Your hate to Mark Owen , Norma, doesn't surpise me a bit anymore. How he dare to have his own style and how he dare to bring it on the album they write together! He should stand back as in the first time or barrely bringing his own mind as in the BW and be happy that Gary takes the lead and does anything for the whole TT. Perhaps Mark should not come on the stage anymore, what for? I think that will make you happy and other TT die-hard fans as well. But you miss the point, isn't it? This project is a team one. That Mark has more lead comes actually because he brings also his own ideas and i am happy that Jason and Howard seem to mellow very well with it. The Circus has clear two very different styles in it. The Barlow style, with which we are well accustomed from the first time and from the songs he wrote for his solo time and for others, like Katherine Jenkins. The Owen style, which we know (well, at least I know) from his own solo works. They are both now mature songwriters with developed taste in music. The listeners may like both or only one but only to have one of them won't represent TT but only a single "voice" and "mind" and not four. That would be no TT anymore IMO (yes, as much as I would like only Owen style songs). This is Take That band and The Circus is a band / team effort and not Gary Barlow with three backing singers. Should also Howard and Jason have more songwriting knowledge, i am sure they would bring their own style also. I am sure enough would Gary not want the things like that he would release a new solo album with very big success, as he is seen now from the media and publicum as a very good songwriter. Where it is place for Elton John, Il Divo and Katherine Jenkins, it is also for Gary Barlow. IWFL was actually quite nice, but not very good as a single. It wasn't helped either with the lack of promotion and a weird video. You didn't liked Greatest day and it was still No 1 in UK and i heard a lot of people who liked it. It would be the same if Julie or Up all night or whatever other song would be released. Some you would like, some I. Some you would despise and get very vocal, some I will only not buy and not support (like i didn't with Greatest Day).

For me are overrated: Kid Rock - All summer long Britney - Womaniser
  3. I listen to the song...not bad not bad but not good either... <_< Kind of boring for me, goes nowhere. It could chart in top 20 but i don't see making the top 10 (only if they play at the Brits) .
  4. Please bring the Specialist Forum back! I know i post there only once in a while, but only because a lot of the acts where unknown to me. But i read and learn a lot and the acts there where on my liking more as the pop or indie. I agree there are a lot of acts which are not pop or indie, starting with Depeche Mode (why they don't have a forum of their own is beyond of my understanding). I would like that here in Buzzjack more about other kind of music will be discussed, starting with classic, traditional music or be it film / musical music. I must be one of last dinosauria who really likes these kinds of music... <_<
  5. 100 Take That - Greatest Day :yahoo: 90 Coldplay - Viva La Vida :yahoo: 80 Duffy - Mercy :yahoo: 70 P!nk -So what 60 Girls Aloud - The Promise 50 Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl 40 Beyonce - If I Were A Boy 30 The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name 20 Mint Royale - Singin' In The Rain 10 Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah -10 Madonna ft. JT & Timbaland - 4 Minutes :puke2: (there is only one song with the "4 minutes" in the title which i like! and i hate Madonna dancing in the video )
  6. LOL, does Liam like something else as Beatles and Oasis? :naughty:

I don't like none of these two songs, but i choose Killers as I really really really don't like the other one . Quite disspointed,as i like Nelly :(
  8. <_< Promise was a very good song. This one doesn't do a thing for me. Quite boring for me.... I give them a Top 10, as they seem every time to get it, but i hope it sleeps very quick out of top 40 ....
  9. Actually i quite expect for TT to get out of Top 10. Also I expect that Geraldine and Buckley will lose some places...
  10. Standing Next To Me 35+ My Mistakes Were Made For You 56- Meeting Place 32
  11. The music is not bad (especially the second song). But I miss some personality, something to distinguish them from other indie bands.
  12. Thank you! I know there is a difference between Rule the world single and the tour album, for example.
  13. Great for TakeThat to take the chistmas no 1 in albums :yahoo: !
  14. Agree...the only song of Boyzone I really like ,but i hate the video
  15. Great for Take That and Gabriela to be in top 10 ! :yahoo: Is it actually any difference between GD album version and the radio version?
  16. Sorry, but the art you are telling make a difference. I have nothing against what you like or not, i just don't like how some facts are expressed here. Cheers!
  17. Julie - amateurish? It has one of the best orchestration from the whole album! Give me anyday amateurish like that, courage to try something new, new path, new orchestration as songs which are like the one they done before over and over. I think i will take a very long break. You will do your best without me here around .
  18. Robbie Williams - if he really release his new album
  19. Each their own. I could give also a lot of hard words and explanation why i think the Circus is a poor song, but i will skip that. I am a fan of musicals, i hear a lot of them, with "West side story" and "Fiddler on the roof" on my firsts spots, but i still don't like The Circus. For normal music I am more a fan of rock as pop, which explain perhaps why i like more Mark's songs as Gary's. The orchestration is more on my taste in Hello and Julie as in You or The Circus.
  20. For me Julie and Hello are great songs! I love them both! Julie more when i am alone but still a fantastic song with so much heart and great harmonies at the end... Very powerful indeed... :yahoo: Well, mine are like that: Up all night Hold up a light She said Hello Here Julie Said it all The Garten You How did it come to this Greatest Day What is love The Circus The first 8 I hardly skip and i love them, so 8 out 13 is very very good for me! :w00t: I still give the album 7/10 because the lyrics doesn't impress me apart from 5 songs and the music is sometimes too drowned in violins for me liking.
