HAPPY MUSIC, FASHION, FILM WEEK! 🤍

The album is at number 7 in the midweeks 🤩

The Vertigo vinyl doesn't include David Cronenberg's collaboration on the last track making it 03:06 long instead of 05:42 Must have been a last minute change to the song after some vinyls were already pressed?

Video was filmed at a quarry in Kent and features Vincent Cassel. The Sun were on set and got clips and pics. Their write-ups send me every time https://www.thesun.ie/tvandshowbiz/17316297/charli-xcx-writhes-undies-satin-shirt-music-video/

It sounds like the most earworm-y track so far with that repetitive chorus. I know she replaces “feel” with “fear” every line but it sounds the same Love the distorted guitar bits in the verses during that live performance - hope they're on the studio version!

It sounds low key decent from that preview

01 Kelela - new avatar 02 horsegiirL - NATURE IS HEALING 03 Kim Petras - Detour 04 Prospa - Free Your Mind 05 Madonna - CONFESSIONS II 06 CFCF - L.U.V. 07 Chris Stussy - Lost, Found & Forgotten… 08 Digitalism - Optimism 09 Ebende - Dream City 10 Kiss Facility - KHAZNA

This was the first CD I played out last night as a fully licensed driver. I can’t think of a better album more suited for a late night drive. Raven is still her masterpiece but this is nearly as good.

It took a week for me to get over how short and abrupt this is. Usually not an issue for me with Charli’s short tracks. But this is too fun to resist. Love those little vocoded vocal effects, and the switch up from cute talky verses to full blown breezy chorus. 🤍
