  1. LOL, poor Mark... Perhaps he even didn't realise how it will be twisted . Or it was taken out of context what he was observing  . Actually i am not outraged about what Howard said. But it is not something to be told to the media .
  2. I was watching that http://www.brits.co.uk/media/videos/brits-...ts-1985-2008-1/ . Take That get their fair share of time . But Robbie got something like a second? For someone who got the most brits, was very surprising for me. And it is not like he got only the publicum vote, he got also from critics awards some, right?
  3. Yeah, that was the one. But do you know how many other sites took this article from PH?
  4. Not a news, but too funny  : http://coffee-helps.com/2009/02/06/thatvia/ (And i remember: skip PerezHilton page for today or yesterday news.... Howard should take care of how much he say :teresa: , it could be twisted in no second  )
  5. Claud Monet 6+ Edouard Manet 5 Vincent Van Gogh 6 Henri de Toulouse Lautrec 6 Edgar Degas 3 Pablo Picasso 5 Paul Cezanne 4- Paul Gauguin 5
  6. Oh yes, the eyebrow :naughty: . That will be magic if they sing live ! Let's hope is true (mind you, i don't make me ilussions this show would be enough to bring them far, as Reach out was also in this show and not so far in the charts). BUt if they do a couple promotion more and some interviews in quality magazines, the situation could get on the better side for them
  7. TT are rumoured to take part by Wetten Dass, ein german show, one of the best for promotion here. If they really come there (are rumoured for 21 March), then the chances of The Garden are doubled! That would be the really promotion i was hopping for so long. :cheer: ( I only wish they would sing live, but as far i know they have always mimed at this show... )
  8. Wow, clones of Christina A and Gwen!!! If they kill the Depeche song i will never want to hear them again! ^_^
  9. If they go no 1 with a depeche mode song i will scream! DM got very less recognition for their music in UK and it that cover goes No 1 make me :puke2: ... Something like Hallelujah did for me and we have someone in Germany who covered Nothing else matter ! :puke2: :puke2: :puke2:
  10. Oh no, why i should become today only bad news :puke2: ...
  11. In an objective top, no - i won't put someone from the last ten years. I have one for the subjective top as high as Lennon and Cat Stevens, but that is another thing. People forget too quick the music when someone is out of the media. Only The Beatles keep it strong, but where is Freddie Mercury? Where is Cat Stevens? I am sure if i will think i would have another forgotten ones ... . In my top 20 i would def. have the one from Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys . I am not soo keen on the songs Gary writes for others (apart from the Christmas song  ). I heard the ones for John B (forgot the whole name) and those for Katherine Jenkins... perhaps he has better one, which i didn't heard.
  12. I would have in my top 5 Freddie Mercury and Cat Stevens ... The thing with these tops is that everybody tends to remember what is at that moment in, which explains the high position of Barlow and Martin. I bet that five years ago was Dido very high and next year will be Robbie and Amy Winehouse.
  13. Hehe, i don't like or dislike Coldplay (i love Viva La Vida), but he seems to me very similar to Coldplay  . Perhaps is a music style on mode right now in UK and you hear it enough to don't see them similar to each other...
  14. The flop thing is depending on what are you comparing. I don't think that Oasis singles did better for example. Neither other ex-boy-band as a matter of fact :naughty: . Oh yeah, they are not so popular anymore. But if you put in the perspective that the audience, they are targeted to, don't buy too much singles, you have the answer. Also, to my complain, they are very seldom outside UK to promote their songs :arrr: .
  15. Someone liking the video for the same reasons as mine: http://www.promonews.tv/2009/02/02/take-th...y-daniel-wolfe/ (for video freaks also info about who made what in the video)
  16. I also start to think that Universal is only after quick money but they don't give too much to build or help an act. They use the hype for an act and at the second album they seem to let the artist down. No wonder that music is going like is going and the charts are half full of crap and of acts who don't survive too long. TakeThat should come here and do something extravagant, something which will make everybody talk. But i have not really an idea what...giving a gig in front of Bundestag perhaps? :D Or doing a duet with some german darling (do we have something like that ?). Or a video with Heidi Klum :naughty: .
  17. Wow it's worse than by us! Here was only cold. Grrrr....
  18. Ok, then i help also a little bit  . Is it also in UK so cold? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa, i forget to close the window in the dormitory.....
  19. Actually that were also my thoughts. The Garden would have been great as a first single choice - you know: "the new TakeThat - all of them sings...buy the album to convince yourself". But this is a too strange song to do now well in charts. I even don't think they will get a video, exactly like for ReachOut. At least ReachOut was a song who could appeal also to non-TT fans... This decision surprise me very much and very negatively... I don't see that the Garden is more for Germany as "Up all night"... I was thinking also that "Hold up a light" would be the best choice for Germany. Oh well, i rest my case. They should go off from Polydor /Universal. I don't want to think that they must do with them a third album - i predict a very "radio-friendly" album with very little space to improve.
  20. The second single in Germany will be The Garden, release end of March. I prefer at this moment not to comment. The song is here to be heard: wMxiyTj7t3w
  21. So, the 2 million CD were sold here in Europe: http://www.ifpi.org/content/section_news/p...h_20090129.html
  22. That is exactly what i thought. But where? In Germany, which was in the past No2 for them, they were not too high in charts. Could it be Asia?
  23. Somehow i like this one: :heehee: http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?section...1036788&c=1
  24. Well, Germany seems to give a sign of recognition to Take That: they are nominated for an ECHO for group international. http://www.echopop.de/verleihung_2009 At the german forum the people are very very surprised (to say at least) as at the beginning in all the press Marroon5 was nominated and the nominations are normally driven from the sells, which were not that good the last year... But it seems to be true and the german forum got an assurance to be true. They are also listed on the official page of the ECHO awards. As they are against Coldplay, Pussycat Dolls, One Republic and Yeal Naim& David , there are very small chances to win. But I am still very very happy for the nomination (this award is here like a Brit award for UK). I predict Coldplay to win, their VivaLaVida was massive here.
