IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatKathy, i saw your post on TTO and you are right about that 10% . I am one in this procent, sorry to say that (but i think that regardless who would made it, you know that). It is funny that you got slaughted again by the same persons, are they looking for your posts to get their anger out? Funny that some fans think that "to be fan" means to see everything in rosa. Hey, we are some "darker" fans, but we exist  !

Any ideas of the BBCs plans?
Gary would be a bad idea IMO. ALW had a lot of points from the juries and not from the publicum and that because he had a big name. Only if Robbie is singing, i would see it winning  . For UK to win it needs a big name as a singer not as a songwriter. Bring Leona, Paul Potts, something like that

Robbie to do Electric Proms
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatAs the most money comes from touring, i will be surprised if he doesn't tour. Perhaps he will make it "little", only UK /Ireland or a little bit of Europe. I don't think that he will do such a big tour as in the past as it takes a lot of power to do it (or he will split it in two years). But it will be enough to be massive ... I think he is only expecting the reaction to his album to tell the dates, but i will be surprised if the venues are not already in talking. The most of artists do that now to don't look arrogant oder too self-sure.

Thank you Rooney, i would have buy it as a pys. format only to support them in Germany. I might get the album thought  : Do you have an idea if they charted in Germany with it?

OOoooo, i like this song hundreds times more than CL! :cheer: Such a great song! Perhaps i am biased as it remembers me from the great Shadow puppets, but i love it. Hope it will have a top 10 as it deserves and improve the album sells. Questions: is also planned a release in Germany?

Robbie to do Electric Proms
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI think you should not be disspointed that is not shown in UK cinema. I think that means very clearly that Robbie will have a tour in UK and Ireland. If he would have got one in Germany near enough to me i would have gone. I am surprised that in Germany are only 5 cities as he is a big big name here (the most played music in radio). Perhaps he tests the response here and after that he will now in which countries he might go to tour.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWell, it is not very difficult to have better lyrics than GD, perhaps that takes 2 points from the song in my books  . But I still hope Gary and CM will make something new for the album

Take That - General Chart Topic
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI didn't sing opera, but i like it a lot (i used to sing church music :teresa: ). I used as a student to go very oft in Bucharest to opera- the romanian have amazing soprans and alto. I was a "classic" music lover for long long time (i would still be if the tickets in Germany for opera/concerts won't be sooo expensive). The problem with Pavarotti was that he had a very "light" voice, not so good for dramatic songs. Lanza was the first singer to introduce me to the singed classical music, so i still have a soft spot for him (like watching the cheesy films he made) and is my fav tenor  . Now back on the live cd: i am happy they offer something for the money and don't go on the easy route to re-release a CD with one-two tracks more (they are allowed only four to count to the normal CD, right?). I don't know if i will like the CD, but i respect them for doing this more.

IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThis might be only slithly related with TT http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/11724372/T...um/Product.html . I hope we might have some Gary songs on it as he loves to make parodies (which till now i like - starting with She said who was not a parody but an ironic song and the "Over and over and over again" ). Well, i am looking for that

Top New Music from the UK...
Most successful: Robbie The best from this lot: must be Susan. I am not too much in covers, but she has a genuine voice in this song.

Signings to Gary's label
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI bet is for the album. It is translated in italian to get better with the image. I don't think they would have bothered if it was no for the album.

