, such a pity is just a b-side... :rolleyes:
