Yeah! The Circus is no 5 and UAN still Top 20! Great :cheer: :yahoo: !

Well, IMO the video is full with clichees. I liked it the first time (ahem, well, they do look fine on it :lol: ), but after seeing it the third time it got boring and now i don't feel any need to see it again. Artistically is nothing new. It is just a video like hundreds other music videos, black-white, the rushed people to emphase the going of the time, heavy emphasis on close-up. The message is Carpe Diem, but too easy to find the message and to forget it. They look not like a band, but like some random four people - i supossed they wanted to show that they are four different personalities, but it would have been better at least at the end to bring them together and show them like a band. I suppose is that kind of video which gets well with the female audience, as they show quite only the four of them. It has nothing bold, nothing to disturb, no edges - perfect to make everybody happy . But it don't capture my attention and i wonder if it will capture the attention of the people who are not TT fans. I must agree, Joi-C, the video i like the most is UAN (and i think we are the only two people in the world with this opinion). Naturally it was not what i expected, but that is the chalange i want from an artist.

But the Circus has gold status in Germany, it was in the news a couple of weeks ago. So they have sold at least 100000 till now. Did BW only sold 200000? It is that ok for an album in Germany?

As this time they promoted heavly (in comparation with Greatest Day), they might have a chance. BUt i think they are targetted at the generation "album", so if the album enters top 40 and The Garden not, i will be still very happy...

Now i understand why the singles in De are so expensive and nobody makes the price lower after 1 week as in UK :angry: . But with that they are really killing the single market. How many people wants a single for 6 euros when they can have a whole album for 10?

I must defend IWFL - it is a nice sog. But too quiet for a single. Myself i still want Hold up a light as a single, but taking in account they filmed a video for "The Garden2"; whcih were not shown yet in Germany or any other country, that they made the video for UK. If it not charts well, we grow over that. I saw only an article in which the autor labbels UAN as a flop and one or two discussion about it not charting well (and one in TheSun forums, which really don't count as they are driven from a very obsessed person :lol:). The big artists remains those selling albums , so i am quite happy for the Circus, as i feared the new direction will drive the listeners away. They should do perhaps like Beatles: their singles were not on studio albums - here an incentive to get both! If you think: Rule the world sold buckets, because was brill and not on the album. They should stick to that and release every half year a good single :w00t: . That i would like, that would also make an Greatest Hits also relevant! :wub:

Well, album or single - i will be happy with both! :dance: When someone buys the album can make himself also a better opinion! I think the physical CD single is really dead in Germany, so i don't think that will work well. But perhaps the single will go up through downloads. It is important they get some good coverage (normally "Wetten dass" becomes coverage in important newspapers). Edit: as i looked in which TV shows will be about them or onterviews with them: they are targetted to the audience who buys albums and not singles. But with the more slaes of the album,the better chances we have for a tour (perhaps next year).

Very happy to say that TT has taken this time three days to do promotion in Germany, a couple of radio promotion and two TV shows from 19 till 21 March! :cheer: This time the shows are much more important and i have a feeling this time the Universal had made much more work in choosing (as at the promotion of Greatest Day let us the german fans not quite happy) :yahoo: . I will post here the links and news, when i will have something. I start to have the feeling The Garden will do much better as Greatest Day here. I will be very happy if they get in Top 20 and if the album climbs in the charts! :dance:

Did you heard what Mark said bevor singing? In the memory of Simone? Simone is no more and someone gave today Mark a letter about her. I found very emotional that they dedicated the song to her.