Signings to Gary's label
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatDon't get upset about my following critics... For me Rule the world is also in top 5, but i think this cover ruins everything i liked in the song. The amazing orchestration is gone, the dramatic is gone, the intermezzo is gone. It has every clishee of such song for sopran/tenor with singing in classical style. *shrugs, bocelli reloaded* It becames a lifeless song, a pale mirror of the orginal song, predictible musicality, just a panorama of beautiful high notes. I sing sopran myself, perhaps is that why i judge so hard - i know what the limitations of angelic voices are. A dramatic sopran might have impressed me much more on this song... I still think what wants to be between classic music and modern music ends often as being a kitch music (and according to some theories about kitch, pop music is not kitch, because doesn't pretend to be more than it is , while such a song between pretends to be more than it is and has big chances to be a kitch). It's not that i have something against soprans, I am also not a friend of Bocelli or other tenors as singers of pop songs in classic style (the only one i liked was Mario Lanza, perhaps because he had not a pure tenor voice with a classical style but a very dramatic one and in a more "american" way). They get naturally applaud for the ability in their voices, which also this woman should become (wonderful voice, i want hear her singing church music), but for me is a big NO. I liked the versions of Shine or Rule the world for choirs much more.

Signings to Gary's label
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatHere is the new "aquisiztion" of Gary: A very beautiful voice, but there is a reason why a sopran should never "go" pop and never cover a pop-soft-rock song. This version sounds cheap, as if the only important thing for her is to hit the most highest tones pro secunde. This song needs emotion, and all i hear is only an angelic empty voice. I presume there is a lot of auditorium for such a voice and style of pop-soprano as Katherine and Mylene shows, but for me, they sound cheap and soulless. They need other music, other passion to come alive, to "comunicate" emotion not only "take a look what a gorgeous voice i have, how angelic it is and at the high notes i can sing" (the best example of soprano emotion is in the Requiem of Mozart and Carmina Burana of Orff)

GMTV News - Just Now .....
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatMore here: http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/take-that/new...-with-take-that So, my version is: Mark and Gary went first to NY to make the row work at the album producing, then came also JAson and Howard to make the last changes together. And as they were there without kids and woman, they decided also to get drunk ( i don't believe it was Mark stag party only with 5 guests). Robbie came also for laugh and to take a look. He has a lot ahead of him with the promotion worldwide and TT with thier new live album, Gary with his chariyt gig. I don't think there is place now for writting music (only if they really want to have a new song for them as a five ).

Brixton Academy, 2nd November
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatLOL, Mark more success than Gary :teresa: ? Neeehhh, even back in times Gary was more successful. Mark is still unaccepted and nobody knows from the music industry , beginning with artists and ending with music critics, that he can wrote a song and he wrote in TT (he got better critics in Germany as in UK for his solo work, for the matter  ). I think Gary would have more success as a singer, as his songs need his voice and Mark as a songwriter, as the most people don't like his voice but might accept his songs sung by someone else. But as nobody recognize him as a songwriter, i can scrap this too :arrr:. I believe that Gary will go solo. He is the only one asked from TT if he will go solo again, so i presume he gives a diplomatic answers every time, to don't look like "i expect now the best moment to go away" . Perhaps not as intensive as now in TT, i don't know if he will have fun to do promotion and to tour alone.

GMTV News - Just Now .....
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI would believe what TheSun says. I still think that Smart gets his information more from first source when is TT (not Robbie !) related. So, according to the sun they met to hear the live CD.

Take That - General Chart Topic
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThat is really good for The Circus. This year the selling of albums is worse than the last years, the album is still no 7 after the release of great albums. Take a look at U2 and Arctic, both more album seller than single sellers. U2 struggle big time with this album and singles and Arctic needs asap a good single to bust the album sells.

Brixton Academy, 2nd November
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI believe that Gary will do in future something solo. I cannot see him just staying behind closed doors when TT-project will be shelved. He likes the attention he gets, he has also his charity projects, he has now a lot of respect from the other artists, he is once again more than sure of himself, so i am more than sure that if anyone of TT would do something musical after TT, Gary would be the one. And i am sure he would have success.

Rank the Albums
IrisAlbastru posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI will rank only the studio albums, as the GH have always an advantage of having the best songs from the studio albums. 1. The Circus - without any doubt  2. Beautiful world - Tour Edition for me please  3. Nobody else - because of Never Forget and other 2 songs 4. Eveything changes - well, it is better as TT&P, so here becomes his place 5. Take That and Party - not on my taste
