IMO UAN should have been the first single (still don't like GD, i musch prefer REach Out as an opener). SIA benefits a little from the tour, while UAN had the worst timing in promotion (to early and to late; perhaps only IWFL got it worse as it got none). Also the video increased the quality for SIA while for UAN not soo many were happy with it (well, i was, but i am a weird person, you know?).

I don't like too much that they took pics of the children. I am quite against it and i am sure Gary is also not very happy about it...(i know that Mark is very angry if his kids get photographed). Kudos to all TT members to keep private life just private! Yeah, they deserve all a nice holliday. But somehow i imagined that LA is not the atraction point in summer to make holliday :lol:

But that is the curse of Mark anyway. Regardless what he makes he is in the shadow of something. Perhaps that is why he didn't release anything in the last years. Nasty words will be anytime... Perhaps he should start without media anouncement, press release , presence in media. Just for the fans, through his site. Do some "secret " gigs - they are soooo fashionable today :lol: . Let only insiders in. Make the other feel that it is something special. Underground. Make it to seem like a side project for a time. But i don't think Mark has the mastermind to protect himself. He haven't do it before, he exposed himself everytime. But he had other start at that moment, i hope his management learned also a lot through TT.... I hope that the media would realise what a power for the industry bands like TT are and let them in peace to be creative. It may be that Mark solo work is not for success, but he learned a lot doing it and gave him a personality responsible for 25 % of the success of the band. They gave Gary the chance to flop with Britannia High without bringing it to much like that in their news, i hope they give also the chance for Mark to don't be successful with any work he does. Lots of "hope", i know.... I can see if he will be respected as a creative force from the other three TT and get the opportunity from them and from Polydor to make songs he wants to do, that he will do not do soemthing big as solo....

I also ask myself about the story. First i see exactly Gary against all the USA . It takes time and a lot of risk, for him already a bitter deja vu. Agree that when Robbie didn't make it is hard to believe that TT would make it. As for Howard planning solo: i see him as the most happy from all four to be in TT. He is happy doing his DJ-ing, which takes him also a lot of time. I am only curious about Jason. I read a year ago that he planned some drama or book, or something like that. Gary has already his hands full with work and i see that he enjoy to be a discoverer of new talents. Put also the songwriting and producing. Wow, when does he get time to see his children? Mark should really do also something for his indie heart. It doesn't have to be big or released as CD, something to download would do also to keep happy him and a couple of loyal fans :cheer: . The next year would be Robbie's year with his album coming right for Christmas boom (expect to sell at least a million!) and after that with a tour and promotion of the singles. If TT would release in the same time the papers would be very happy, but i think TT and Robbie are a little bit tired about it. I know when they where in Germany the management told all the interviewers they are not allowed to ask about Robbie. And i think also J Ross had to do the same and that is why he played Angels :lol: .

Are the Arctic going also with a circus thema now? :blink: Hate the cover, very tasteless IMO. The song has parts i like and parts i don't. It may do at least Top 10, but it is not a asong i will cheer for. I much more preffer The Last Shadow Puppets project. :wub:

LOL, i actually liked the last song they have a lot (Better), but i still cringe very much at the dance moves here (has nothing to do with voice). The edge between ok and cringeworthy is very very thin. For example i loved TT with the Beatles medley, but they danced like people used to dance in that time and not exactly like the Beatles. But copying Freddy and that mics stands make it hilarious for Boyzone.

Well, the only show who could get the Brit instead of The Circus can the show in the memory of MJ, if that would be eligible for Brit. In that case i am sure TT would have no chance at all :mellow: , so i hope it will be his family doing that and not eligible....

I have to agree here. For me the sould and the bond of the singer with the music is far more important than a very good technically voice singing bland songs without involvement. Back to Westlife: if they will have good songs, i am ready to listen. But for me "good songs" are a little bit away of top of the charts :lol: ...

How do you want to bring good musicians into the game when you don't cheer for such a good place as 5 for Jane Ewen? And Fairytale is a big success in whole Europe for an Eurovision song....

I agree with 70% of what she said. I find R&B from today very very boring and annoying. Not a patch on the old R&B. While pop reinvented himself many times, r&B seems really very formulatic to me. The genre of the "light" music i enjoy the less.
