Ting Tings? Hallelujah in this version ? Hero in this version? Wow - were they release at Sony? Absolutely horrific :puke2: :puke2: :puke2: . This are the worst nomination i ever saw. Such a pity that the album of Shadowpuppets was not nominated. Oh well, at least tehy will walk with the British Breakthrough Act award....
  2. The games are made: http://www.brits.co.uk/news/coldplay-and-duffy-lead-the-b/ . Well, i expect Coldplay to win at least 3 of those four nominations missing only the live act perhaps. Full nomination at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/4...s-revealed.html . really disspointed that Rule the World didn't get any recognition at all... At least Take That will sing at the awards http://www.brits.co.uk/news/take-that-coldplay-added-to-b/ .
  3. Meh, i don't like r&b, so i am not excited. I used to like BB long time ago, they had some nice songs. And they are really better singers as NKOTB. But i still think more tham 2 colaboration on an album is a big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :arrr:

Oh yeah, i love France Gall! Inlusive Poupée de cire poupée de son (which I understand she hates). Does Amelie have new songs? My fav female singer (apart Edith Piaf) must be Patricia Kaas: ycekLtDDGnc

I think it is the time for a little bit more music from other countries than UK and USA here. Take a listen ! And naturally discuss ! Perhaps you will discover some old dusted songs with much heart and much truth... The french music used to have the lyrics on the first place. JUhGj3Fzym4

Yeap, that is the reason also for me :teresa:

I think it is exactly like with Cat Stevens. I adore his music, but i won't see him live now...
  8. Is Rule The World / Take That eligible for Brits?
  9. I am only curious about U2. I love a couple of their songs. If Prince goes back at the sparky Purple Rain era, it is possible i may end buy the CD. Does Backstreet Boys go on the NKOTB road? I absolutly hate these milliard collaborations without soul only to win the fans of the others artists and increase the selling. That has nothing to do with quality music. One or two collaborations are ok to do, even can increase the value of the album but more just show lack of self-confidence and scream desperation. * :puke2: it was a time, very long ago, i use to like some of their songs*

LOL...i spent a couple of years ago a lot of money for some BD live recordings - i heard it twice and they are good only for dust catching (that was a lection to me to hear more from an artist before buying his records :naughty: ). God, they were awful back in the day, so i don't think that he improved in the last years. But it doesn't mean that his voice is worse now - i heard Joan Bez and she still has a wonderful voice! Try to find some youtube recent live recordings. If your son still want to see him after that, why not? Till now i am going this year only to Depeche Mode and Kaisers Chiefs. And in my city or the next big city are coming also Elton John, Bob Dylan and Oasis. Well, i am not cool - i don't think i will spent my money for them :teresa: . The hardest decision was Dylan, as i adore his music, but i also know that i don't care for him....

I love Bob Dylan songs and i hate his voice live! So i codn't decide for myself if i want to go to his gig. I don't think your son would like it too much: Dylan's songs are all about lyrcis and they are not so easy to be understand from a 11 years old. But if you take him, he would remember someday in the future that he has seen the legend Bob Dylan is. Perhaps it would help if you would tell him more about Bob Dylan before the gig...
  12. That is my fav song of TATU. Back in the days, it was a massive hit in Romania :yahoo:
  13. Have anyone idea how much it sold worldwide?
  14. Was the single released? I cannot find it in top 120 on itunes....

How we will define big here? In critics, in sales or The Sun ? I expect in sales to do big: Robbie, U2 and Eminem. Additionaly in UK: Alexandra , Arctic Monkeys. I expect Robbie and Eminem to do huge, sell millions in one week and be on every chanel and magazine for months as they have that "come back" which done wonders for Britney. I expect to hear: U2 Are expected also Amy Winehouse, Mika and Leona to release something new?
  16. Should be retro or egal? As funny as it may sound :teresa: it will be very difficult for me to choose between: Beatles - Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Mark Owen - How the mighty fall (I really should choose the last one because nobody knows it - while everybody knows the songs of Beatles  ). I would choose also an album of Rufus Wainwright, but as much as i like some of his songs, i don't like a any of his albums as a whole. The one named of Queen is also a legend.
  17. Bee Gees :naughty:

"Reach out" was released in Germany instead of IWFL, but i am not aware that they made a video for this song, so it had 0 TV play. I think it was planned as the fourth single, but they come with the brilliant Rule the World instead .
  19. I liked "Better" . The first song from Boyzone i liked - and it flopped badly. At least for the songwriter's sake, i wished it to go nice in top 20.
  20. Well, it is still to be expected that in Germany willl do better, as they are in a film with an actor which is very well loved here . I don't see them doing well in UK. Not after the song of Boyzone, which was a good one, flopped <_<

I was talking about this quote and not about Julie. It seems to me very bitter. Owen has only four leads on the new album. Only one more as on BW! As about why i was going out from TT forum had more to do with your calling of Robbie a karaoke-singer and Owen a munchin singer or something like that. I prefer more polite discusions. And don't shout me about Julie... What the other TT-fans think about it? I am one - and i like it. Not as the best song but also not as the worst. But i like it. I could also bring a lot of TT fans who don't like a song or other one. And? Would you don't like a song anymore just because everybody else don't like it? Why on earth only because you despise a song should i think it is a bad one? Sorry everybody - end of discussion here for me. :teresa:
  22. Standing Next To Me 36+ My Mistakes Were Made For You 55- Meeting Place 32
  23. I am very curious now to hear the new album :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
  24. Very weird and bad taste, IMO. I hate every time when the image of a dead person is used, charity or not. It is manipulating... :puke2:
