I will be very interested how they prepare the gig. I am always very interested on "behind the curtain", how a concert is made, how the scene is build, technical information, etc. Sometimes more than the concert itself :teresa: . I loved Mark's tour on Ultimate Tour DVD. (But i am now quite sad. Depeche have to suspend their gigs and mine won't be made at a later point in time, but we should get tickets from other two gigs. Now my hubby has to take a day off, he is not happy and doesn't now if it is possible for him. Booooo :cry: )

Never knew that Portugal is a neighbour of Moldova. Wow, new things to learn here! And about Romania giving 12 points to Moldova: Moldova deserved it from romanian point of view. A Hora is a traditional romanian dance, the tune was very much influenced from folklore, Nelly sang in romanian (and english). In Romania the "etno" style is very very loved at the moment, the charts are full with this kind of songs (and that not this year , but at least 10 years already). Coming from Moldova, Romania or from Bregovic (he is a superstar in Romania, i bet he is not very known in West-Europe) - it is for Romania very much egal. If Malta or UK would sing an etno song it will get also a lot of points :lol: . But i not justify no more here the taste of east -europe. The lesson is: send good song, with personality, not just good singer singing MOR ballads, which are to be forgotten 5 minutes after listening. Fairytale won not because of the singer voice quality , but because of the passion he put in it, of the personality of the song . If you heard it once, you will remember where and when you heard it for the first time. That make a special song :lol: . Sorry to say, but as nice as the Malta and UK ballads were, they won't be remembered instantly when you hear it.

Wow, some people won't let their prejudice at rest whatever will happen. :lol: But, of course, that happens only to Yugo republics and neighbours of Russia. Has nothing to do with Ireland giving always high points to UK, Andorra giving points to Spain and other cases. No-no, that happens only with the bad east Europe. As i am concerned the position of Romania reflected the quality of the song: high when the song was good, low when the song was boring (like this year :lol: ).

I wonder if next year Ireland will sent Boyzone, as Danemark was better as Ireland this year with a copycate Boyzone :naughty:

What the people don't get is that same area countries have also similar liking in music. For example a lot of eat european countries had songs inspired by folklore, which will appeal to the neighbour. I am not very keen on ballads like one of the UK or Iceland, but in the West a lot of people are. Different area, different taste. And if a song meet the taste of the most, it will win! Like Finland did, like Russia did (but only once!), like Serbia did. But it is easier to give the blame to politics instead of sending decent songs :teresa: .

Do you see UK, if you send a decent sonmg wioth a decent name behind it, it will get points :lol: !

I gave a vote to Romania, Moldova, France and Norway. And i made a mistake and one to finland :puke2: . So, if Finland gets some points from Germany I am to blame! :lol:

Universal hat thought a lot, and they are promoting now "The Circus" in Romania :lol: . That means they offer The Circus - special for Romania. Well, beside the price, i didn't found out what is special, but is nice they try to expand the promotion area. For those of you laughing about that: a lot of good artists come to Romanai nowadays. Perhaps they don't sell as much as in UK or at least Irland; but it is nice to see that "global success" for someone means also countries outside West-Europe and USA :lol: . Perhaps don't help with the sells, but wih the position on the famous scala. Which , we know, is the first step to big sells in West-Europe. (wishing very much, they will do a gig in Russia, that is , it seems, the ultimate place to proove your status as an artitst).
