This article is very strange and don't go along with some "seeing" of Jason in London from twitter. It seems that Gary and Mark were in NY, but i don't know how much truth is in the whole article...

Just curious here: did you have the chance to hear it? How are the other songs and why do you thing is lacking a good second single? Apart from my oppinion on Robbie music, i think it will be massive. He is present everywhere now: papers, radio, TV, a gig soon. So, what do you want more? I don't think the other singles to be released from other artists at the same time are so much better than his. He has a huge fan-base of his own plus a lot of TT fans. I bet it will be No 1 a couple of weeks and remain in top 10 at least two months. I cannot judge how the single will do: i fail to understand what UK listeners likes. :lol: . I still think it will go in top 5 for ages and no 1 for 2 weeks. He has a great promotion for it, it is already supported from radio and TV.

If they don't have any new songs on it, i don't think it will cross the 100000 mark. This comes the same time with the DVD, and let be honest, the people will buy the DVD ...I see it only for the die hard fans, really... But nice nonetheless that they do it

Well, i don't know. I kind of like the punk rock version of Back for Good Mark and Robbie did, but i hope if they sing something together is something new, and not a medley - i hate medleys.... But with Robbie promoting his own new song , this is no chance . :unsure:

LOL Norma...Sadly i don't care for 90% of the charts nowadays. I hoped i would like Mika songs (as i liked the other songs of him), i didn't :( . But coming back to Robbie, he is already nominated for VMA , so another good promotion for him, Alexandra is nothing compared. Despite people saying he is no 1 on airplay in Germany, i didn't heard it yet, probably they will play much more in the next weeks. Everybody loves someone coming back from a drug /depression / addiction problem, so Robbie fits perfect the pattern. Like Britney he got the top shows worldwide to promote . The only one, who might not succed is Witney...

I hope they will sing a new song, as i am not very keen on the old ones of Robbie in TT (ok, one was quite ok, but i cannot remember now the name). But with this promotion, i fully expect now (i expected taht already, but now i am sure) that Robbie will get the No 1 and no chance that Alexandra /subo or Cheryl could steal it. If it was DVD + CD i was quite sure to buy it as half from DVD and half from CD i would have liked at least for sure. But now....i am quite thinking. It is not a memorable ballad - but think how much crap is nowadays in charts, so in comparation..... I give them definitively Top 10 and if i thing that Alesha will get a lot of publicity with Strictly and both got a lot of publicity for this song, it might go in top 5. But i wish Gary would be more careful which songs he writes for singles for others, especially because he gets now so much attention. Sometimes less is more. :unsure:

They are so predictible with their nominations for Oasis and U2. They can release any weak material and still get the awards. I am a fan more of the old U2, this new album is weak, IMO....

LOL, i am also from that unplugged MTV generation. Perhaps is why i am excited :w00t: . Mark's songs are excellent as acoustic (the german How the mighty fall is a real gem because of the four acoustic versions, three of them are really good), we might have some pleasant surprises here too. I hate Could it be magic as a quick version and i love the Manilow original, as in BW. I was so disappointed that they chooses once again their version on The Circus :arrr: . I still cannot imagine Shine as a acoustic song :lol: . Edit: what i do hope is that they don't add more strings as they already have. Said it all is drowned already in strings and this tends to make a song sugar coated. If they increase the sound of cello and deep sounded string instruments, it may be a benefit , as it give a dramatic effect. But i hope no more violins :teresa:
