  1. Well, that is what Howard said to a fan (he was in Germany for DJ-ing). I don't know if he is the best source for reliable information, as it seems he has sometimes given false informations  ... I hope at least if they release it, they will do a proper video and promotion. That was not present for Reach out, it didn't get a chance to perform well. On the market are so many songs, that if you don't know that a band releases a song, you will not buy it in the time it counts for charts. In UK, TakeThat is at least once in a monthly magazine, so the new songs get attention - here are only scandals babies like Britney, Amy and Robbie in the magazines. And if i like the b-side, i may end to buy the single this time (i hate to download songs but also to have hundrets of cds in house :teresa: ).
  2. The problem is that i don't think Said it all is a good choice for Germany. It is an excellent songs for fans, but they need right now new ones. I see more Up all night to do the trick. They messed the promotion in Europe, they choosed the false lead single. It seems everything ruined now, really . I don't think that Germany would have been such a lost country for them - they get more to the adult section who buy the album, but when they have time and money and don't buy singles. I mean Oasis are here not so big as in UK, they don't play stadium here but small venues and are still coming. Oh well, i shut up. I am utterly disspointed, at least i wished to see them in german TV with Up all night and hear them in radio, when they don't came here to tour. I cannot come to UK, too expensive and i have other priorities like having a baby and making with my husband a travel somewhere.
  3. It seams that they will release in Germany "Said it all" instead of "Up all night", which will put me totally off. I am so depressed now that i will even not tell you how much i like and why the new video ... *Going to store my TT love in the basement :( *
  4. SO, i got to read the whole intervies now in the off forum. Very nice one :naughty: . Like i see the things: Mark and Jason really want to do something with Robbie in the direction of a new song. Gary and Howard are very precautious with the thema. I have to laugh hard at the part with the Arctic Monkeys - i cannot really imagine Mark going furious to talk with them, but that they made up with the Glastonbury invitation is hilarious and so typical Mark  .

I am also surprised both from Razorlight and Kaiser Chiefs "flopping". I was expecting more from the collaboration of KC with Marc Ronson. I am still very happy to see them live soon :yahoo: .
  6. Thank you. I am still gutted that they played in Germany only far from my place and on working days, i would love to see them live.
  7. I hope they pull a "TakeThat" and this song is one of the weakest on the album. Because if it is the really lead song on the album, I don't think i will buy the album. It sounds like a missed cross of Queen with Bon Jovi.
  8. Perhaps they are training hard for Kilimanjaro :heehee:
  9. Thank you for the information. I bet that will be possible to look at the MSN only in UK and i will have to hunt on youtube :teresa: . I hope the video will support the song. I think the video for Patience and Shine were very good at that while the one for Rule the world was boring and the one for Id wait for life was weird (and one of the reasons why the song didn't do well). It should be clasic and retro.
  10. LOL...about the discussion here last night. Why i have the impression that Mark only looked innocent? He was older than Robbie, actually :naughty: . Funny that after those funny years, Gary went to be such a family man! Thank you Norma.
  11. LOL...then go ahead!!! Really curious about it!!! I will be grateful for your work (but if is too much or boring for you i can wait tiill someone will make a scan ) (and you can skip the Robbie part, i need to read that part only if it is actually other meaning as TheSun article has)
  12. Is it more than Robbie story? Is it only a Gary interview or a full TT one?
  13. Ewwww...they lockd the thread. Damn! When a discussion is really interesant it gets locked -_- . So, sorry Norma, i couldn't put my intelligence for the good cause :teresa: .

Only that I don't mean only the award for single but inclusiv for the album, breaktrough act, male singger, female singer, etc. They follow the same path

Suddenly i have the image of Gary Barlow pushing poor Leona and taking her Brit Awards  . Sorry, but that "stole" is ridiculous - they didn't force anybody to give them the awards and if the british people found that song more to like as Leona's, i don't think is Take That blame. Question the public or critics taste if you don't like who win the awards, but the win and the nominations are not the blame of the artist  . The Brits award will remain not a measure of quality but of popularity - either at the public or at the critics. When i look back at some Brits Awards for singles or albums, i even cannot remember to hear it :naughty: . Awards generally are good for sell but not too reliable to tell which artist is a timeless one, who will influence the music history - they are to quick after the music release to really see the depth.
  16. Where have you post that? I must say the new forum still goes on my nerves - i find nothing there! :arrr: And naturally that they are not Beatles, very few bands made it to the level... Even Queen has not such an influence in music while they were very good - they was more a genial nische (that is my impression)... I think that the music industry don't allow such an experiment like Beatles done anymore. They developed themselves, tryed new sound. Now you must sell, there is no place for experiments which can scare the fans - especially in pop. What you did in the first 2 years - that are you forever. Take Oasis, they have not much developed their sound, they deliver what they are expected to deliver. Take REM, Metallica, even U2. The same story... I see in Take That (funny isn't it?) very much potential to develop, but they must find courage themselves to do it. There is a lot to explore in sounds, a lot of influences to try. They wouldl lose a lot of fans and only probably they will get new ones. But who does that today anyway?
  17. I wonder why he didn't wrote a book till now? But perhaps being the manager doesn't mean he knew to much. I am sure the bodyguards knew more :naughty: .
  18. LOL...they didn't know the lyrics by heard and read from Mark's hand. Perhaps it is a song to grown on you. I liked it right away and is my fav on The Circus and def. in my Top 5 TakeThat! But i just love retro music, esp 60-70' - exactly the sound of this song . I love the little spice of orchestration a la "Simon and Garfunkel " at the begining on the album version and guitars and the tuba in background. :yahoo: .
  19. I think Mark has a good dosis of naivity in him and for Jason family is very important and he considers TT as a kind of family (i think that is also the only reason he agreed to come-back). But i don't think either Gary and Howard are naiv, but Gary cannot afford to say anyrthing against Robbie. Do you remeber after the Broits 2007 how the press slagged them down that they said nothing about Robbie - why should have they said something actually when picking an award for a song with which Robbie had nothing to do? But so is the british media , and TT learned the rules to well when they were slagged back in the days.
  20. I think the new single deserve a thread by itself  . Release date: 2 March (unconfirmed) Video: first to be showed on 27.1. B-side: 84 Till the official video: w31Yg_K1V_E (watch from minute 2, very funny  )
  21. They are asked obsesively about Robbie. Every time when they are in Germany they are asked again and again :puke2: . And if they only answer one question about him the title of the article has to mention it.... I bet that they were asked here this time again and the other questions went cut and only the bloody questions about Robbie remain. I don't think they love to speak about it. Especially Mark opens very little about it. And Howard is actually quite cold when he speaks about reunion with Robbie. They really don't need Robbie to make news in UK, isn't it? So i don't see that they use that, but they are too normal and down -to-earth, so the poor journalist looking for sensational news has to go in Robbi's story once again, hoping they will lose the nerves  (like i would do, for example :w00t: ). As the same news are repeated over and over in the other magazines, just don't read the news and hear more the music. The love will come back  ... I am actually more upset that they release the new single in march, losing the momentum of Brits.
  22. Hehe, there is the time to get back the army of TT fans. To quiet here  *Norma, thank you for the pm.* And i am still depressed that Rule the World won nothing NOTHING!!!! Damn, is one of my fav five TT songs ever. TT nomination in the best group category is such a joke - thay get never something from the Brit critics and in competition with Radiohead and Coldplay ....

They were not eligible for The Circus, they didn't have live gigs this year. I am upset that Rule The World didn't get a nomiation (i think it was eligible this year) but some bad cover versions did. I predict that Coldplay will walk with at least 3 awards, Duffy maximum with one, Take That with nothing and Adele with loads (grrr). I hope Shadowpuppets get the award as IMO their music is better as Arctic monkeys'.
