I've just found this song. I haven't heard it for more than ten years. Shakespears Sister ~ Stay 5pC3VJA_CB8
  2. sorry about lame question but aren't they supposed to be bands/artists that don't release albums anymore?

Yesterday I read the thread about Soundgarden and Chris Cornell and I though that this band should be mentioned too. Mad Season released only one album "Above". This was side project of Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) and John Baker Saunders. I like this album a lot. and here are some songs from it: River of Deceit, their single, but this is a live version CBACTCS4SmI my favourite ~ Long Gone Day, I wanted to embed live version but this option is disabled on youtube. :-( SCl108Lxav0 Wake Up, this is beautiful too ;-) YPAmydQsozU

  5. Mad Season ~ Above http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f6/MadSeason-Above.jpg after all these years, still very enjoyable music :-)

ehh, I don't know why  Don't get me wrong. "Ghost Reveries" is very good album, they always release a quality music but I don't like it that much as "Blackwater Park" "Still Life" "MARH" or "Morningrise". I would give GR 7.5/10 The last one is too new for me to even try to sum it up. Maybe after another twenty listenings. ;-) And the video to "THE GRAND CONJURATION" is silly and awful and 100% in not their style, if you get what I mean.
  7. You know It's indeed very strange that after all these years they are almost unknown in UK. Here in my country they can easy fill 2000/3000 capacity venues. I think it's not that bad :-) oh in fact I saw Anathema three times. The last time I saw tem they supported Porcupine Tree.
  8. I agree with you in a 100% And Yeah, The Gathering are bloody good too. Do you know Agua de Annique? This is recent Anneke's band :-). They recorded very good album. B) She has beautiful voice. I had this luck to see The Gathering back after releasing "How to Measure a Planet?" She is incredible live! And I saw Anathema twice and also saw Vinnie and Danny in a special acoustic gig. They are bloody funny people, especially Vinnie :-) Hehe, I've known and loved Opeth for ten years :-)
  9. This is great classic pop tune :-). Shame that media didn't want to play this song, I don't get it ;-). And the guy is a prophet or something ;-). boJ6dTJ0gFQ

  12. haha, very funny    but now I'm scared that my cats might do something like that
  13. This is genuine wonderful band. I don't know if I put this topic in the right place because this band has metal roots. However their last few albums were highly inspired by artists like Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead ect. They made some beautiful melancholic music. Listen to this and tell me what you think. "A Natural Disaster" and "Temporary Peace"  JQtQne11liI Are you there zsAWoxAovnc Flying GWJudZnENT0
  14. 16 Horsepower ~ Folklore http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/04/Folklore_hp.jpg I love Sinnerman.

I love Opeth but the last two albums.... I can't come around to them. Something is missing...
  17. I prefer Spoonman or Rusty Cage And I agree with GRIMLY FIENDISH that Black Hole Sun was heavily over-played.

I don't know his stuff too much but I like "Wave Goodbye" and this song has very nice lyrics too:-).
  19. What you believe in:-) Very Beatles-esque song and sang from the heart  Definitely in my top 3 on BW album.

hmm.....It depends what you mean. If you are talking about mainstream music it has to be '00. All hip hop/rap/r&b domination in the charts. For me this kind of music doesn't bring any emotions plus the lyrics are often so ridiculous and shallow. I can't stand it. It annoys me because it also poisoned classic pop. Now almost every song (especially in USA has this soul/r&b influence) therefore couples years ago I stopped to watch music channels listen to the radio stations and charts. Also It annoys me that nowadys singles have to be at most 3:50 long because radio stations won't play them. In the '70 you could listen songs in the radio and tv which lasted even 7 or 10 minutes. I miss this kind of freedom. Even in the '90 for example Metallica released One (almost 8 min. long). Nowadays it would be impossible. However I think that there is a lot of good music nowadays but it isn't promoted in media. If you want to listen to some interesing stuff you have to search it by yourself in internet for example. Of course there are some exceptions and from time to time there are good songs in commercial world too. ;)

  22. Hello everybody :-) As you see I'm new on this forum. I'm a music freak. I'm listening to the music almost 24/7. I don't know if I'm big fan of TT because I've known them for a couple of months so they are new thing to me ;-). But I'm enjoying their comeback atm.
