Haiti relief single: Everbody Hurts
This kind of charity singles doesn't go for a great unique song but uses another tric: they choose a lot of musical acts who have large amounts of loyal fans, which will buy even for 4 words sung by their artist ...Statistically it is worth to put 20 acts as only one. ( I heard a lot of TakeThat fans and Robbie fans that they will buy the single). I would much prefer something more genuine, thank you very much, but this method has shown in past great results and at the end, good song or bad song, the people of Haiti will be happy with the donation.

Haiti relief single: Everbody Hurts
People are you kidding with help now? Are you aware that there is already a lot of money and help for now but if the poeple stop giving after two weeks, there is nothing done? I come from a country striken by a such a catastrophe, was not so bad, not so many people died. But we needed years!!! to build back. You don't make a house, school and hospitals in a week but in a long time. The money have to come also then. Just helping one or two weeks and get away after that is like not helping at all. This country is not that kind that needs only a little help now to get over a bad situation, as they are to poor to help themself afterwards. They will need to eat also in one month time. They will need meds also in one month time.

Really Norma? I adore this song, i already shrugs at the idea that it will be killed with this multi-cover.... I saw REM live, one of the highlight of my life. Stipe has a wonderful voice live!

Haiti relief single: Everbody Hurts
I have to agree with every word. It just bother me when apparently under the word "charity" the musical acts are making a lot of publicity for themself and buying themselves as "angels". There are many way to make a class charity , you have put some here. For example i loved the CIN idea of Gary Barlow but i hated the Kilimanjaro thing.

Take That - General Chart Topic
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI can see Gary singing with Robbie Back for good. I have a feeling it will happen. But, if all TT comes to the Brits this year, i don't want to hear about them anymore! :arrr: And i mean it!!! They will have more to win if they will be a no-show! Better go on LA and make a new recording as eating the rests from the BRits  I won't vote on that stupid 30 years either. How can they put a cover above a real fantastic moment like Patience was? JLS as best group? From a country who gave nothing to Depeche Mode and other TRUE bands, this nomination is a slap on face. I wonder how Cheryl and her album were not nominated thought. Or Robbie's album.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatMuch songs are better on Abbey Road as on tour IMO, as they show another side. THe first time i liked HDICTT, for example. I am still very disspointed that they never sing We all fall down. I just love it, such a pity is just a b-side...

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatNow about the covers. You can think it is very easy to cover TT. Well, it is not. Gary is hard to cover as he have his angelic voice and Mark is hard to cover because 90% of artists nowadays are not capable to put such a passion in their voices - normally the music bring the "up" and not the voices (inclusive Gary, that is why Gary is good at ballads but not so good at up-tempo songs. I cannot fugure out Gary belting the Shine...). Howard and Jason are also not so easy to cover (well, Jason would be from someone good in country-folk style). The only acceptable cover of Shine is this one: .

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatAS i was one of not so fussed about the tour, i still love Up all night, more after Abbey Road version :teresa: . Yeah, it would have been helped by a visual part like the boring What is love or like any other song, i see. But i think Mark and Jason wanted to make a statement, such a pity it didn't work it out. Na ja, people just wanted from TT dances and glizzer and theatrical. Hold up a light and Said it all were helped, Patience and Up all night were not. Only when Gary takes his Elton John momentus everybody is happy also without bangs und cracks. To be honest , i am not making any hopes about the new CD: The Circus was so great but everything went wrong in promotion and expectation.

I would have liked from her something with personality. But as a clone of what is already in charts ....well, it is not my cup of tea. I liked the clips i saw on youtube from Little voice, but this song summs all i hate in charts at the moment. Where is her voice?

Meh. I thought i hear Britney.... :teresa: . Not impressed. Just a song on the same pattern with what is in the chart. Far away from unique and something special!

Predict (Again): Girls Aloud - Untouchable Campaign
This campaign seems to me very stupid. Wow, such a tragedy that a song didn't make it in top 10 :naughty: . I hope it flops not because i have something against GA (i like some songs of them, this one i consider very weak), but to stop every fans of some bands to make such campaigns  (when it comes the Westlife one? the Robbie one for a no 1?)

What Do people hate so much about Jls
LOL, why is your "They are all good Looking" on first place? And Not Manufactured? IMO every act coming out from X Factor is as manufactured as it gets for success :teresa: . They need to grow up, write some music which means something at least for themselves. But I might like them in ten years time, who knows? B) .
