I was surprised how bade did the Irland song at the Eurovision, but the position didn't do it justice at all. When they played only tiny bits for voting, i didn't heard that there was two songs - melted to well woth the song before it. Very bad for a song to don't be recognizable from few seconds.
  2. Lily Allen is very present in german radio. I heard a lot Not fair and Fear.
  3. Can someone made a comparation of Sattelite chart with Fairytale chart? I am curious which countries like more the one and which the other .
  4. Sorry folks, but UK send songs that even people in UK won't buy. When was the last UK Eurovision song a number 1? IF you look at the songs who won in the last years, they started with a big buzz in their own country. Why you expect that the european are so idiot to vote and buy something that even you don't like? Second: people across Europe are very aware that UK has a lot of good artists and songs. So they are feeling cheated with what UK sends  .

I am impressed how much support the song got in Germany. It is bound that everything touch from Stefan Raab will have huge publicity, but still i am impressed as Eurovision will be discovered from the young generation  . I really cannot predict how the song will do... I like the song, but the vocals are really amateurish to cabaret style - i have no idea how the listeners will vote for it. I mean Rybak was also not the best singer, but was better as this  . And he had that violin
  6. I gave up to trust Popjustice long time ago. But i can trust that if they hype something, i won't like it
  7. After hearing this song, i am not ashamed anymore for liking some songs of NKOTB as i was 15  I would really like to see the faces of the people buying this single i ten years as they will discover it dusted  . I love Sound of music - JLS song is beyond kitsch . It is so bad that it would make LJS to deserve to flop on every other song they will bring.
  8. Are you sure Norma that the TT songs are not written then by Robbie? He sang a lot of them when he was not in speaking terms with Gary, so i am sure he had not the "Amen" from Gary  . Or i suppose they could be written from this band http://www.takethattributeband.com/ or from Fake Take or from Take That 2 . Really, if someone would bother to hear the solo songs or the songs written from Gary, Mark and Howard alone, and hear them in the musical substance, musical harmonies and orchestration and not who-sings-in-the-most-beautiful-way would also discover which influence has which in TT songs. But for that one must be naturally objective  . Oh, but i suppose that Mark three albums and the songs he wrote in the past for theater or now for Diana Vickers or for Ben Mills are also actually written by Gary, as well with the songs written by Howard.... As for Gary supporting conservatives, i don't see the problem. You should all be happy to live in a democracy and not in a one-party-dictature. And in democracy someone has the right to support the party he wants, without having to give explanations how much he invests his money he won through his work on it (as long is not an extrem right /left/anarchist party). Conservative party are needed to keep a balance to the liberals, and bad hours has a country where all parties are the same direction. I have always seen Gary as a very conservative spirit, being family, priciples, fashion sense or music style. He comes from a not so poor family and the most of his live he was a millionaire without worries for the tomorrow day, living in expensive villas, going out with likes like Elton John or Cheryl , who are also not so poor  . Have you heard in his lyrics only once about big politics thema or something edgy in this direction? So, his world is the world of rich, what a surprize! My only problem was that Gary went into a school for this political propaganda and i hate when the politician are doing it (after years in school learning about the politics of communist party). And also i think that the kids need something different for the future as a new contest for pop-stars-wannabe-five-minutes-famous. Such a pity that Take That have the majority of fans woman, who needs to be enchanted with perfect images, bland love lyrics, good looking muscles and here and there a charity. They would have been such a great band if they would have the freedom to be themselves and not the expectation of millions of woman, who believe in what papers writes and that the image from the interviews or autobiographical books is the real one... :arrr: I find it quite silly to put expectation for a perfect conduct on pop and film stars. They are not famous for that, they are normal people. You pay for the films and music, not for their lives. They didn't make a contract with those buing the tickets / albums that they will be saints and do whatever the non-famous person expects from them. They are no Gods to look at them for a way in life, someone should use his own brain and learn his kids to use theirs instead of moaning about "bad examples". Bad examples are The Sun or Daily Mail readers who take as a surrogate to their "not-so-important" life the life of the stars, living inside the imaginary lives of the celebrities instead of being happy with the chances they got in live and the possibility to make it better through themselves.
  9. If they release for Christmas they will be against TakeThat, if they release for mother day, they will be against Boyzone. If they don't come with a strong original single, but with the usual cover, they will became very bland and only bought as sure presents who cannot offend  . It is a big mistake after all the "we release an original song", "this album can have 10 singles" blah blah.... I still expect them releasing an album at least every two years, there will be allways a market for bands like this, but they are slowly sliding down.
  10. Wow, the video is great!! :yahoo: Such a pity that they cannot bring the robots at the Eurovision. I hope at least Paula will come with this great catsuit . Are they traying to break Japan?
  11. Oh dear... i have none to choose.
  12. On the list Lily, with a close 2nd position of Amy :cheer:
  13. Looking forward for her new material and to know if she changes the style. I used to hate Mercy at the beginning, but i love it now :w00t:
  14. Beatles and Muse are not boy bands (Boyzone ain't british actually). So i voted for Take That. To put Beatles against JLS require a very big amount of irony
  15. I prefer Norway by far. Ireland is a little too sweet for me, too Disney or West End
  16. I suppose the songs were a little bt too "quiet" on this album. Not so direct, so bold as the ones from the first two albums. Were more subtle in sound.
  17. Amy or Robbie  Or Depeche Mode :cheer:
  18. Great news . I hope they will add a dash from the anthemic sound of LSP-project  They really should left the Humbug era... Somehow the indie bands are fighting with the curse of third album  . Which is a pity as i liked the songs from Humbug.
  19. As much as i don't like Bono, i think he deserves to be in top 10 (more as Oasis *cough*), not place 2 thought  .
  20. When i read charts like this i realize how bad the music is nowadays....
  21. Did Q watched the old TT videos or why is Robbie on the list ? They forget Michael Stipe :arrr: . I would have put Mick Jagger or Freddy Mercury on the first....
  22. I am not so sure about this entry how well will done. It is just a little to bit MOR for me, too bland... I don't see it as a winner, there are better songs IMO.
  23. Strange that the B-side is on i-tunes now but My propeller not . I don't get it why all of a sudden they are so out in the media, i hardly find any news about them ... Does the single get any airplay?

I know now why i don't like the song. The song would be funny with someone else as a voice, a more dance-pop voice. But Lena has a very limited range, she sings it like a cabaret song, with speaking where she cannot hold a note. Her voice would suit totally other way of songs, with a lot of emphasis on good lyrics. The video is crap  . Still my fav german entry is the song from Texas Lightning...
  25. I haven't expected that Robbie will fall so quick  . He had a lot of air play and also the song is for charity... For me Morning sun is miles better than Bodies, for which i have a totally aversion because of the lyrics. It seems that the songs i like have to flop. So it was with Better from Boyzone and also the last Arctic singles... :teresa:
