I wonder many things now: which instrument do Mark play, as i think his bass is not an acoustic instrument? Second: which songs would work as an acoustic version? I can only think at Patience, Julie, Up all night, The circus and What is love. Perhaps also The Garden...but without the powerful instrumentation Howard part won't be as good as in original version. Wooden boat is also on the original quite acoustic, i won't see the gain of a new version... I cannot imagine Rule the world, Shine as acoustic for some reason.....

I think the secret project is only the acoustic cd for the DVD. Oh my, i am sooo very excited now by the DVD! I can hardly wait, this CD make it more valuable for me :cheer: :yahoo: Did i tell you that i like Yoko now much more because she loves Shine :teresa: ? I bet they were chuffed that Yoko gave them the award (well, at least Mark was for sure, he also loves the Abbey Road, he keeps returning there).

Perhaps because Shine has a brilliant video, only to match with Said it all. The other videos of TT were not so direct, i think. And Up all night video is for old hippy-minded like me (i am very entertained about that old black man, i love streets fests, lol, i was the real target of the video), but not for the majority :teresa: . They promoted Shine exactly when it was released, it was not ages in the low charts like UAN. And i think UK people might not be such a big fans of the style of Simon and Garfunkel and songs with classical american sounds, like i am...

Well, first, i am a TT fan and i don't like all their songs, inclusive Patience, which is a mass apeal songs. And since when is Simon a TT fan? He takes only what brings money and audience, TT was such a group, that is why he brought them to X factor. My impression is that he actually is only a fan of very few things. Also i observed that if someone in media wants to say something negative about TT, they choose Mark, because, we "all know " that Gary is the genious and Mark is the flopped one. I am not disspointed if this song doesn't have a mass apeal. I am not sure i want to have a mass taste :lol: . But, i think that song is brilliant and would have fare much better with a proper timed promotion - i still hate them and their management for realising it when Gary was not available for music but when he put the highlight only on that charity climbing. Should have been his lead single that would have helped perhaps, but it was not of a help for Mark. Well, at least they released it, which cannot be said about the brilliant Hold up a light :lol: .

We will have also that Children in need gig, or what is supposed to be. Also for all Gary fans a lot of songs where he is the writer. I still think it is a pact betwwen TT and Robbie. One year he, one year TT. We will live and see. And i still hope, if they do something together: please be the hymn of the olympic games. But as i know now how the people think in UK, it will be an X factor or BB / Dance on ice/ Name-it reality show winner :lol: (if TT will do that, it will still work with my prediction, but for Robbie alone not! :lol: ).

For sure, if they loss some fans, they will get other new. I like that they keep trying and not stick to a winning formula. That is what real music is all about. It may be that i will not like one of thier album in the future and def. i don't like all their songs, but i admire them for being real and not an music industry made image.

I think NMS is a very dominant person and especially Jason and Mark coudn't cope to well with that kind of people. Gary was the "choosen" one, so he had not too many problems, and Howard takes everything easier. If I understand well Gary's book, Jason coudn't stand NMS and Mark was afraid of him and afraid to speak out his mind. No wonder they choose Mark's manager, how much do you hear about him? He really is like a grey eminence, managing without tam-tam. NMS done a great deal of good but also, like a dominant mother, didn't let them free to evolve and didn't trust their own power. Could you believe Mark could develop so much having NMS still as manager?

LOOOOLLLLL, perhaps your hubby knows about such things as much as my hubby! :lol: :rolleyes: I was the first wanting a mp3 player and i changing every year and my old one goes to my hubby , who uses it 2 times in a year at fitness club. I still have no love for itunes, i much more prefer to buy the CD and turn in mp3. It is a difference in quality and for good music absolutly a have to.

Does Robbie write now with Depeche Mode or with Enigma ? :lol: :teresa:

I am very divided by the new Robbie song. It is certain not a instant liking for me (but i can count on my fingers those Robbie songs I like instantly). It is very powerful and I like the gregorian chant, but from the middle on i don't care anymore and it is just boring - to repetitive. Now, with all the hype it will go very very sure to no. 1, i don't know for how many weeks, as it can gets on the nerves with too much radio-play. But on MY nerves, the other might love it, as they love Poker face, which i can also not hear to many times. I didn't heard Leona song till now and Alexandra's is not my cup of tea, so it will be very hard now to predict it. I still think Robbie will got the no1 but only for the whole media supporting him inclusiv the big BBC. Robbie will get at least no 1 in Germany and half Europe :lol:

Norma, i am very sure they are eligible. I think the deadline is the end of november with november releases at least being eligible for two years nominations. BUT, i think this year they will have a chance at The Group category, the only one where they are not against Robbie (Alexandra and Leona i think will release too late). I expect Robbie taking everything he can (most for sure the single :naughty:) and that is bad as i wanted The Circus of TT to take it (i know what you think Norma, but i love it infinitely more than BW). So, as i can predict The Circus will get no nomination , i am rooting for Arctic to take it. Still gutted The Age of the Understatement didn't take anything :arrr: I gave a hear to a part of the Humbung. It is darker and the melody is not so easy to follow as their earlier work - so not quite radio friendly. But i like some songs much more as the first single CL - they are really a little bit of The Last Shwadow Puppets. I don't love them as much as i love the songs from The Age of the Understatement, but they have the chance to grown on me. I like much the music part of the songs :dance: , not very impressed with the lyrics till now.

Now i have to go to hear the song of Mark :lol: (first song that got me hooked on Mark's music). I just need that DVD to cheer me up. The videos on youtube are quite bad filmed, i cannot get the picture what is going on :lol: . I know that half of the music on the tour is not what i like to listen, but i think the rest would make it for it :w00t:

The chart is pretty boring me thinks. I didn't expected for Arctic to go down so quickly :unsure: . I know it is not their best single, but they were in every music macasin across Europe.... :wacko:

I think UK should put a petition that only EU countries are allowed. Think of it: without Russie, Norway and Turkey, perhaps in a couple of years UK might also win :P (Germany will still be in the last 10 anyway). (Better would be to bring Robbie, but i don't think any known singer would take the risk in UK).

Well, i for sure won't post anything more on TTO :lol: . This time for good. For some groups like TT, Girls aloud and some other is better to don't know the ultra-fans, other way you might lose the love for their music. So, i had to choose :lol: ...I go there to read only the media page to find out some news i don't know, but that is all for me now. I found myself a nice Owen forum (no, not the official forum either- that is 10 years back in internet development ), where i can rant about his music as much as i like :teresa: , where nobody is so upset if i say some harsh things like i do here on buzzjacks (they got so upset on TTO that i say Westlife music is bland :teresa: ), so it is fine for me even if the management will only read the TTO and will remain with a very bad result for the group :lol: . But with that voting, i tryed last evening to see how it works: in 5 minutes Howard moved from C-list to the A list, which is no way to happen in normal vote poles. :lol:
