It seems that The Garden will be also a single (or actually get in romanian radio) from 11 mai. I prefer also The Circus. It shows much more personality and the songs have a more challanging sound.

As a big fan of Cat Stevens, i am disspointed about his position. Champion is right - there are tausend, millions of songs - and the achords are limited. So , it is very posible to sound somehow similar :rolleyes: .

I much like other songs of TLSP. "Meeting place" and 'Standing Next to Me' have to be my fav at the moment. But from these nomination: i like 'The Last Of The Melting Snow'. Never heard it before. Was it known? :blink: :blink: :blink:

I didn't heard it, but i like that he get no 1! If Keating gets a no 1 with an album full of covers, than Bob Dylan, who is a legend in music, deserves it !

I like the most at the Green Man the lyrics - apart from Child i wish he would rerelease this album with new versions with his voice from now - it developed so much. Only Child won't benefit from it - it has to have that frail voice to be a special song. But my fav on the Green Man have to be Secondhand wonderland and Move on :lol: .

Well, put it like that, you may be right. But while GaGa fans are not TT fans (like i read on her forum) it could be that some TT fans will become GaGa fans, so she will have a chance to win people - it is always good to try to show your music to other people as your normal fans who comes especially for you. At least i like her more that she doesn't see as a low to be a support act now that she has success in charts. For some reason i have the impression that the supporting acts are choosed more to please a male audience as a female one :lol: . I am not too old to like her, i don't think the problem lies here, but her music style is not what i like.

As much as i liked or not, RS is quite important on european market as critics. Perhaps not very influencial at the big masses taste. Alin, did you bought it? Is it any good? Like i said, from youtoube i don't like it too much, Wrong is still my fav ATM.

"Bigger" is something very relative. She is "in" at the moment. Let's speak about "bigger" in ten years. Also do you think she can sell so much stadium tickets by herself in UK? I think she is very clever for doing this support. Apart from very few acts, who are sooo established it would wonder the people why they have to support someone, every other act can feel very well supporting TakeThat, who appart of their music are very known for their live shows.So, for GaGa it is no shame to support them, she is still very "young" on music scene and has only to win from it.

Ewww, i don't know when he was in Germany seen as good (as i am in Germany only for the last 8 years and i cannot rememebr to hear him singing). But the germans have a good hand for kitsch, they made the word so they must keep it alive. That explain why the horrible carnaval songs are every years in charts and how such songs like Snuffi or with other stuffed plush animals :lol: go to no1. That a lot of more alternative songs go in german charts doesn't mean that the germans have a better taste in music as the UK listeners. For example the good english pop songs go in german charts only by chance (and mostly if they got first success in USA charts). To keep the balance a lot of bad pop songs go in german charts as well with the alternative ones. :lol: (is enough that they have success in uSA to have success in german charts).

Well, to be fair, they got from the german Rolling Stones only 2,5 stars for the new album (but for their better albums they got better, so RS is not biased against them), which is less than Take That album got. So, they are not loved instantly from the critics, but they are accepted more and they have a huge following! I remember being a teen and the DM fans were as influencial as the Metallica fans back in day :lol: .

I didn't see them live on BW, as i was not a fan back in time :cry: . Boooooo! You are right Norma, on tours they use the strenght of every member. From BW i quite like everything - apart for I'd wait for life (I think it is a little boring at that point on the gig) and Wooden boat (which i actually absolutly love on CD). I love a lot of parts from commentary: how Jason and Mark worked on the visuals, how Howard hates all his outfits, Gary's run for life in GGF , all other three laughing at Mark for his ideas for outfits , Gary' jokes about Mark and Jason :lol: . It makes the show more personal, i hope they will put such an commentary also at The Circus DVD.

Today i watched the BW Tour DVD. I envy you people for seing them live this year. BW tour was sooo good, i am now dieing to see with what are they coming (hoping it is not so heavy circus-thema). Back in the day, i liked some BSB songs (perhaps the most songs from a boyband, next to East 17). I don't know why, but from all the "boy-bands" their songs and from NKOTB i like least now... I saw in weekend Razorlight live, they were very good! Even my hubby enjoyed them very much. And def. Hoastage of love grows on me after hearing it live. But Borrell can dance much more weird than Mr. Owen solo, which is an achievement! :lol: We were in that 5% over 30. God, i felt old :lol: .
